Politics will mess him up. Let him just remain a businessman.

Remember MKO Abiola.
That is the disadvantage of no history class in schools, if MKO Abiola didn't go swimming in the murky waters of politics, I bet he did still be alive competing with Dangote to develop Nigeria's economy

I will be highly disappointed if when this refinery starts operation there is no documentary on the making of it, from sand filling to trading operations.

Imagine this report not a single picture of the site is included.

Maybe it's because history is outdated in Nigeria.

The first law of the land said, "Thou shalt have no other God before me". And the apostles proclaimed Jesus as God which to the unbelieving Jewish authorities, was against the law.

That nonsense that woman in SA is requesting for, was that part of the law in SA?
You don't even know what you are arguing, so the "Jewish authorities" that made the "first law" you quoted were unbelievers?
If you say proclaiming "Jesus as God" amounts to challenging the "first law" was that law changed?

Go and refresh your mind with the OP, understand the law that setup the commission and its job description.

See the response of Peter and John after they were threatened by the authorities, that they shouldn't speak in the name of Jesus...

Acts 4:18-20
"So they called the apostles back in and commanded them never again to speak or teach in the name of Jesus.

But Peter and John replied, “Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than him?

We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard.”

The apostles were addressing council men, the rulers and elders of the people.
Don't forget the crux of this discussion: "challenging the law or constitution of a country by early Christians."

The passage you quoted, was that part of the law in Israel?

Asking questions and answering them yourself... well, no probs, if that makes you happy.

The decree to worship king Nebuchadnezzar's idol at the sound of the trumpet, in the days of Shadrach Meshack and Abednego; was it from God? Did the three Hebrew boys accept the decree or did they challenge it? What was the end result?

What about the laws against conversation which some are pushing for, and which they have christined "religious freedom"; it that also from God?
It's like you didn't understand the part of the question meant for you to answer, and failure to answer that shows the "early Christians" didn't challenge any law or legislation.

@bolded, are those whom you referred to as "early Christians?"

I believe you will understand what is meant by "religious freedom" if/when you travel to Malaysia, Singapore, Jakarta or Saudi Arabia.

The earlier christians realize that they can challenge existing ungodly laws, the better. Yes, they can do so legally.
Hahahahahahahahaha

The constitution of a country is not the commandments of the Bible; which ungodly law was challenged?
Is it the law that instituted slavery?

Did the early Christians challenge the law that commanded stoning for "blasphemy?" If yes, why was Stephen stoned to death.

Is there any law in the bible against: drug trafficking, gun running, money laundering, human trafficking, poaching, domestic violence, environmental pollution?

There is nothing like ungodly law in any constitution if you say inhuman laws, I may agree; but then laws are made by men for men and revised/updated with time.

Ameachi, Muazu, Esther Nnamdi, Peter Obi and Mo Abudu who were all linked in one way or the other have all issued statement to the press distancing themselves from the money. Christianity EtcRe: God's Will Has Been Activated. by menxer: 9:51pm On Apr 18, 2017
Well, will comes into effect if/when the testator dies and remains dead.

If a testator died and resurrects automatically there is a stay of action on the execution of the will, because a testator does not execute his own will.

A will or testament is a legal document by which a person, the testator, expresses his or her wishes as to how his or her property is to be distributed at death, and names one or more persons, the executor, to manage the estate until its final distribution. For the devolution of property not disposed of by will, see inheritance and intestacy.

Though it has at times been thought that a "will" was historically limited to real property while "testament" applies only to dispositions of personal property (thus giving rise to the popular title of the document as "Last Will and Testament" ), the historical records show that the terms have been used interchangeably.[1] Thus, the word "will" validly applies to both personal and real property. A will may also create a testamentary trust that is effective only after the death of the testator.

Words From the angry mob/thief during Christ crucification
"You save others From death, why can't you save yourself " guess you would have asked same question

His ways are not ours. Even his disciples all died painful death when they themselves saved others From it.

Another thing I would want to look at is the hypocritical nature in the way people present the way prayers are answered. I observed that people say that after prayer, you must work hard for it to come to pass huh. If that be the case, then it means that one eventually end up working it out. If indeed you could work it out, why pray in the first place? because it now happens that with or without prayers one must work. So what makes prayer special? What I see are people achieving things that are humanly possible and then attributing their success to prayers. Most of the things sheeples give testimonies about are things that can be replicated by utilising apt knowledge and hard work.

Sheeples are fond of saying "God is not a magician". When they say that, they are using it to escape their inability to believe in the awesome miraculous even though they profess that God is capable of all things. If I may ask, what will you call the separation of the red sea? What will you call Elijah's calling down of fire? What will your call raising of the dead? What will call walking on water? How about an axe head floating? All are miraculous workings that are magical.

Believe me if the story of Moses and the separation of the red sea was not written in the bible and any sheeple was sincere enough to pray to God to separate any of our water bodies in Nigeria for him to pass, many sheeples and their men of God would say things like "don't test God", "God has provided a boat for you", "work it out and build a boat after all, your aim is to cross. God is not a magician." bloody hypocrites angry we have one bible but yet different denominations. I am getting tired of religion and the sheeples.

Johnydon22, hopefulLandlord, donffd, HardMirror, Otemanuduno and other christians in the house.
The thing is, any super human or super natural event or act done in church or recorded in the bible is a miracle, if done or recorded elsewhere, it is magic.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Christians Love Kidding Themselves? by menxer: 7:07am On Apr 18, 2017
Ayomivic:
Christianity is not about miracles but about faith in the words of God.

God is not human, he does not think the way we think. Op, let me ask you this ,can you tell us why things happened to people death ,sicknesses and all such of calamities? Don't tell me you don't know
. OK let me tell you some reasons God may not answer prayers

1 His Will ; what brings about what you asked was the bible quote that God said" whatever we ask from him according to his Will he would do it ".you made one point that you yourself does not notice and what was that thing? His will . if it is the will of God that something should done prayer may not be effective in that aspect . for instance It has been written that Christ would suffered and died on the cross that was the will of God even when Jesus praid that the cup should passed him but the will of God should be done. The Will of God was done

2 The purpose of Prayer. We all knows that God did not created us in such a way that we cannot die or fall sick or that calamities can not befall us .he knows we can fall sick that was why he created Herbs for the use of mankind and gave knowledge to make medicine and tp solve some problems by ourselves. Why are you calling God on a problem he has given you power over?

3 faith and Righteous: who are you to call on God, does God know you? Do you have ssomething that entice him to listen to your command? . God must know you to be obedient son before you can say I can raise the death because people believe that God does not listen to sinner. And without Faith you can't performe miracles

4 God knows more than man; some time what we say is wrong may be perfect in the sight of God and what we say is perfect may be wrong in the sight of God, the bible says " the righteous is take away before evil day" who knows if the evil days is coming all we human can see is that he die and we don't want him to depart but God that see into the future knows what is right .

5Christians are not worshiping God because of miracle. We Christians do not serve God for miracles .we know that this place is a training ground ,we are just passing through here to our abode .

6 the God eyes watch over his children: if calamities befell Christians . the first thing to do is self examination. Ask yourself what have I done wrong ? Have I sin? If your mind clean then what you are facing is temptation. Some temptation are temporary some are everlasting .Jesus's temptation was temporary, Job's temptation was temporary but hard .hope you don't forgot the time God gave Abraham son ( Isaac) Paul said he has thorn in his flesh and he had prayed over it but God said his grace is sufficient for him .That of Paul is live time temptation but it does not take faith away from him.

7 God do answer prayer. If you know him ,trust him, obey him. You will see wonder you we performs wander God is working like the olding days it we that does not serve God like the holding days.
@bolded, makes nonsense of your argument, if/when a sickness is God's will, why take medication or pray for healing? Meaning taking medication or praying to recover from illnesses is working to nullify the will of God?

Why pray for a child if/when it is the will of God for that couple to be barren?

This admits that God's will is not sacrosanct and can be nullified by a drug, in the case of a sickness, which stands logic on its head.

Make una leave martha for Mattias.

Judas was and is a hero.

Any goal scorer knows he needs someone to lay the pass, and Judas was that man.

Today, Easter Sunday, Jesus is celebrated, and just as in champions league, we celebrate only the goal scorer.

If the mission was to save the world, Jesus needed someone to help bring it to reality, Judas was the man, his right hand man.
Christianity EtcRe: Putting Together The Books Of Scripture And Calling It The Bible As A Whole by menxer:
Whatever you read in the bible was/is a product of emperor Constantine's political ambition in connivance with Eusebius' Jewish religious literary genius to win the support of the "Christians" in his military and by extension the Roman Empire cum world.

Christianity as we have it is an admixture of Mithraism of ancient Rome, Judaism and bits and pieces of other religious beliefs.

That is a 13 billion Naira question.

Organized Religion would have made more sense if, like science, the knowledge contained therein is allowed to evolve and is upgraded as we advance.

Right now, it's like one having water in ice form and is commanded that that is the only form one must know water, and must be kept that way in that form, yet one's freewill wants to know that water in its liquid or vapor form and the processes pertaining thereto.

Fact one : Abraham gave tithes to Melchizedek. When he knew that he was a priest of the Most High.

Fact two: Abraham regularly gave offerings to strangers. A habit that led to his barren wife being able to conceive.

I am saying tithing is an open secret to attract supernatural blessings.

Giving to those in need is also equally powerful.

I also also proved that it it's origins predate the establishment of Judaism nor Christianity.

If you have anything to disprove this please present your argument.

If not have a nice day.#follow who know road.
... But Fact one was a one off event and it wasn't his own money or property, so how can that become an example for all time for all men to follow?

Lol @Malachi 3:10, you guys are caged , read your bible, no you won't, this tithe thing caused issues in my house , I said It is not biblical to give it to a pastor ,
I said my Bible said I should give it to the fatherless , the widow , the stranger , that I shouldn't forsake the levites if I see one (deut 14: 22 to 29)
My wife was arguing with me, then I asked her a question, why were you not able to buy a car 5 years working in a Bank before I met you ? And me that don't pay bought you car and gave you a driver and changes it every time ?

I asked again How come my business prospered from a very very very small beginning in 2011 to head office in Lekki, and branches in Surulere, Maitama and PH?

I told her to give to the needy and see what God will do for her,
Bible repeatedly said Give , Give Give to who? The needy,

That's why a Muslim man is the richest black man on earth pls think and think , do not be deceived,
Pay your offering and feed the needy then see what God will do for you
Your submission defeats the "aims and objectives" of opening and running a church in the Nigerian context.
