Its my first time of cooking egusi soup, I added everthing and then came the scary moment of adding salt which I did to my utmost suprise tasted just ok, with smiles I opened my two cubes of star maggi and then closed the pot for a moment and afterwards opened it to taste it only to sense extreme salty soup....is the maggi guilty or am I trying to lay the blame on maggi??

mine, native= Emeka English= Alex, my surname is superb, e get swag and its a head turner, I get attention just b'cos of it,.

I found out that most people prefer their English name to their native names. A friend of mine have been hiding his native name for all the while that I've known him, he prefers to be called Martins instead of Chukwuezugo. And again people has started adding swags in their name, I thought it used to be martin and not martins, fidelia not fidel, Elizabeth and not lizzy or liz, micheal not mikel, etc. I know I love my native name but most people don't, but some names are funny though, like OLANIYI(yoruba) in igbo it means Spoilt person, etc.
Are you happy with the name your parents recognized you with the moment they set their eyes on you?.

chronologically: I write poems(still perfecting the art), I can draw(it fulfills me), I'm a management science student but friends and family calls me engineer(dnt really enjoy it, it makes me think and think and think...), make friends easily and in no time they will look up at me as their role model. I read peoples mind and actions and sometimes predict things(it rarely happens, but it does happen), I'm good with money(lived on 5k a mnth back in my yr one) and I think alot before doing things(rarely gets into trouble) and I have a good sense of humour have a weird retentive memory(can remember last convo, even if na 20yrs, once I see you it keeps rushing back, and I dnt miss remind them, its fun)...still realizing more of my talents. Thank you God!

Nairaland have been my pal right from 2009 when I registered, I should say that it has improved my sense of humour, sarcasm, knowledge on basic facts, word usage...et cetera. romance sections makes the jokes section an epic failure...really loving the guys over there!!!

Used my camera phone once to record a fight in my off campus lodge....later showed it to both fighting gladiators....
