@4play

I personally saw that summit on BBC News 24 when puttin made that damning address where he said the USA is a threat to world peace and how they are trying to control everyone else through economic and military action, who wants that? he querried. it was so funny but believe me its real.

MALLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMM NUUUUUHHHHUUU RIIIIBBBBAAAAAADDDDDUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

My Idol, when he brought Nwude to book. He was not OBJ's tool. When he brought down Tafa Balogun he was not. Now he has gone for the biggest thieves the politicians they are crying foul. They ai'nt seen nothing yet. I am so convinced EFCC under Yaradua or Buhari will even be more vigorous. This is day break yet.
PoliticsRe: EFCC is A Threat To Democracy by McKren(m): 8:50pm On Feb 16, 2007
Andy Uba will not be Governor of Anambra mark my words.
EFCC has not said they are guilty of any crime, they have only advised INEC and the public of people who have questions to answer. Talking about convicting people in the court of public opinion, its also obtainable in the US. Go and research how the "Megan's Law" works in the US and tell me how that is different from what the EFCC has done on this occassion.

Besides that, its not compulsory a method of fighting corruption must be approved in the US before we practice it. We have perculiar problems that can never be solved by textbook democracy.
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Constitution - Disqualification Revisited by McKren(m): 8:35pm On Feb 16, 2007
The truth is that only those in opposition understands what the constitution says these days, expecially those in AC (Atiku Congregation or Army of Calumny).
PoliticsRe: EFCC is A Threat To Democracy by McKren(m): 8:21pm On Feb 16, 2007
I seriously think Nigerians are not being fair to Ribadu, the guy has put his life at stake so that we may have a change and people are just talking. What police or judiciary could not achieve in over 50years he has achieved in 4years.

Tafa balogun had OBJ defending his interest until the last minute but yet Ribadu fought on.  Odili was almost compensated with VP by the PDP but Ribadu intercepted it. You want Andy Uba to be investigatedhuhhuh// Tell me what Andy did that has no OBJ connotations to it cos he was OBJ's aid? You want Ribadu to probe OBJ? Funny.
There is a saying that a stream which does not recognise its source dries out quickly. Lets say hypothetically that Ribadu were to probe and bring down OBJ, Atiku will take over and trust me one of his first acts will be to either sack Ribadu or frustrate the EFCC. Which boss wants to engage in that gamble.

In fact I have said before that I wont bother posting on threads like this anymore because it is obvious that those who dont want to see anything good about the EFCC are those who wished the war on corruption was never fought. They are too ashamed to argue along the lines of what they believe in, they now resort to bullying the EFCC by picking holes in their activities.

Call it selective war or political vendatta or whatever, I think its finding Nigerian solution to Nigerian problems.

But the goodnews is, Ribadu does not care what corrupt people make of him. He is not even afraid of dieing tomorrow but what matters to him is how history will remember him. And I tell you what a lot of Nigerians will tell their grandchildren about him.
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Constitution - Disqualification Revisited by McKren(m): 7:59pm On Feb 16, 2007
Not even VODOO can stop Ribadu, EFCC is here to stay!
Lovely statement.

HATE IT OR LOVE IT THE UNDERDOGS ARE ON TOP.

HealthRe: Genotype AS and AS: Can We Get Married? by McKren(m): 7:51pm On Feb 15, 2007
Well getting into this marriage with this girl you love so much has a 25% chance of unhappiness as regards the baby with sickle cell.

But getting married to the wrong person is 100% unhappiness.

Well I advice you get your decisions right cos its totally up to you. Even the medical practitioner can only advice you which you can consider a mere opinion. Every marriage will always have its challenges, if it will come from a child there is absolutely nothing man can do about it. People who are AA+AA can give birth to a blind or deformed kids. Some might even be born ok but get deformed for life before their 5th birthday.
Though you can reduce your risks but sometimes some of these things are down to shear luck.
Foreign AffairsRe: Israel Plans Nuclear Strike On Iran by McKren(m): 12:01pm On Feb 15, 2007
Oyb

I suggest you go read my previous posts on US and Iraq war, I am not a fan of US but jagsaw brought another dimension to the whole argument. All am saying is that as much as I do not support the US and its foreign policies people should stop exploiting the rules of engaging made to protect civilian lives as a war strategy.
Foreign AffairsRe: Israel Plans Nuclear Strike On Iran by McKren(m): 11:42pm On Feb 14, 2007
@jagwar

For your information mordern day warfare being dificult has nothing to do with the technological inability of middle-east countries but an attempt by western army to respect the sanctity of civilian lives in the face of war. An act which differentiates them from middle east militants who are happy to use their wives and children as human shields and at the same time happy to attack civilian population. Your comment below shows you approve of such a shameful tactics.
These weapons are totally usless in modern day warfare unless ofcourse they intend to wipe out civilians & gain more enemies 4 themselves. The US learnt this lesson the hard way in Iraq.
Also note that if Iran were to engage Isreal in some war, it wont be some army struggling to differentiate militants from civilians or any sort of gorilla warfare. It will be a full fledge state vs state affair.

Orikinla:
The PDP already manipulated the results of the Census to enable them rig the elections.
Howhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh

Does the census results reflect the number of people in PDP and other partieshuhhuh??

Nigeria's opposition are proving to be very bad loosers, they should spend more time telling Nigerians their alternative programmes than being paranoid or engaging in speculations.

Waste of time and space.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Is A Better Alternative To Yar'Adua by McKren(m): 12:31pm On Feb 14, 2007
I think Buhari even being a front runner says much about how we have refused to grow as a Nation. I am seriously not sympathetic to PDP but they are the only party pretending to do what is right. I simply dont understand why ANPP will present to the Nigerian people a man who ochestrated and executed the worst coup in our history as a Nation. I think his coup was the worst because he removed a democratically elected government an act which gave birth to the dark days of IBB and Abacha (they were all of the same clique within the army).

AC on the other hand, there is no better word to describe them than as Atiku Congregation (AC). A party whose sole aim is to enthrone Nigeria's symbol of fraud as the president of this Nation.

PDP may not be a great party but their candidate (Yaradua) is better of (than Atiku & Buhari put together) in the interest of this nation in terms of the quest for generational shift. Besides that I think Buhari having a second shut at the Presidency will leave him with no regrets for his past actions. That could also send a wrong message to present day military officers that they can get away with any trash they do to this nation.
PoliticsRe: Pdp Want Atiku Back? by McKren(m): 8:26am On Feb 13, 2007
I have said it before, all this gra-gra go soon stop. Atiku has no clue how to deal with Maurice Iwu. Iwu will pull the stunt.

He wants to use the media to bully Iwu to circumvent the constitution. How will INEC clear someone who has a case in the court against the provisions of the constitution. We are all democrats protecting the constitution ai'nt wehuhhuhhuh?.

Atiku should go and learn further, Prof. Maurice Iwu is no OBJ.
PoliticsRe: Are Militants Fighting For Development Of Niger Delta Or Themselves? by McKren(m): 11:47pm On Feb 12, 2007
How old is Odili?, Edwin Clark how old is he?

You will bear the worst brunt of all that trash, Asari and Ateke are turning role models for kids growing up in that region and mark my word 80% percent of teens from that region will end up like that.
PoliticsRe: Pdp Want Atiku Back? by McKren(m): 2:14pm On Feb 11, 2007
People dont seem to understand that Atiku and members of Turaki vanguard are capable of posting stuffs themselves on Newspaper and claiming its from the Presidency or PDP.
PoliticsRe: Who Is Atiku Abubakar & Why Is Obj After Him? by McKren(m): 9:53am On Feb 11, 2007
You have to be careful jumpinginto conclusion, Atiku's PR have a habit of posting thingson themedia and claimingits the product of the Presidency.
PoliticsRe: Donald Duke Declares For Presidency November 7 At Inter. Conference Cent., Abuja by McKren(m): 3:26am On Feb 11, 2007
So how come Mr.Duke's latest ambition did not go far, if he's such a charming governor and a magician?
Its no point arguing about this guy, he is out of the race for now. I dont wish to make much noise about him.
But the fact remains that Donald Duke in quiting the race left so many hearts broken but IBB quiting the race was a reason for most Nigerians to celebrate. That is the difference.
PoliticsRe: Do You Believe In The Nigeria Dream? by McKren(m): 2:33am On Feb 11, 2007
I developed that dream in the run to PDP primaries but I thought hope was deferred when the man who I thought would have been the symbol of that dream was forced to quit the race.

PoliticsRe: Us And Eu Ask For Evidence From Efcc And Presidency by McKren(m): 9:21pm On Feb 10, 2007
@BigB1

Please oh, dont get me wrong, what I meant was the family you claimed exists between Buhari, IBB, Atiku. I only refered to it as your family because I thought its your immaginary conception which do not actually exist.

Even you BigB1 will testify that I dont like to abuse people on this forum and will not abuse your family.
PoliticsRe: Us And Eu Ask For Evidence From Efcc And Presidency by McKren(m): 8:30pm On Feb 10, 2007
It is now down to how much of BigB1's family interest he is ready to protect. A man who has a history of pursuing political interests he belives in most times against the interest of his immediate family (Father / elder brother) it remains to be seen what his brotherhood with Buhari, IBB or Atiku will reap.

BigB1 I have told you this before and there is no escaping it through the back door and I will say it again. "The leftists have come to stay and you right wings cant stop us".
PoliticsRe: Nigeria-delta Crisis On Cnn by McKren(m): 9:36am On Feb 10, 2007
@Boli

Is the FG owing the Niger-Delta people any allocationshuhhuhhuhhuh Odili used Rivers allocation to set up Air line bussiness and you are suggesting that the whole Nigeria should implode because Niger-Delta leaders are depriving Niger-Delta people of basic amenities.
They should direct their course to the immediate government and trust me every other part of Nigeria will follow suit. They should leave foreigners alone. The idea behind foreigners is about the ransome involved. PERIOD!!!!!!!1
PoliticsRe: Buhari Is A Better Alternative To Yar'Adua by McKren(m): 9:27am On Feb 10, 2007
I don't agree with you. First, it was patriotism that drove him to sack the civilian government on account of their corruption, misgovernance et al
That in my view is double standards, Buhari's act then was patriotism but another officer doing it now is not patriotism. The truth is that if not for Buhari's act Nigeria's democracy would have grown and even the Ghana you talk about would not have been any match to us.

Unfortunately, the evil genius did not let his administration finish the job they set out to do.
IBB toppling Buhari's government is no crime cos he Buhari did not rise to power on the people's mandate his regime and that of every military government were illegal. But that of Buhari is even more illegal because he ousted a democratically elected government.

You talk about truncating democracy. What democracy? The type of democracy practised by Nigerian politicians is a lot different from the universally acclaimed democracy which is "the government of the people, by the people and for the people". When politicians asks for people's votes, they undertake to serve the people, and by so doing, are accountable to us. Can you tell me in all honesty that Nigerian politicians are truly subservient to the people? Unless you want to be economical with the truth, the answer is a resounding NO.
Good, our democracy is not one to be proud of but you got to understand that we have to groom it over time to strengthen it. Telling me because our democracy is not perfect we now allow a Buhari who has no clue what democracy is about to repair it is very laughable.

In summary I think there is double standards in all you are saying. Toppling the present Government is unacceptable but the one perpetrated by Buhari ishuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh That is not fair.
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Back In Power by McKren(m): 1:36am On Feb 10, 2007
@Iyke-D & arzorji

I totally agree with you guys
I will only defer a little with suggesting that with this mentality we will remain like this in the next 10years, I think even in 30years we will get no were thinking like this.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria-delta Crisis On Cnn by McKren(m): 12:45am On Feb 10, 2007
@Seun

The militants are currently overplaying their hand. They are bound to go too far sooner or later, the pretext the military have been waiting for. When it finally happens it won't be a contest. It will be called genocide.
I think that writer was only pointing out that the militants, who at the moment are feeling powerful, when overpwered will resort to propanganda because they can not sustain a full scale war against the Nigerian Army. They will now begin to claim the militants killed are un-armed young men going about their bussiness.

That comment to me does not advocate attack on civilian population.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Is A Better Alternative To Yar'Adua by McKren(m): 12:32am On Feb 10, 2007
@Abeem

That question was borne out of your justification of Buhari's coup which truncated democracy. His actions then cost this nation over 20years. He can not expect to benefit from a system he does not believe in. If we were living in a civilized society Buhari will be too ashamed to take part in our National debate let alone sick the people's vote.
