this is scary,so where do we look for redemption becos its like we have crowned ACN with sainthood just because of the expoits of one man named fashola.

Fellow NL, its obvious every nigerian want the govt to reduce its excesses and one would have expected the so called progressive opposition parties(ACN/CPC) to be at the forefront of the cuts of these jumbo pays and allowances but they've been quiet about it. Does it mean they are all thesame? Can the opposition redeem Nigeria or are they serving their pockets? What is the proof that things will be different if they take power?

Kindly note that i am not a PDP apologist , infact i campaigned for Buhari in the last election but this question begs answers because herein lies a clue to what Nigeria may face in the future.

I didnt vote Jonathan in the last election but the guy is showing himself politically smarter than i thot.

He wont impose SOE outrightly on the affected states because he will ostracise himself from his political allies, However when the bombs fails to stop all of you led by one Tunde Bakare will march to the National assembly to force them to push him to put a blanket order on all the states Just like you did in the yaradua days. With this he can still maintain his rapport with his allies in those states when the boko haram wahala ends. Whether this move will be of full security benefit i dont know but i pray it will.

With this move any right thinking northern leader had better talk to their rascals, cos the USA and NATO will step in  to support Jonathan if the north resists the forthcoming blanket state of emergency.

Even though i be serious christian, let the churches be taxed abeg, at least their members park on state govt repaired roads on sundays among several amenities they use without paying, especially with wealthy pastors parading around in the midst of so much poverty and deceit. I just got back from Canada on both business trip and holiday and i feel like encouraging the guys here. I was in Toronto, Montreal and Calgary for a while, these are like 3 diff regions, so i can chip in one or two things

I have been following this thread even though i wasn't going for study, just love seeing Nigerians making good suggestions and helping each other

I want all of you complaining about the stress and time you have to wait to plsss stop, because studying in Canada is one of the best choices you will ever make in your life . Its a country with happy people, who look forward to seeing you.  Honestly if i were a student and am being told to wait a year, i wont mind as far as i am given the visa. Infact i once met some Americans from Ohio who are planning to relocate to Canada. I vote for a study in Canada for the ff reasons

1. Blessed with Natural resources, oil and many more so it is self sufficient.
2. Good and responsible government.
3. Shielded by the USA from massive illegal immigration so crime is reduced (No Mexican gangs and drug fights).
4. For the religious its better than the UK because u are free even to build a Buddha temple.
5. Genuinely happy people, happiness can prolong your life. They respect you , the racism nonsense is almost zero
6. You get job easily after graduation, you can become a citizen in some cases after 3 years, you know the rest.
7. Don't be scared about the cold, its enjoyable with warm clothing besides most houses have heaters. And if cold wahala too much you can move to more moderate areas like Vancouver and Toronto.
8. They don't poke nose like the USA,hence no single bomb threat.

The truth of the matter is that if your application is full proof, you have a 90% chance of getting your visa, i don't believe its much about praying,fasting without good preparation. Magic wont just work. I also want to appeal that if you feel you aren't fully prepared for them, don't apply wait for the right time. And that time will come if you work harder in nija. I was denied a US student visa 4 times about 15 years back but at the moment i can tell you that no consulate ever refuses me a visa. So timing and preparation is crucial, if you have doubts in your mind about your application please investigate it well and see what remedy u can provide.

These people have seen your country and they know what their country offer in exchange, so my dear they are never in a hurry to answer you . It can be a test of patience but its worth the waiting. If money is not a problem i will advise the use of those established agencies for application, because they would have put your documents thru the first phase of screening,thereby making the consular job easier. Agencies don't guaranty visas but any visa officer seeing such application is happier knowing that his job has been half done.

I hold a top position in a company and i got this new secretary who reports to me and has spent some weeks with my company.

The problem is she has a big sexy Bottom. I am not joking about this. Most days she wears tight skirts which she always adjusts whenever she is in front of me. Now she has reasons to stand in front of me an average of 6 times a day? My attention is always drawn to this and i would have been tempted if not for the fear of God and the fact that i can never date a colleague i will rather resign. I am single and she is single.

My question is should i tell her i am no longer comfortable about her dressing?  How do i do this without hurting her because i have a feeling the girl has a clean mind and respect me, i took her up on some lapses last week which almost got her a query, if i pick up this issue now wont she think i hate her? How do i correct her inappropriate dressing and manners without destroying her self esteem?
