It has happened to numerous people from time to time. During my service year, I shared a lodge with another guy, after our weekly CDS, we slept at night with all our gadgets with us, but we woke up seeing the door net shocked with a stood, and all our smart phones is gone, they only left with me my plugged computer, but unplugged the phone I attached to it and the rest is story.

The worst seen about that is that the other guy slept under a mosquito net with his new Android phone carefully kept under the bed, but they still managed to turn him over to remove the phone.

We later found out the thieves was a relative of our landlady whom has earlier promised us they would you jazz to lure the person back. On getting to know it was one of their own. It just died down.

I never thought I could sleep that way without responding to movements within me. We were so confused.

I run comot for house as early as possible so that my neighbor will not visit me with Xmas food, came back home very late walking silently but to be heard or seen, last last na my neighbor hand I fall to, and she told me she's been waiting for me, i just beg her to allow me take the soft drink alone cos I don full tank for outside. Base on say I being good to them by buying them stuff during our own celebrations.

I only raged and left her place that night.

The rest is a story now anyway because she has already tasted another guy and of recent she started pinging me again.

It means where one craze stop, na where another craze start.

When I was doing my masters degree some years back, my laptop had fault. The screen went blank with constant beeping sound.. Went to a technician and they charged 5k. Weeks later, the same problem. Went again, they charged 5k again but bargained to 3k since I've been there before. I accused them of doing a bad job but they kept arguing I was the one that was rough handling the laptop. No problem , I paid and they fixed it. A month later, same problem but this time around I wasn't ready to spend another dime. After hours of research on YouTube, I dressed up, flagged a bike down and went to buy this multi screw driver set. Got back home and dismantled the laptop with the aid of YouTube. To my surprise, it was something petty I've been wasting money on lol. It was just a dislocated VLC wire from it's location. All you have to do is just fix it back into position and your laptop is as good as new..

Anyways, the worse of them are auto mechanics. Those ones will feed on your ignorance.

Are you sure of all of that? Because it takes a laptop repair expert to open and couple a laptop, not the other way round. You can only try ur short as a novice on desktop system cos it's easier to work on.

You might want to know where I'm coming from, I'm a computer engineer, so I'm talking from experiences. However, When ur system malfunction within a month of repairing it, you are not expected to pay a dime when you return it to the engineer.

Honestly, the best Lord over lands are those who don't share spaces with their tenants.

It gives self respect for the land lord himself and breathing space for the tenants.

I was determined to move out of my present house when the landlord son (a weed smokers) didn't give me a rest of mind out of envy. He once claimed he's in logger head with me because I'm a Muslim with a Christian girl friend who pays me visit on weekends. That amongst his excesses.

I was going to move out until the rest of the Landlord's daughters held a meeting that he should vacate the house because they received too much of complaint from other tenants. Hence I intends to use a year more.

Bottom line, some landlords or landladies can make tenants life miserable so also some tenants can drag owners spaces with them.

What is completely unacceptable is billing for zero consumption. EKEDC disconnected my house because I refused to pay the highly inflated October bill (10x what I used to pay at my former place) ₦150k. November I ran on generator and installed solar. Guess what? They still brought a bill of ₦161k as consumption for November. 3300+kwh! For a place occupied by two people who are only at home in the evenings and weekends.

Exactly one of my points, at what ground do they extract all those charges? Is it automatic Billings or they could read from their system. How do they expect people to happily pay for what they don't consume. Bro you still have alternatives to run your light, those who do not have these means can only look on.

Just owing my landlady six months rent and I promised to pay around October but i felt seriously sick few days to the time I gave her which made me spare some few cashes I had wanted to give her. I've been trying to sort else where cos I don't know what I could possibly say to her since I have defaulted the promise plus I don't like giving excuses. I was walking with some one along her shop last month and I had a face to face encounter with her, I felt so embarrassed as i was trying to greet her and she intentionally shuned me. Omo, it was like I have never being that embarrassed before. I just left without the person I was going with knowing whatsup.

We don't even know what is wrong with this new nepa boss, they bill exorbitantly and distribution of bill now starts around 16th to 18th.

About couple of months ago when I was tested for typhoid, I know how I went through hell, life became meaningless to me and I thought about death more than anything familiar, every night seemed like the last for me, as if I wouldn't make the next morning. We behave as if things are normal when we are healthy, when one fall sick and get well, then you get to know the privilege of staying healthy

As at 2017 when I finished service year, I was more eager to touch all manufacturing site on Ibadan, as well as contemplating whether to go to Lag with my Lagos base Paddi. Because the common believe by everyone is to go to Lag for a befitting job. I would spend my last penny going round Ibadan to check out my luck. Sometimes I will treck miles to ensure I touch every nooks and crannies and at times I feel ashamed working towards a place i was not invited to drop CV. As times passed by, my eagerness kept on fading as a result of not being called up from all the places av shared my CV. At the other hand I didn't want to move to lag without a reasonable certain amount of money because I wouldn't want to be a financial burden to a friend I would be staying with during the course of my job hunting. It is never an easy task for anyone to go on visiting work places where you are not sure invited. If you don't know who is who or who can use their influence to secure you a job, you will be thinking something else is wrong with you. I don't just know how we got here
