shortIGBOman: See this one. That Soldier you are seeing is a weapon himself, even without carrying a Rifle. A Nigerian Army is trained to have the strength of about 20 people. He has trained in physical combat. Like Boxing, Judo, Karate etc
When a Nigerian Army fight two or Ten Civilians, he will be punished severely in the Barracks. But when he fight 20 or more, he will be hailed. Cause he fought the combination of his strength
Yinmu! They run helter skelter when their armed patrol come face to face with armed bandits.

cocolacec: THE DE-YORUBANIZATION AGENDA OF YORUBALAND
The agenda of "so-called" fellow southerners most especially many south easterners in the de-yorubanization of Lagos and other Yoruba spaces is real and not a conspiracy theory. This agenda is the same as the Fulanization agenda, only the methodology is different.
Starting from Nnamdi Azikwe and Jaja Nwachukwu, the rhetorics of no man's land was popularized by this duo in order to turn Yorubaland into a settler colony politically and economically. This allegations are historically correct and factual, if not why would an Igbo man from Onitsha be plotting on how to become the prime minister of Yorubaland right after before independence. That was why Chief Obafemi Awolowo fought against siting of the capital of Nigeria in Lagos.
All intellectual discourse to properly educate this diabolical folks about the history of Lagos as a colony,as a capital and as a state has fallen on the deaf ears of many of this deluded individuals who hide their expansionist hegemony under the Nigerian identity while spreading historical falsehoods in order to destroy the indigenous right of the Yoruba people in those places.
One of their main point is to tell Yoruba people from other Yoruba speaking cities and towns that they do not have the right to participate in Lagos politics because of the state structures of the fraudulent Nigerian contraption.
A Yoruba man is Yoruba man in any Yoruba spaces and territories across west Africa no Fulani, Igbo, Hausa, Ijaw etc. have the right to tell the Yoruba people what he can do or not do in our spaces, politically, economically and militarily.
Another madness being displayed by this people is to start analysis of of Yorubaland politics by saying "South West, excluding Lagos"? As a patriotic Yoruba citizen you will start asking yourself why any mentally stable individual will utter such rhetoric. Is it possible to say South South excluding Rivers!!! South East excluding Imo !!! North west excluding Kano!!
It is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf why Southern Nigeria republic is impossible and why wholesome southern unity is a mirage. If the Fulanis utter such profanities we will bring out our guns to vilify and crucify them but some Igbos want to come on social media platforms to tell the Yoruba Nation to separate Lagos from the Yoruba future politically and economically? It is the highest form of blasphemy against the indigenous Yoruba people in those places and spaces.
The most important thing to any nationalist is history, Land and power, on these three pillars rest the survival and preservation of their nation. Anybody who continually attacks those pillars directly or indirectly is orchestrating the destruction of the indigenous people. This is a wake up call to all Yoruba nationalists that the full Yorubanization of our spaces and lands is a must with every means necessary across west Africa.
I am Yoruba first and last. Think Yoruba First. No apologies.
Maxymilliano: And how are the brainless supporters different from angry mobs that lynched the young lady in Sokoto for alleged blasphemy
Ibo christian and fulani muslim are no different. They both use religion as cover for their bloodthirsty cultures.
Every little insult or offense, Iboman will pull machette and say God appeared and told him to butcher the offender.
Same with fulani. Somebody in Denmark draw picture of God. Fulani will say christians in Nigeria blasphemed God and transfer his aggression over issue in Denmark, shed people blood all over Kano.

When I saw your caption I thought this fire is burning entire area from Apongbon through Olowogbowo to Balogun to Breadfruit, through Broad street to Abibu Oki, Martins, to Customs, Marina through Tinubu then to CMS.
Be careful, Apongbon and CMS are not same spot. This fire is just in one location.
Kingkum: This man talks too much, common sense should have let him know that candidates can be submitted but later substituted if he likes it not.
ok, what if the submitted person later step down that he is not interested in the post again, will the position be vacant?
there will only be problem if the person initially submitted refuse to step down, that is where inec will come in, but as of now, the DEPENDENT NATIONAL ELECTORAL COMMISIOO should keep quiet.
i'm OBIdient
Very good question. Running mates can be replaced under following situations.
1. The nominee withdraws interest and steps down.
2. Nominee is incapacitated by health condition - terminal illness, mental illness, long term physical injury/hospitalization.
3. Death.
We have a new social situation that needs to be captured into the exceptions, and that is in case of a kidnap by bandits. Kidnapping is a new reality and we should make allowances. If a presidential candidate or his running mate..or both are kidnapped, the person does not meet any of three positions above but has suffered significant distress that can hamper their status and, should their ticket win, image as a President-In-Waiting. Any candidate or running mate that becomes victim of kidnap should be disqualified even if they were to regain freedom.
Because their retirement pay is insufficient to keep up with their acquired and drama-filled lifestyle. Pocket is no longer full. So they need somewhere still full of drama but wont break their pocket. Nigeria is very dramatic but less demanding on the dollar, thats why they come here.
makemoneywbsite: Why are Yoruba always promoting bad candidates for Nigeria? Would they do the same if they have their own country or is it because Nigeria belongs to no one so they do not mind the inept, the corrupt and the crooked that would help in stealing and wasting the country's resources, especially since these resources are not in Yorubaland?
Akintola over Awolowo, Olu Falae over Obasanjo, Tinubu over Osinbajo?
It seems their intention is always the more tribal or the more incompetent or the more corrupt.
May Nigeria be free....
Abeg I'm supporting Peter Obi for president. What I've learnt is never to support anyone Yoruba are promoting, Not all Yoruba sha, the Afonja among them.
God bless real Yoruba that want Nigeria to progress May the Afonja like that MURIC man never succeed
Get lost! Left to me I would propose Peter Fayose to represent Yoruba in the race for Nigerian Presidency. You don't deserve people like Osinbajo, Akinwunmi and so on to contest for headship of a shit hole when international bodies exist for them to exhibit their civilized values amongst evolved humans.
Cable has made its own independent verification and claims it is fake on two grounds.
1. No credible news media published it.
Well, in modern times news media is a fluid term. Many truths happen in social media and are credible reports even when not covered by a traditional news publisher. This argument from cable is weak.
2. They contacted Sanusi who denied making such statement.
Where is proof they contacted Sanusi and got a denial? Anyone can claim they contacted Sanusi. Can they not? This is also a weak refutal.
The whole fact check itself was not done using a credible method.
MrCGPA: The fact remains that Tinubu is dangling in Serious Dilemma believe it or not. Whether he decided to Use a Christian or Muslim Vice is a Problem. If he Chooses a Muslim in this Current Nigeria that Killing because of Blasphemy is trending, CAN will blow hot and he will be loosing vote from some critical States.
On the other hand, if he Chooses a Christian, some Core Northern Muslim People will feel Islam isn't represented in his government since they see Yoruba Muslim as not a complete Believer but an unbeliever(Arne).
APC is at the Bream of Collapsing in winning 2023 presidential election if you tell yourself the truth.
Arewa does not decide the basis of belief. The Quran does, and Arewa is not the Quran.
I can tolerate Obi dealing with indecision about VP to pick considering everything happened for him in quick pace.
I cannot tolerate Tinubu not having a pick. He has had ambition to be President in APC since 2015. He knew this time must come when he would pick a VP. Why is he pussy-footing around? Moreover, he selected a muslim for place holder, why not a christian? It says the direction he will go eventually. For him, the place holder is a smoke screen to pacify and drain off the anti muslim/muslim public noise.
Maxymilliano: Don't blame the politicians but the voters who willingly to sell their conscience for pittance
This is APC candidate, Abiodun Oyebanji, caught in the act of greasing the palms of an electorate.
You wouldn't expect her to vote somebody else, would you ?
It's a shame and a disgrace. They use Awolowo's name to deceive, swindle people. They claim to be disciples of Baba Awolowo, even wear his symbolic hat on their head but act in ways Awo would never approve.
patriotic007: Us should make sure A credible leader takes charge of Nigeria if not Nigeria will collapse.......this is our last chance to make this country work
It's a two way approach. But first, this lady is promoting INDIRECT RULE, the way it was done by colonists. Use a single powerful authority at top to control the many population spread. Use Nigeria to achieve your goal in Africa.
1. US will never allow Nigeria to have a credible leader or that Nigeria should have stability. Credibility & stability for Nigeria will significantly improve social society and translate to better life for the common people. Who will want to go settle abroad if home is comfortable? If people dont migrate imagine the losses to foreign embassies' earnings. The economic impact will be massive. Because Nigerians will prefer to stay in Nigeria, the population of Nigerians abroad will drop and remittance from abroad to people home will also drop. Another financial impact to the foreign economy. It is in foreign governments interest that Nigeria remain chaotic and directionless.
2. Any innovative idea about dividing Nigeria is a direct economic and political attack to the bottomline of foreign governments and they will never allow it. Foreign governments are the ones propping up One Nigeria. Anytime a agitation appears to be gaining upper hand they fret and worry that Nigeria will go under...and they intervene.
plaindealer: You are entitles to your flawed and misguided opinion.
You are the one with flawed and misguided knowledge on the Omoluabi principle. Let me school you.
Omoluabi is a creed and a pillar of culture. Tinubu is bowing in service, Omoluabi did not ask us to serve other humans. It indulges us to honor, to respect.
When Tinubu is in presence of nobility in Yoruba he talks to them as if they are mates, regardless of their seniority to him in age.
When he meets fulani he bows in service. Freaks like you come online and display it as Omoluabi. Stop denegrating our culture.
Serve fulani if you want to, bendover for an impalement of the derriere if it suits you but stop stamping omoluabi on that.
Show me a single image of Tinubu bowing like this to another Yoruba...or Ibo senior to him.
I have three different images of Tinubu almost kissing the ground to a fulani.
We have not forgotten him going to a sheik in Bauchi and offering his bare head for a blessing rub. Even fulanis dont respect each other this much. A fulani will never open his head for another fulani to rub for blessing.
Here is pic...is this omoluabi too? Tell your oga to serve them however it pleases him but please do us favor and not label it omoluabi.
.Kalu, who spoke while answering questions from reporters at the Senate, said it would be politically naive for Tinubu, a minority Muslim from the South-West, to choose a minority Christian from the North as his running mate.
I will respond on this later. Going to a meeting shortly.
This is a mouthful and this short quote is loaded with a lot of interpretations. It deserves a response.
IniAkpanMorgan: All I can see in the Osinbajo/Tinubu saga, is the sacrifice Governor Kayode Fayemi paid to contribute to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu winning the APC Presidential Primaries. Governor John Kayode Fayemi was one among whom some APC leaders asked Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to pick as Vice President, when the issue of the Muslim/Muslim ticket came up in December 2014.
Asiwaju's wife, Remi, with Governor Fayemi were those suggested to the Asiwaju for adoption but he refused. He had insisted, and took Professor Yemi Osinbajo to President Buhari as his replacement as Vice President.
As it stood, when Governor Fayemi stood down from the Presidential race for Bola Tinubu, he made a moral statement of trust in his declaration. He reminded everyone that both the Asiwaju and himself were in battle the 0trenches of NADECO, fighting for our democracy together! Governor Fayemi saw the Asiwaju as an older brother, a mentor, and a great leader who could do more for Nigerians than he could. It was so touching...!
Governor Fayemi respected the Asiwaju's age by accepting that he still has his own chances in the future. He surrendered his delegates to the Asiwaju. At that point, I cannot tell how many Nigerians, who followed that event, expected Prof Yemi Osinbajo to do the same, but he did not.
The Holy Book admonishes says that "he, who has not yet girded on his armour (meaning he who is preparing to go to war), should not boast more than he, who has hung up his own armour (he who has returned from war and has removed, and hung up his armour).
A close observation of Bayo Onanuga's regret for bringing Prof Osinbajo into the Asiwaju political cabinet, and his apology for thwarting the chance of Barr Bayo Oriola, imputes Bola Tinubu with a debt of apology he owes to Governor Kayode Fayemi. It became a season of regrets and apologies around Asiwaju Tinubu's relationships with Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
I read about how Bayo Onanuga, Asiwaju's Media Chief, apologised to a Commisioner-in-waiting under Tinubu's 'consideration, who failed to become Asiwaju Bola Tinubu's Attorney General in the cabinet he constituted over Lagos State. Mr Onanuga apologised because he regretted introducing Prof Osinbajo to his principal, who appointed him his Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice.
My question is: would Asiwaju Bola Tinubu be justified to see Prof Yemi Osinbajo in the same light as his media manager sees him? If he does, in any way, and by any chance, I think he should apologise to Governor John Kayode Fayemi, for choosing Prof Yemi Osinbajo over him, when he nominated Prof Yemi Osinbajo as President Buhari's Vice President.
Indeed! Ambition is made of sterner stuff!!
The phrase "no permanent enemies in politics" should be referenced here. In politics, double-crossings and shifts in loyalty should be expected. These people will soon meet at an owambe and negotiate a new arrangement that melts away the dissapointments and anger.
.Leading former state officials and members of the party into APC in Ado-Ekiti, Chairman of Labour Party, Engr. Banji Omotoso said the party were attracted by the pedigree, quality and personality of the standard dollar-notes.
Buhari endorsed Tinubu, like he did everyone else that visited and announced their candidacy for APC flag bearer, but he did not support Tinubu....or put another way, Tinubu was not Buhari's preference.
Tinubu won without backing of presidency. However, he will need presidency and the party to stand behind him for the next competition.
I am sure Abubakar Malami will need a political immunity to shield him from numerous law suits and even political witchhunt. His baggage is Buhari's baggage. I am positive Malami will be one of the persons Buhari is going to offer for VP. Whether he gets it or not is another thing and Im sure Fashola, Akeredolu and Osinbajo will all oppose Malami as a pair for Tinubu.
Fashola, Akeredolu and Osinbajo are all SANs. It is rare for SANs to oppose their own one but Mallami has been identified as a quota SAN and incompetent to represent anyone in court much more to be a lawyer for the country.
