@OP, your uncle is wrong. If he doesn't want his wife to own properties he should then include her name in all the ones he has. We all know the typical Naija wahala where inlaws seize everything after their brothers demise. The only way to safeguard a wife you claim to love is give her part ownership in all you have. I know how terrible your aunt may have felt when her husband sidelined her. I hope the family has enough clout to get the man to return the docs. I also believe your aunt should continue to invest. But should have a discussion with hubby first (i.e. if he will see reason). You just cannot tell what may happen tomorrow.... 1 Like |

Awwwww, someone is trying to wriggle out here. Firstly do your own spiritual investigation. If your findings tally, just move on, dont force it. You may be saving yourself lots of tears in the future. Sometimes when you hear families fronting such excuses, it simply means you may be spiritually stronger than they can handle esp if their child is in their bondage because knowingly or not you have been destabilising them. @Op, the fact that you are asking this shows you are unsure of what your feeling on the subject is. So you have already failed before you started as the conviction isnt directly coming from you. Having said that, I would add that dating your age mate isn't wrong as long as you both love, respect and understand each other. I wouldn't naturally do it because I already look way older than my age and very few men in my age bracket suit me appearance-wise. Do what you really feel like doing, don't let societal norms and restrictions determine the course of your love life. Remember, to each his own. |

Agreed, the president has so disappointed us but that is not a good enough reason for name calling and insults. I'd rather appreciate a more constructive way of criticism. For those justifying the insults I ask this; does a parent being unable to meet the expectations of his child a good enough reason for the child to insult him/her? The president is the father of the nation and no matter how terribly he performs, he should not be blatantly insulted. Criticize? Yes! but bench the insults. Most of us will not agree. Just goes to show the home training we have. |
