bellyjean:If you look at the bold parts of your comment very well, you will the sense I'm trying to make out of it, that if the non-interest banking had been encouraged, they would've taken care of all the points you raised there. Because in the non-interest banking model, there's month room for laziness, no moral harzard, and banks are supposed to be out there helping the real sector in an arrangement called mudarobah - risk and profit sharing. |
I have been driving round town in my Kia Sorento for the past one year now without one single valid document. Just like the OP, I know every spot where FRSC and VIOs are in Lagos. But I don't fear Police, na money them that one go chop. The last time I was arrested somewhere in Ajegunle, na money I give them. But God, willing, I go find money go do my papers and driver's license because the thing don tire me to dey hide here and there. |
AntiMahdi:Me, condemning your username? You're a joker. It only gave an idea of what you're driving at. Expert indeed. Guy, wherever you live or stay, MFM Hqtrs is beckoning. You need deliverance. "All your enemies must fall down and..." |
AntiMahdi:Now I get you. You have just shown that you don't really know anything about what you're talking about. For your information, Islam and the principles of the Mahdi are poles apart. Now, why am I taking you serious? I'm done with you. |
AntiMahdi:Taking a second look at your moniker makes me think twice about you: "AntiMahdi". Any sane person should by now know what you stand for having pointed out your name. By the way, hope you know the stand of Islam when it comes to the issue of the Mahdi? So, like I said earlier, continue in your folly. May God help you- it has various meanings. |
AntiMahdi:Why the attack, is the post about me? I said you should continue telling your tales by moonlight, you are here ranting about hating Jews. Oga, I beg park well if you no get anything more to yarn. And just like someone said up there, this is a thread for Yaba left candidates. |
interesting. Have you completed your story or we should still expect more of your follies? I'm enjoying it you know. Continue. |
The Professor have some points there. But bringing GEJ into the discredited his person and pedigree. But wait a minute o, how can a country or should I say how can a Preside, in this century of constitutional supremacy, be Islamised or Islamise his people? Even my smartphone can't recognise the word "Islamise". Meaning it's possible. |
lifezone247:Amen!!!! Because if TY Danjuma should locate him, Olajumoke go be child's play. You know who Danjuma be? The man that said money is not his problem but how to spend it. |
Do I really blame these politicians or should we really blame them if they are strategising to return to power while we, the citizens, only protest on social media? it is their job to strategise on how to return to power, that's their profession, they have no other job. It's only left for us as citizens either to return them to power or not. After all, they aren't going to force their selves on us. And if you think they force themselves on us through rigging, is it not through the same citizens of this country that they do that? As for me, the moment I read the story, I've already started thinking of how to position myself so that I can be part of that new party. Perhaps, I may change things for the general good of the people. Because sitting here, complaining would not do me any good. |
Awoofawo:Why do you have to call me names, did I mention your name or did I abuse anybody here? Anyway, I won't get down to your level. |
There are instances like the day Dr. Saraki visited Keffi for the marriage of the daughter of Senator Abdullahi Adamu aresa:I tire o! See me see wahala o! Can you imagine!? Why him no drive him papa car go the wedding, abi him no inherit any car from Olusola Saraki ni? |
If I were the Senate President, I would simply request that all official vehicles attached to my office should be shared to members of nairaland after reading all these their childish comment. I will be using public transport to carry out official duties, so that you all can ail me of how saintly I am. And when I get late to any event because of traffic, don't crucify me o, after all, that's what you all want. But Dr Senate President, why you self go dey use official car for private matter? What are you doing with your official car at the wedding Ceremony of the daughter of your Senator friend, did you go there to represent us, abi we send you message ni? So, is that an excuse, because your car broke down at a friend's daughter wedding. Do you know how many times my own car don brake down for 3rd mainland bridge, with my wife and son inside? Take time o! |
catchfun:This Igbo group are not just funny but they are silly at the same time. Why? Here are the reasons, from the bold parts: You are begging someone to "spare the life...," you made the appeal after the Supreme Court threw out Rev King’s appeal against the death sentence, that he should be pardoned, and in this same breath you are still castigating the Supreme Court judgement as a miscarriage of justice. Which means you do not agree with the judgement but you are just begging for mercy. The sensible thing to have done is to have agreed with the judgement and simply ask that Justice should be tampered with Mercy, Period! But typically of their type, they are still grand standing. |
Hysmady:Same here. Trekable distance, from Sabo-Yaba, Little Road to Unilag |
crimebusters:Sing, in Lucky Dube's voice: I remember the day I called mama on the telephone, I said "mama, I'm getting married" I could heard her voice from the other side of the telephone, she was smiling And she asked me question, I don't know the answer She said "son, did you take time to know her"? I told her, "mama, she isn't bad" But today, I'm catching cold to go back to mama and say "mama, I'm getting divorce" The choice I made didn't work the way I thought it would... I remember in church, when the preacher read the scriptures You looked so beautiful and innocent I did not know that behind that beauty Lies the true colors that will destroy me in the near future Lucky Dube - It's Not Easy Lyrics | How I wish Lowo gets a divorce instead of burial. |
bims87:Something that has been trending on twitter since 5.30am this morning, you are here just calling for it now... |
mrmetoo1:You know, sometimes, I just wonder what some citizens stand to gain if this man fail? Perhaps they have forgotten that we, the citizens, will be the ones to go down if he fails. I understand that some of them are still suffering from the defeat of their 'hero', but then, we have to move on. |
Iroh88:Here comes the elders in the house. But why did it take you soooo long before making thus comment, perhaps previous commentators before you would been reset to normal mode. By the way, did you also see how they were threatening govt and the country? Let no one come and shout "rule of law" when they are slamed with treason o! OK o |
I have always engaged @benmurraybruce on twitter in a not too pleasant manner, in recent, simply because of the way he gas been attacking every policy of this government since its inception. I was of the view that instead of attacking the government, why not give us your alternative options or opinions on how you think things should work? For me, I think that's what opposition is all about, to give us an opposing and alternative views. However, I've noticed that that's what the senator had been doing in recent times. He has stopped whining on twitter like a cry baby and have allowed reason to prevail. I showed him pepper. These are the type of leadership thinking we ask from you senator. And where we have difference of opinions, it's only normal that we iron it out. God bless the senator. |
meccuno:What part of my comment is not clear to you? |
henrydadon:I can't remember the last time I made any comments on nairaland but this your comment drew me out of my shell. Honestly, If there's another life I don't pray to come to Africa again. It is people like Ankio Briggs that makes the continent in general backward. Imagine her saying the cancellation of a university would course war between the north and the ND. It just shows how dumb she is. And to imagine that that's someone's mother. Gawwwwwd!!!! |
I was at the MBA School, Yaba, today, Saturday 13th Fe., 2016 to complete my registration. You need to see how frustrated we were, I mean those of us that were there for registration. 1. The MBA Student pasted a notice on their door that payment to the Association is from 10am-2.30pm, Saturdays inclusive. Till I left there around 15minutes past 1pm, they were no where to be found. That one no pain me o, afterall, I don't it's going to stop them from signing my form. 2. The PG Cordinator or whoever also pasted that registration starts from 10am on Saturdays. My guy and I got there some minutes before 10am, hoping that there would have been a lot of people on the waiting list. Fortunately, we met only one woman there , waiting. 10am, nobody in sight; 11am, 12pm, 1pm the same. It was until around 1.15pm that a lady now spoke to someone on the phone, that one now said we should drop our papers, that is if we wish, and come back for it on Monday. Now, this is a University, a School that trains on people on how to master business administration. I leave the rest for you to judge. After, we will be abusing and coursing those at the top, not knowing that we do worst in our various places of work. |
cbrass:Yes nah! Some people don dey castigate me for here say abi.... one thing one thing... |
cbrass:Well, I will suggest you keep this line open, I mean you should check here often, because I will be posting the project requirement on this forum, once it is completed. I'm presently rounding up on the project charter, and once it is adopted, we will move into the requirement analysis phase. Goodluck to you all, and even to the pessimist. |
guru01:You have just given yourself out as a mediocre. I don't mean your personal address. What do I need your personal address for? What I mean is your business address, or don't your office have a business address? You see, this is the reason we miss opportunities. If you claim to be an entrepreneur, you should at least have a business address, a registered business name and something that makes you look corporate. Look at the question this one is asking me. Anyway, good luck to you. Me, I know what I'm saying. I happen to be the Technical Project Manager of this project, I developed the Project Charter. Something just say I should share this with my folks on this forum, and you are here insinuating what is not. Na una sabi o! |
I hope you all that are posting your contact have the capacity to take on this project? This is no mean task o! And I hope you have registered company with a track record? OK o! |
blenyo11:Thank for your response. I also need your physical mailing address. So that we can send you detailed Request for Proposal in hard copy as well. You know how it's being done now...? |

A popular Multipurpose Staff Cooperative Society in a leading Nigerian University in the South-Western part of the country will sooner than later be inviting submission of proposals from suitably qualified professional application service providers and information technology vendors to develop, design and launch application software for the cooperative accounting process, and to also design, host and launch a new corporate web site in accordance with the requirements to be set forth. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RfP) is to solicit proposals from various candidate organizations, conduct a fair and extensive evaluation based on criteria listed herein, and select the candidate who best represents the direction the Cooperative Society wishes to go. Interested ASPs/Vendors should drop their contact address here and any possible information that they deem useful and necessary as I will be forwarding the request for proposal very soon. This is an opportunity I think I should share with my fellow nairalanders. |
