doveda:You are right and so are those boys that want to remain boys, it's their headache too. There is a beauty that never fades: beautiful character. |
What use are farming implements to one that doesn't know how to or have the strength for farm work celebrating his new implements, with weed overgrown farmland with no food, compared to the one that borrowed implements to work his farm and have enough food? |
Pidggin:Hahahahaha If only you knew that government is a continum. There is a campaign to minimize policy somersault by governments which I bet you are not aware. Did GEJ throw away bankable policies made by previous administrations? |
After taking time to read all the comments I realized the message of the OP is lost on many. I doubt OP is against female education but the mentality of the graduate ladies investing so much in finding "financially ok guy" to settle down with above all else, which I believe is what he observed in his environment. Times are changing and we all need our mind sets to be reoriented and recalibrated to reflect better ways of adapting and dealing with the reality of the present, which is the primary purpose of education. |
I still have 100 of them and I can mention their names. Is that the total he had swanked or those concurrently on board? If it's the totality of his swanked list, it's not worth mentioning, as I lost count when I passed that milestone with my non-celebrity status |
The dictionary is not fixed that new words can't be added or new meanings given to old ones. Besides different meanings can be given to a word by simply adding a prefix or suffix. If Nigerians choose to "disvirgin" their ladies and the Europeans choose to "deflower" theirs, what's the big deal as long as they understand what they are talking about.

3. The Senate President believes he will have his day in the court to prove his innocence of the charges preferred against him during the trial proper. How is this different from what we have been saying? If Saraki knew this why waste time running from court to court looking for injunction? |
That response is epic. ![]() Hahahahahahahahaha |
That's 23,306 vacancies for employing our youths wasted by greedy corrupt officials. |
That number 3 is the reason why we are the way we're are today. |
Mynd44:It's called a milestone, meaning if 30000 mw is the destination we still have some miles to cover, at least it's better to drive in gear 1 than in neutral. ![]() |
The price of iphone is not commensurate with the depth of "functionality" in its closed ecosystem. ...still rocking my Z10. |
OrlandoOwoh:Media trial is covered on Facebook, Twitter, Nairaland, etc while public trial is broadcasted by NTA, AIT, Channels, etc. ![]() Hahahahahaha |
All things works together for good, let's congratulate the Supreme Court for judgement passed and the winners irrespective of our "painment" and sentiment and move on for there is work to be done; we can't afford to allow painment to cloud our sense of duty. There will always be another election to win. |
omofunaab:You would be surprise if those Governors fail to meet expectations, PMB would still be blamed. My prayer is the Governors make a positive difference in our lives irrespective of party colour. |
Kayendy:I thought APC lost in Abia, I never knew it was APGA? ![]() |
I use whatsapp and would gladly have paid to use it, because I keep wondering how do they make the money to stay in business when it's given free? |
Those are vampire rats. |
I doubt if any country had/has followed the advice of the western countries and become developed economically or otherwise. Which countries advised Nigeria to take IMF loan? Which countries advised Nigeria to abort the Ajoakuta steel project? |
From Russia with love. ![]() |
Finally, however, to clear your doubts, cover letters can also sometimes be used as application letters. I hope this helps. That says it all. |
OP thanks for reminding us of the stupendous beauty beyond the clouds |
This is another proof that the best things in life doesn't have a price tag. |
gists:That's Niger Delta for you, cutting off their noses to spite others |
mrphysics:Life is more than physical observables. I take it the sarcasm was lost on you. You don't have to be an atheist to reason outside the confines of your religion. |
sarutobie:Hahahaha It's easier for you to accept the concept of your spiritual self and heaven than the concept of multiverse. SMH |
mrphysics:Then it is safe to say angels and spirits are assumptions. |
I believe there is life else where in the universe, though it may not be according to our definition of life. It would be absurd for man to be the only living being in the universe of a zillion stars (suns) and planets. If it's normal to see a person that resembles you, it's possible there is a planet that resembles earth, though in both cases the occurrence maybe far apart. if we use Jesus' analogy: the galaxies being the mansions of God and the earth is just a room in one of the mansions. There is no way we can discuss life in other parts of the universe without touching the spiritual or metaphysical as physical science alone is not enough to explain the complexity of the cosmos. What if there are other forms of life in bodies too subtle for our comprehension? |
GlitzG:He is right, I just received a mail to that effect within the hour. |
This is a one of a kind post. I had always known there is a high level conspiracy to keep ASCL moribund this report has confirmed all I imagined. To me the reason why our leaders have allowed themselves and by extension Nigeria to be so manipulated by the West is because they can't see the place of Nigeria in the BIG picture. I won't be surprised if on investigation a similar fate is reported about ALSCON in Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom state. We as a nation is penny wise, pound foolish. A masochist would always gravitate towards a sadist, no matter what. |
The last time, all his attempts to revive the economy was thwarted by a coup, this time around there won't be any coup to abort the change he brings in spite of the economic slump. Nobody can say if he would have succeeded the last time or would fail this time till 2019. By PMB I stand In Nigeria still I believe |
There is no news that sells like Bad news, just like sex, that is why news like this doesn't get much attention. If only people would see her action for what it stands for and let it sink in. The wind of change is blowing strong. |
