You guys are just wasting your time, something tells me this girl will still choose to do whatever she chooses to do. My gut says she will abort that baby eventually. |
sagombugo: You will never fail to disappoint! Was it not the same IBB that GEJ called his mentor in politics and also went to visit prior the 2011 election for an endorsement?Chai! The wisest comment so far. In sun Tzu words " bring your friends close and your enemies closer". Am beginning to fear these APC guys they seem to have their strategy well planned. They mean business. Can't wait till 2015 election day, will be the first one in my polling booth to kick out the clueless one. We will never repeat the 2011 mistake. Spartaaaa! ![]() |
I feel your pain OP, i don't doubt your story because i have dated a girl like that in the past, we could never sit down to discuss issues. It was so bad that if i and my girl had a quarrel it was either her dad or her mum that would call to settle it eventually. They treat her like an egg and she didnt grow out of it, she was so pampered that her mum didnt teach her how to cook. Infact her mum calls me more than my girl and i wasn't happy with that level of family involvement at all. She was quite intelligent and a virgin i guess that was part of what gets into her head. At the end i had to let her go because i couldnt imagine coping with such in marriage. I think you should have worked on this issue at the courtship stage but its never too late, put your feet on the ground and tell all 3rd parties to mind their business. There are 3 major reasons most marriages crash Money, Sex and 3rd parties. Be Warned. |
UKWU by Timaya should be banned. Its like he just wanted to release an porn movie but needed to speak some jargons to make it sound like music. For Gods sake what is Ukwu? The guy was just rambling all through the song, i couldnt pick any word! ![]() |
awesome |
When will MTN, MULTICHOICE,STANBIC, ETC close shop and go home? The Nigerian business climate has been hostile before i was born so we don't need this story. There is something called "Adaptability to the local market" and that is what Woolworth has failed to do when they got here. |
...kindly advice me on what to do coz I'm confused!
Note the bolded, You are confused nothing we say can help you. Ole,Olojukokoro . If the footballer is arrested and jailed for drug trafficking today will you still love him? If he goes cripple or goes broke ,will you still have feelings? And you wanna settle for marriage...lol. Dont complain when your future husband also " enjoys watever he wanna enjoy out of small girls"]. Karma still remain a biatch! |
2ndChance: The reason is baseless actually........... as far as my home and marriage is concerned anyway. When you see a marriage having problem its either as a result of 3rd parties, sex or money. I hope your wife has learnt her lesson going forward. |
veave: wwwlord... and u were d one d@ threw ur girl out for almost the same reasons... I SMH for nigerian men...Dont mind the idio.t.a, someone who couldnt stand his girl banging a married man is here telling a girl to stoop to conquer. . @Poster please tell your sister to shine her eyes, the guy even seems manipulative, they aren't married yet but why is he buying properties in the girl's name? You think he cant change the name if your sister pisses him off? You dont know he is trying to hook her abi? Lol,its an overused thrick in playboys books. Madam chaircover the sage and chairperson of this section has also given her verdict, the case is closed. ![]() |
Gboliwe: lol. Thought you guys say 'age is just a number'? My dear sister(s), let us stay on topic. Give your advice and move on.Admit you goofed, you didnt read OP's case before you opened your loud mouth. @Poster there are many 16 year old boys on nairaland and ASUU isnt helping their matter, dont bring this kinda serious issue here again o. Thank God you didnt hear End time T ![]() |
they talk say i resemblu fashola ![]() |
dad007: Uhmmmm, you just remind me of myself...I found my lady on august, three months later we got married. My marriage is almost 4 yrs now,I am a happy man...Anyway,is not how long you stay in a relationship that really mata,I think is far,far more than that.Infact,in some cases, the longer the relationship, the less the apattit to tie the nod. Please,be prayerful, cus it takes the will of God to have a good wife,or a good husband. And less I forget,it takes a twinkle of a second for someone to feel the impact of a soulmate when he or she meet one.Yes it is possible. I have concluded that the quality of the courtship is more important than the quantity or length of time. Also, A strong foundation built on mutual trust and respect is much more important. |
Gboliwe: you need to grow up firstYou don't need to insult the OP if he is messing up its better to educate him. Its cos of members like you that people don't bring their issues to nairaland. |
Congrats Op, you seem to have a good girl on your hand and you have a lot working for you like she lives close to you and you know her best friend. That being said there is no timetable for marriage, you just know it and what works for A cant work for B. People can date for 3 months and they would have seen each other 30 times, while i know a couple who are getting married in December and have never seen each other at all though it sounds weird but don't be surprised if they succeed in their marriage. Just be prayerful, detach your emotions, forget her positives and focus on her negatives, can you live with them?. Move ahead whenever you are sure, if your mind says one year then go for one year. |
Nothing person no go see for nairaland, pls poster dont die o dont even know what to preach again ![]() |
Lord Nicvuitton: I'm yet to see wat made oduah a cheat here.. coscharis confirmed d price.. btw i just don't know why a particular tribe, d yorubas, use same yard stick to judge all igbos, resort to name callings, campaign of calumny, pure un diluted and un adultrated hatred and keep reminding igbos of d bitter past and daring us to do something albeit anything abt it.. to all peace loving yorubas, it's well but to all nairaland yoruba e warriors and igbo haters, u shuld know this; WAR IS ONLY DELIGHTFUL TO THOSE WHO HAVE HAD NO EXPERIENCE OF IT.. we keep watching and waiting!Shut up joor, is manwe a yoruba man?Mumu keeps chanting war songs as if its only your type that knows where to buy AK47? Nobody is after Stella because of her tribe,we all want Nigeria to get better. Stella told you yoruba's are after her and you believed it,same thing Ubah told Cosmas maduka to get maduka's money. Did you get any cut from stella's loot? NO and yet you can't see anything bad in what she did. What's yoruba got to do with this? If stella committed fraud let her be fired and sent to jail that's how your life can get better but you can allow injustice to thrive and remain backward forever. Choice is yours. |
Next headline i will probably see is "Ngige rapes the Pope's first daughter" or better still "Ngige caught on video with Boko Haram leader Shekau".......jobless people ![]() |
mz mariah: Hmmm.marriage is now beginning to scare me.lord have mercyHonestly i am also a bits scared of the marriage institution. All the recipe people give for having a successful home is never fool proof. Long term courtship, no sex before marriage, don't marry another religion or race, dont do live in couple, impregnate her before marriage bla bla bla and the list goes on. My conclusion is never expect so much from your other half, reduce your expectation as much as possible before getting married because they are human. |
Don't know what to say but this is a clear case of betrayal. This woman was actually planning for life without you. Your wife doesn't respect or fear you anymore, and you gave room for somethings you shouldn't have allowed. Let that priest feel the heat at the minimum and be watchful henceforth.........I have a very bad feeling about this something doesn't sound right. |
The guy must be one fool with some tiny stick in between his legs. He should have kept his mouth shut and do whatever he wanna do without adding to a sick woman's misery. I doubt this story though. |
vivianc: Is it not a shame how most of you are not being objective in this matter? Really a shame! This girl must really have some anger issues to deal with and i am not joking, see how she talks down on people. I fear for her guy,she has no courtesy at all. |
My best friend found himself in this man's shoes. Naive and rich guy who just got back from the UK was engaged to a pretty girl who had done abortions at age 20, very pretty girl and a good actress at that, told the guy several lies to cover up stuffs. I guess the guy fell for her looks. Few weeks to their wedding this greedy girl went to say goodbye to one of her sugar daddies and was caught . The girl and her family begged, she wept profusely asking for forgiveness, she told the guy about her past escapades and the fact that she has aborted. The guy couldn't take it,he was completely broken and that was the end. My advice for runs girls who have repented and are ready to settle down is to HINT THEIR GUY ABOUT THEIR PAST WITHOUT GOING INTO THE GORY DETAILS, don't take the risk of allowing the guy to find out,Nigerians talk a lot. And people should stop this idea of saying everyone has a past, its like a visa to live recklessly, Not all women are whores and some past do have serious consequence |
This Obiano guy seems to be bleaching his skin, that's irritating and a put off in my Opinion. |
Ted Cruz is an omo-ale,the likes who will bring down the glory of america. He had better be neutered before its too late and the joker wants to contest for the presidency? I guess the Tea party makes up the majority of american voters? Idiot |
So the likes of stanford, harvard, oxford,IESE,MIT etc will close shop abi? dream well sir |
@Poster, you made some good arguments but you are overstretching the truth and scaring people unnecessarily . I guess you are also posting from the US and haven't relocated to Nigeria yet?. I know 3 families who ran back to the US and Canada after living in lagos for 6 months. They were also complaining like you e.g. Canada is too cold, america is too racist .If america is that bad for you why are you staying put? .I have lived in most of the countries and cities you mentioned,i currently shuttle between US and Lagos. I need to address some of the issues you raised and people should judge if i am lying.1. About blacks in The US:There is something wrong with the psyche of an average black american, they are the one putting a lid on themselves in most cases.I often see many Nigerians travel to the US to get masters, within 4 years they are way ahead of their black american neighbors. Many blacks live on social security, they don't go to school, quick money etc but Nigerians are hustlers. I still insist that the problems with black Americans is beyond racism, their minds haven't broken away from the slavery era and that's why they can be so defensive. They are the first to scream racism. I bet you haven't dated an average akata girl before you will understand what i am saying. But Many are also doing good. 2. About Racism. Mr man every country has its own palava. The equivalent of racism in Nigeria is uncountable. Untill OBJ in 2001, you cant go far in the Nigerian military if you were not hausa or fulani. things were even worst for my Igbo brothers, it was like the rest of the country havent fully forgiven them. What about private companies? Take the case of Fidelitybank where you have mostly Igbos or Wemabank where you have Yorubas. Can you point to the number of Igbo people doing fine in Wemabank?. Is it not in Nigeria that Fashola deport beggars to their home states?. Let me ask you a question? which one will you prefer between having a white guy calling you monkey(It doesnt stick) or having the barrel of a gun stuck on your chin by thugs during 3rd mainland traffic snarl? What about the Justice system in Lagos that is so messed up. If you dial 911 in Lagos, will you even get the police to attend to you without greasing their palms? ![]() 3. About Auctions.... Am really mad about this one because i often buy cars from auctions. You need to do your search again because your arguments are off key. For example, in New Jersey you have cars sold with the green and red light. If you buy a car with the green light you can always return it. Many Americans also sell their cars in auctions to get quick cash not because of damages or accidents. Most Americans don't buy cars from auctions because Car loans are too available. Its only Nigerians that have cash to dole out on cars. Its Nigerians that corrupt everything, some will buy cars and change the mileage when it lands in Lagos. The auction system itself its not crooked. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET 4. About Getting Help from Nigerian Neighbors: It depends on many factors, where do you live, your attitude etc. Where i stay in a quiet neighbourhood in Bowie, Maryland, I always have Nigerian kids at my place, the Nigerian neighbors also return the favor if we are going out. You need to see the love people get during naming and wedding ceremonies. YES nobody will allow you to sit at home and do nothing but that doesn't mean people wont help you in times of need if you are a good person. 5. About Mortgages: Its a choice bro, nobody can force you to rack up debts. A little training in personal finance will make credit handling a cakewalk. Do you want to build a mansion in ikorodu or mushin where land is cheap in Nigeria but have robbers and flood disturb you 24/7 or own a 3 bed apartment in a good neighborhood in the US while paying $800 monthly over 20 years? .Mind you, the lagos property market is one of the most expensive in the world,to add insult to injury the mortgage system in Nigeria is dead. Owning a home is a luxury for many. 6. Pictures of American Slums: Please note that 60% of Lagos,Nigeria is also slum because the towns were either not planned at all or poorly planned with no buffer for future population growths. If you have a moderate job in the US you can live decently, Its a matter of choice. For example I cant live in Bronx or Manhattan in New York . Even some of the American slums you showed us have well tarred roads while such highbrow areas like Magodo, Lekki phase 1, etc still have some untarred streets till date This is my conclusion, there is no green pasture anywhere. Every country has its ups and down but dont discourage people from going to the US if you wont relocate back to Iyana Ipaja . Sorry but Nigeria is not livable for many at the moment because nothing is working but With careful planning, hardwork and prayer people can earn a living easily in the US. |
JesusAmbassador: W-O-N-D-E-R-S!!!This is plain silly, who did Bamidele olumilua bury in office?, what about Bode george? these were past governors of Ondo state. Lets just allow the dead to rest. Nigerians are so full of superstitions and its an evidence of our mental laziness. |
@OP Don't be her I.dio.t,if you were my younger brother,I will smack you . Even if she didn't want to date you,she culdnt return your call once to keep your friendship line open abi? A girl dumped you and followed another dude who has prolly banged her well b4 dumping her yet ur still talking about flaming love, you must be watching too much nollywood. Wen she said she came for you,she is only speaking in womanese the language of female players. You can't take what women say too serious, their actions are more important than words. That girl doesn't respect you and a precedent has been set already. She will always treat u like thrash weneva the chance arises. I wuld have expected a smart guy to welcome her with some good bang and play along but u wanna drop your loyal girl for this player? Where is my cane? ![]() |
bennysucre: honestly,i dont know anymore. bin trying to purge myself of the thoughts lilke u said n av failed woefully. this thing happened wen i was like 7 or 8,to thnk i still remember evrytin now after sooooo many years is annoying.i know il never forget it ever,i cant help it. i pray i find the liver to talk to her about it soon.Bro at 7 or 8 you were fully grown naa and she didn't expect you to know? even I still tell my folks about events that happened at age 3,events they thot i never knew anything about. You have what I call a photographic memory cos I have same too. Pple like us remember events to the minutest details. |
@Bro am sorry for your pain, life sometimes deal us different hands. My advice will be to call your mum and sister for a meeting where you can open up on whatever happened. That woman has hurt you really bad and you need some form of closure. Don't expect her to confess just tell her you know what happened and you've forgiven her irrespective of what happened. Forget about who gave birth to who,it won't resolve anything it will only tear your family apart. If paternity questions disturb you just see yourself as an orphan born in a motherless home yet life doesn't stop for them, they usually succeed if they want to. |
chai, and na me dey chop, kpomo pass |

The guy was just rambling all through the song, i couldnt pick any word!
