loluharmony:Just forget about it bro. Don't get too attached to things. The money you will spend will cost you another phone |
He who pays the piper calls the tune to mean that the person who pays for something has the right to decide what it will be like. You don't go about, begging for one favour (used aircrafts and weapons, used textbooks, hand-me-down railway technical know-how and other similar junks) from one country to another and expect your sovereignty to be handed out to you in gloves. If President Buhari had stayed in Aso rock, 70% of the time, he would have commanded respect from these western coalition. Meanwhile, what brought down Jonathan's government was his stance on gay rights. The western nations turned their backs on him and pulled their weight behind Buhari. No wonder Buhari didn't turn towards that direction again. But he riled up another sensitive part of the west. Suppression of citizen's right, in an age where liberals are ruling most of the west. Perhaps, APC can pack their brooms in two years time if the opposition play it's game well. President Buhari has shot himself in the foot. |
Tomorrow Buhari will go and be rolling before Germany to move their African command to Bornu. Next week, he will be begging America for Used jets and weapons. Enjoy your power. I go soon shock una for there. |
Nawaa oo... All these university students of nowadays, we now have a biography of an undergraduate. O gaa oo! Hmmmm! |
killerdragon:oya. how to start? |
No. Your brain will tear. |
All these lengthy speech...how has the price of garri come down in the market? This used to be a thing on Nairaland. Bring back our price of garri comparison. |
In all these, the lesson that stands out is that the life of work is longer than the life of the worker. The former COAS died few days ago and was buried the next day, with the President not attending his burial and all. Today they have announced his replacement and everyone seems happy and moved on. The only time we have is the present, so we must use it well |
In our fight against monsters, we must take care so we don't become the monsters we were fighting in the first place. The moment ordinary Ahmed feels he can do whatever he likes and gets away with it because he's fighting human rights, then we need worry. Even Mother Theresa, as saintly as she is, still have some grey spots in her life that wouldn't exactly speak Christian, but nevertheless, everyone should be accountable. Nigerians won't see what's wrong here because we are mostly emotionally attached beings. Even our president has his sentiments with cows |
Oscarnero7:How much last please? Kindly share pics |
He could have contacted me. I would have provided an essay of 150 less annoying and genuinely convincing reasons to choose from that he would have passed on to Nigerians for just 1,500naira. Heediot! |
dometome:Well it was retired just last 2 years https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.cnet.com/news/us-military-retires-floppy-disks-used-by-nuclear-weapons-system/&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwiEi5j31OHwAhWGmhQKHZXVA1kQFjAOegQIBhAB&usg=AOvVaw2ROEt87p8EDACAJ3NvI3V8 |
While I'm not a computer scientist, but the op reeks of sheer ignorance. Older generation programming languages are not a waste in this modern age. For example, The US nuclear weapons force still uses a 1970s-era computer system and 8-inch floppy disk. Also, 3.5-inch floppy disks are still in use on airplanes to load avionics software. A dead clock is useful twice. |
You could have persisted better in Lagos. If truly you came with your bridge burnt, and I'm in your shoes, then you won't have returned back to your comfort zone. You would have begged to sleep in a Church or something, till you found a suitable plan B. Even Buhari couldn't attend the COAS's burial, so how much more would you expect better from your friend. What will be will be bro. Keep pushing |
Instead of you to improve your arguments and convince us that you're not one of those many numerous scammers on Nairaland, you're here cursing. I'm blessed Oga, no man can curse me. Thank God I don't know you before, so you can't say I have a personal vendetta against you. Anyone that buys that your laptop and comes back to complain here is on his own. A word is enough for the wise |
So what has Akpabio said about the gruesome murder of the poor girl? Has he shown any public sympathy? Afterall, he ruled Akwa Ibom State for 8 years of his "uncommon transformation" that didn't do much to provide jobs for Akwa Ibom people. He currently is even heading NDDC, an agency that is supposed to bring dividends of democracy for the South South. Umoren was buried alone today. But here he is trying to show whose c*Ock is bigger. Thankfully, David Hundeyin is not based in Nigeria, so his lawyers will need to work harder. Tope Alabi sang that there will be unending explanations on the resurrection morning. |
AntiAPC2023:As God will have it, I sent him half payment. In 10 mins time, he chatted me up that I've been involved in a grand scam. Though he later refunded some part of the money. If you have interest in buying anything on Nairaland, send someone you know to check it out or through public transport driver from your town to confirm the goods before Payment. Demor1:Shut up there! When you want to scam people, we know your antics. When alert enters now na English go remain. |
They don come again oo... Naso one scam me last month on Nairaland through this same method. RUN!!!!! |
No wonder it was so easy to kill the poor girl, Ini. There is so much joblessness in Akwa Ibom State. Their governor keeps building massive stadiums with state funds and no one seems to bat an eye. Few months ago when I was in Uyo, once it's sun down, almost everyone is in the streets, selling one thing or another. May God help you all! |
Normally I avoid this northern Islamic affair, but this time... Some other states will do partnership with serious organizations for the benefit of their people, but up north, Ishbar and association of event planners will do collabo to prevent youths from dancing. No wonder there is no single serious Nollywood Celebrity from the core North. Their creative industry is zero. They prevent themselves from embracing in their movies. In 20 years time, they will weep over what they've done to themselves. But alas, Nigeria won't be a single entity nation by then. |
It is sad how low the standards are of recent as a reason of the carelessness of Nigerians who felt an ancient dinosaur should be rewarded twice with leadership. Other countries will engage the services of a mercenary or some harvard trained mediator to intervene in a situation like this, but no, we felt it's best to get a "Gworo" connoisseur grandfather Islamic spiritualist from our backyard to do it far cheaper for us. What a shame!!!!!! |
The only thing I'll advise you is to come and try your luck in the city. No one knows where his luck lies in this life until he makes an attempt. But armed with 20k to any city in Nigeria is suicidal. You need to have known one brother from your village who has settled comfortably in Lagos and is willing to assist you while you find your footing. Lagosians are very smart and can recognize JJC's from afar. Don't come and end up as a missing person's case in your pursuit for a better life. That being said, best wishes as you follow your heart. |

Udom feels too big to grace the grieving family with his presence because he is the almighty. This is after how many days after the ill-fated job interview that was as a result of his inaction in Akwa Ibom State. Always building giant Churches, Stadiums and entertainment centers with state funds. "Satan is glad- when I am bad...And hopes that I- with him shall lie...In fire and chains- and dreadful pains." Victorian Child's Poem, 1856. |
nsiba:Hello praying mantis brain, can't you be more logical and engage better like the other guy? I guess you don't understand what guilty as charged since you went to an evening school. You need to learn how to be objective and devoid of emotionalism when you come to express your dumb opinions on a public forum. |
your assumptions are not true. Obviously you judged based on the number of Churches you saw on the roadside, while sitting in the vehicle. Village churches don't need to be sighted along the roadside as they are important landmarks themselves. City churches are always sighted by the roadside for visibility. It's that simple |
Even though this is enough evidence that Baba Ijesha is guilty as charged, but in the real sense of it, the real sexual act didn't ensue as there was no evidence of penetration. Can lawyer's interpret the implication of this video for us? |
GloShare:We forget how they played the PR card excellently well in 2015. People started believing that Buhari was the best thing since sliced bread, talking about how Nigeria used to be better when he introduced WAI years back. The concept of anti-corruption campaign got him an award at ECOWAS shortly after he began his tenure. Talk about social media campaigns, it is this same administration that is trying to gag Nigerians online. Shame! But all the same, we must consider that they have run out of ideas this time, so it will be a hard luck with PR. No more "16 years of misadministration of PDP", no more "they sat and shared money". It is with their actions that Nigerians will judge this time |
No one seems to bat an eye that the entire biometrics and sensitive data resource of diasporan Nigerians is being handled by an Indian! What If he sells these information to the highest bidder? Meanwhile always reveal the fact that you've not been to Aso Rock with contractors or collected any form of brown envelope or Ghana must go when criticizing the government. It's very important |
Sorry bro. This looks like a poultry, sincerely. You need to visit OAU, Ife that was built many years before this dump was imagined to see nice structures. It's sad that these are the kinds of places that Arewa youths are moulded and they come online on Twitter to challenge westerners with their sophisticated world views |
Well, quite true, but both the presidency, Father Mbaka and Fayose are pots, kettles and jugs respectively. Where are where we are because of all of them. I guess the only person with a moral right to criticize the government is Bishop Oyedepo. He has never for once gone to Aso Rock for "special prayers" and everything else that comes with it. He said the gates of hell will be opened if Buhari was elected and truly it opened. He hasn't stopped putting fire in their fulani arses and they are never able to challenge him. |
Don't let it get at you bro. It happens to the best of us. Fire up your CV. There are a thousand other companies out there that needs your skills set. You are even less than 30, so you have a whole lifetime ahead of you. Nothing lasts forever, so knock another doort |
