Reason the Igbos are envious and bitter about the relative peace in our Yoruba states.
The Igbos see evil, they support it, it becomes hydra headed, they start to gripe, blaming the FG for the evil they nurture in their backyards. If the other tribes chook mouth on their mounting violence, they will respond with insufferable abuse and curse.
Therefore, na dere toro, let dem find solution for it. |

Better to advice your home state governor to initiate and complete good projects one by one with the state resources he has in his hands. If he does that, your people will have no need to run from your backwater state to Lagos and Abuja. Lagos is doing well by all econometric measures in respect to projects implementation. Face your own state. |

Christianity, religion and God is an embarrassing human practice of convincing the mind to ignore common sense, logic, reason and evidence while blindly believing in ancient fairy tales. It encourages it’s followers to value faith over facts and reality. It makes it’s followers proud instead of being ashamed of their ignorance.
So there is nothing about spirituality, then what happens to the human spirit after death? |

If we southerners allowed this at the beginning, and westerners started their own, hating Igbos like the way Igbos are doing others, where would they be running to live today?if lefeleferendum is conducted today, na then u go know say ibos are crying, regretting and gnashing teeth silently, but lack courage to say it . they will either vote against secession or they will vote for succession, and leave the whole east b4 the announcement of referendum results are announced Leave East or Igboland to go where? Kukutente23: Yeah. I'm sure only APC's lawyers are smart enough to know the law and how to apply it while others are simply dummies. Come to think of it. How come it's only APC that's usually the beneficiary of cancelled votes and over-voting and they are never caught on the wrong side of it. I'm yet to see any APC candidate especially gov who was booted out of office for rigging votes or ballot box stuffing like this case. APC even had someone who came fourth jump to first on account of valid votes not counted which were rejected by INEC. It's either APC are so meticulous in their preparations or they've learned to game the system. I mean, consider the probability of finding 166k votes in an election of almost 2m votes in 14 days if you're not already sure of its existence. I mean how many hands you'll need to sort through ballot papers in that time frame between announcement of results and approaching the courts. In any case, I still wonder if the votes cast does not exceed accredited votes, why you'll invalidate votes just because an adhoc staff did not sign. It smirks of mischief if you ask me and makes a joke of BVAS but what do I know about making laws. With all your electoral and legal observations here, you are already a Lawyer. Bravo, our newest Barrister in town. |
Travel › Re: UK: 10 Things You Will Miss About Nigeria When You JAPA by membranus: 9:03pm On Sep 20, 2023 |
Eriokanmi: Most of them aren't true.
food There's a woman whom a friend used to take me to eat at her place, around Greenwich library in the UK, where we would go and eat amala. We'd come all the way from thamesmead to eat there. I've also eaten poundo yam there with Malta Guinness to take it down. Likewise in Chicago, at Aurora area. There's a woman who sells gari, isu, elubo, ogbono, worowo and other soup ingredients. A friend had taken me there before to buy gari and soup ingredients. You'd never miss home if you know your way. At a place called nazareth, near texas prison, a friend had taken me to one igbo woman where we went to eat eba with ofe nsala.
Christmas No country in Europe celebrates Christmas more than the UK. They'd decorate their streets with beautiful lights and all, more than what we see in Nigeria. Christmas is much more celebrated over there than here in Nigeria.
Church You can still worship on a Sunday in any church of choice if you like. Only naija go japa finish and forget all these...and be working on Sundays cos of money. They hardly socialise...it's money,.money and money yet, they still don't get that money. You'd see an oyinbo who drives refuse truck and still be visiting Disneyland with his family in US. Our people can work all year round , ki lo deeeh
Fiendlines/friendship/social life If you're the type who loves keeping friends, you can still be ok. But money they chase all about doesn't allow many to socialise. My friend in brooklyn had missed his bus stop many times cos he always slept off once he entered the train. Na work, work and work. How can he have time to socialise in all these or go to church? Na paki dey go mosque pass for UK. You hardly see our people to visit mosque and pray on a Friday. I was my neighbours Best friend back in the days in Buffalo, up state NY. It all depends on yourself. Our people hardly see thehr neighbours. Isę ni kura
Family support This even increases as people know your level don change. Demands would keep I.ceeasing You said it is a lie, but you are only corroborating what he wrote about a Nigerian life in UK, except maybe for the food matter. |

Nothing spectacular about the state development in this his outgoing tenure: >Akure, the capital city is dirty, >no working traffic control system, > no single overhead bridge, even though the capital city needs at least 3. >the youths are suffering, no work. No major employment opportunities offered them since he came in, >major road projects undertaken by him are yet to be finished after 3 to 4 years after, >disruption in the major highway by placing huge dividers on the road, >the state secretariat dilapidated, >no economic advancement experienced by the civil servants under him, >empowerment of his political cronies to loot the state, his wife and son being the chief looters.

Jokes Etc › Fake Iphone by membranus(op): 7:56am On Sep 19, 2023 |
So on the bus today, someone brought out a real iPhone 14 pro max and was offering to sell it to my friend for 75k last. He said his mother was in the hospital and they needed 75k for the surgery which was why he needed the exact amount. Since he mentioned 75k, my friend started pricing it for 50k. To buy was hungrying him. I collected it and checked. Everything is working fine. The screen of the phone had the seller's picture as Screen saver. I told my friend that the phone could be stolen. He said even though it is, he would flash it and change the casing or resell it immediately. That is how my friend paid o. Through transfer. Despite my warning. I was just holding the phone and looking at it in shock. At a point I wished it was me that bought it. But kai. 50k for iPhone 14? No na. No amount of desperation would make me sell for 50k. We alighted from the bus and waved at the man who said he was rushing to the hospital to begin the process of the surgery with the money. My friend and I sat down under a tree to look at the phone he had bought again. While pressing the phone, it turned off. The screen could not turn on again. We felt it was battery so we decided to find a place to charge it. Suddenly, the screen turned on again. We started seeing the screen showing. "Searching..." The search icon stayed for like 2 minutes rotating like planet Earth.🤣🤣🤣🤣 Then it switched to...... ⁰ "Tracking... Tracking... Tracking..." PI was the one holding the phone at that moment. I quickly gave my friend his phone to hold first. He didn't collect it again. He said I should hold it. I didn't understand anymore. So I shouted at him. "Bros collect your phone na." "Shey you dey hold am. Just dey hold am de go na. Make e track finish." "Track who?" "The thing e dey track?" "Which thing? Oga hold your phone." "Calm down na. We no know wetin e the track. Shey I dey here na. Hold am. Maybe e dey track network?" "Hiaaann... Let it continue tracking network in your hand abeg. Hold your phone biko." I shoved the phone in his pocket and continued began to walk home. Suddenly from behind my friend shouted and ran past me. I joined him to run. While running I was asking him. "Kelechi? Why are you running?" Kelechi shouted back. "The phone show location found." "Which location?" "I no know o. Maybe na our location." I was still running right with Kelechi when I saw that he was running with the phone in his hand. I turned back silently and started running left. Left was a bush. I didn't mind. I kept following it and running for my life. Only for me to turn back and see Kelechi following me behind with the phone still in his hand. …………… #Copied‼️ |

Bewitched idiot. Our brothers pick pockets and yet much better than your own brothers who are touts, armed robbers and burglars.
A nonentity yet, your whole life is controlled by the same people.
An slowpoke that you are, who does not even realize that the phone in your hand is sold by them.
The building materials used to build that your one room is sold by them. The plumbing materials, the same. Boxers covering that your okro sized penis, sold by them. The electricals/electronics you use, the same. Cooking utensils to cook that your dirty food, the same. Spare parts and vehicles to convey that your stinking sef, sold by them. The drugs to save you from dying, sold by them.
Where have you found the guts to speak against people who absolutely dominate your life? Jealousy kee you there.
Certainly you must resemble an agama lizard. Wrong narrative from top to bottom. Let's start with the fact that most Igbo businesses across Nigeria are mostly retails, and not manufacturing. Igbos are not the only ones selling phones; across Nigeria individual tribesmen are the ones selling the greater percentage of the product. Same with building materials they are not the Dangote and BUA manufacturing it. Neither are they the foreign owned Niger Steels and Co's manufacturing the steel rods. The other products you mentioned, like wears, electronics, spare parts and drugs, other tribes also sell them, and manufacture them more than the Igbos. So stop chestbeating here, the five richest Nigerians, Igbos are not even among them. |
