Its your turn to contest for President then die like Kingibe former running mate MKO Abiola.
That is what he means.
Even Fayose have warned Tinubu with that open letter he wrote to him recently.
Tinubu will not go and enjoy his retirement benefits of which is the whole Lagos State wealth, he want to add the whole Nigeria into it
He forgot that we came with nothing to this world, we then fight for everything and at the end we leave with nothing.
Great Grand Pa wey no wan give him self peace of mind.

babasolution: The Yoruba will not be in power for a minimum of 16years if tinubu fails to win the presidency in 2023.
This condition is very crucial for the Yoruba nation and Yoruba survival.
The Yorubas should think deeply and decide.
Yorubas are in a make or break, make or mar moment in history You are exhibiting a deficit in your Omoluabi. Yoruba can exist and survive and thrive without Nigeria. Nigeria is the one in need of Yoruba, not the other way as your input suggests. Yoruba can have a President, it doesn't need Nigeria for that....but greed and depravation of principled and disciplined leadership is our obstacle. |

My friend only a very few people back then had paid employment .
Every other person was a farmer.
At best you had freeloading Yoruba imams who were full time mosque custodians .
So this nonsense that it was directed to only farmers is trash because back then, everyone was a farmer.
Awolowo rolled out that mandatory and free education policy to see to it that your Yaribabza ancestors got an education so that they won't be a nuisance in future.
Free and mandatory education in western Nigeria was meant to civilize the Yaribabza Muslim . Were your ancestors in Igbo delta muslims? Awolowo educated them under the free education scheme. |

Even the apc chairman announced a consensus candidate, see the way Northern governors rallied round tinubu, I just tire for this igbo matter. Tinubu has demonstrated leadership this week by visiting opponents to get support. Even if Ibo did not come, the future national leader should embrace them like a father to son. |

LegendHero: Thank you for the congratulations. I also support Yoruba nation. But while we are waiting for it, we will still live and strategize for the present.
Bi a ba n'wa owo lo ta pade iyi lona, that is still good.
IF Tinubu win in 2023, all he needs to do to instill confidence is to restructure this country. First we need that state police to pass, that is the starting point. I have seen some of his manifesto, I am waiting him to release the official one and we will take it from there.
If my believe in him before is 80%, now I give him 100% loyalty. I believe he will shake the structure of this nation (you know what I mean), and believe he will make a great president for ALL.
Lastly, the Northern governors surprise me and make a fool of the history we know. I salute them for threading a different path and I also salute the Yorubas in APC for not repeating the mistakes of our past political leaders.
TO Muhammadu Buhari, I do not know his heart, but I thank him for allowing fair primaries, even Asiwaju himself said that Buhari have made him a better man in his victory speech. absoluteSuccess: Well said sir, a Tinubu presidency is a great chance to overhaul the architecture of the entity called Nigeria. The Hausa have given the country a good head in the right direction rooting for the south.
With Tinubu, technocrats have it. He's not going to be hoarding money again when it's not a contest for "Olodumare" lurking in the future. If his house has been a "Mecca" to the needy, it's time to alleviate the poverty with prosperity intent policy for the country.
The politics of our time is capitalist driven, unlike the days of the fathers, such as Awo of blessed memory: there's no government made for the poor, no government is coming to save the poor, just rise and be a problem solver.
As to Yoruba nation, I've been through some challenges in the recent that shows you don't run away from every of your enemies, rather, you outsmart them. You stay in the problem and solve the problem while in it.
You are in this world to liberate yourself from poverty, don't transfer the process to any government, find ways and believe you are good enough and deserving the results. Grow your capacity to succeed.
By that, you are changing the pa capita naratives of the country from your side of the country. That's as good as one person per time. With such, a good era is ushered in on the entire polity.
By and by, with security comes peace. With peace comes prosperity. You can't be working against peace and be clamouring for prosperity. A problematic Nigeria can never give birth to a prosperous Yoruba nation. Brothers, first I say happy Sunday. My well wishes and sincerity of heart to you both. Moghalu made an observation few days ago and said he lost primary due to collapse of values and a mindset that worships money. I asked to know if this value he said had collapsed was the Igbo value, the Hausa/fulani value, the Yoruba value, or any of the other multitude indigeneous values. We know Nigeria is not a culture or rooted value, what we survive on is individual ethnic values, they are the ethos that guide our interaction and relationships as well outlook into life. None us was raised in our upbringing with a Nigerian value. So the dynamics of the value system is inconsistent, there is no uniformity, it is random and unorganized. This is the dilemma of Nigeria at the top. It is not the goodness or competence in the candidate, the Nigerian dynamics is what makes it impossible for leadership to succeed. Tinubu can never understand and live the Hausa/fulani value, or the Igbo value. The only value he can live from the top is Yoruba value. His value is going to come in conflict with those who cannot also understand Yoruba value. The conflict builds grievances that obstruct proper carriage of duties of leadership and will soon turn an otherwise excellent policy and agenda into a stalemate and disruptions. The person Tinubu that you know in Lagos will be changed and soon begin to have his wants denied soon after he is sworn in as President. It is not Tinubu that will rule Nigeria, it is the disruptive and non-uniformity of the dynamic order that has ruled Nigeria since 1910 which will continue to dominate leadership. The colonists went through hell trying to hold it together. They lost a lot in lives and resource. They finally admitted it was not possible to govern Nigeria as it was organized, hence they acknowledged in 1957 the independence of the regions. The thriving regional government was ruined by the center. A centrally organized Nigeria is a disaster. Everyone must go their separate ways. Tinubu will not be given the capacity to overrule the North but he will be used to bring end to unrest in SE, which cannot happen without considerable loss of lives. He will also be used to kill agitation for Yorubaland. If you doubt what I say recall Tinubu actions and public utterances since 2007 to date. Most important, I want you all to know that even Obasanjo, a war veteran, successful military general, known for his brutish and no nonsense approach failed to overrule the North, much as he tried...they stood together to tell him where Nigerian Constitution stopped and Fulani cultural dominance began. In the end he yielded. The Northern governors are being celebrated today as the vanguards of transparency that opposed Buhari and Adamu from imposing a winner. No one has asked why that act should not rightly have been the role and tactics in the hands of Southern governors...or more pointedly, Yoruba governors? Were Yoruba governors blind and couldnt see what Northern govs saw? Why their inaction at a time it mattered most to save one of their own? If Tinubu is there today because of intervention from North, then it wouldn't be long before the pro Tinubu today drop their APC flag and pick their Yoruba Nation flag up again. What angers me is our lack of principle. We only dramatize call for Yoruba Nation when the center opens heat on us. Soon as it cools we are back promoting One Nigeria. |

GreyLaw: In all of this, Osinbajo was the most betrayed. I doubt he would have gone ahead to stand for the primaries if Buhari had not at some point given him the go ahead.
Buhari stays aloof in almost everything, except in appointing his kinsmen to office, and most of those he appointed are incompetent and thieves. I have never seen such a man before. True. In terms of prospects, Osinbajo was the most sellable around the country. He is baggage-free. |

Furthermore, he is not exactly young so he won't be following BAT same way Sanwoolu is doing.
Finally, there is a lot of underground work to be done in South West. Trust that Baba Akande, Baba Osoba, Chief Pius Akinyelure and other Senior Party Leaders are spearheading this.
Speaker Gbaja is No 4 citizen, he won't exactly be following BAT around.
Alhaji Lai Mohamed was at the primaries, but I don't think he is as close to BAT as before.
As far Malami, he is preparing the Cabal's hand over notes. Your head dey there my brother. Malami better go abroad after Buhari. People will come for his head. |

Many people commenting missed a crucial point Okorocha observed and raised with Tinubu.
In his entourage to go visit an Igbo politician he came with Yorubas and Fulanis. Igbo is not represented in the entourage. He therefore implore Tinubu to carry Igbo along in his campaign. A very critical issue and worthy concern.
Even though Tinubu is not depending on SE to win, he must still demonstrate inclusion and have Igbo alongside him on public appearances. He is trying to be what Buhari was not....therefore he must not sideline Igbo. |

As much as the OSUs are just one step above feral apes, you must be guided that sound leadership from Awolowo in seeing the potent future danger of an uneducated radical islamist population in Yoruba land, led to him doing the needful by making education compulsory to all since it was only the Yoruba Muslims that were resisting western education like their masters up north.
Can you tell me why the then majority Yoruba traditionalists embraced western education but your Muslim ancestors refused it until being compelled by state laws to receive an education ?
Just thank Awo for saving your future from Yoruba Muslim terrorists and leave the osus out of this. Stop talking just because you have organs of speech. Free primary education was initiated because of farmers, not anything to do with religion. We have pictures of your naked Eastern ancestors in delta and asaba standing inline to be enrolled under the Western free education scheme. Were your blokos swinging ancestors muslims also? Let me know if you would like to see and pick the head of your clan from the line up. Yoruba that practice Islam were already writing and reading ahead of colonists introducing reading and writing into Yorubaland. The language in which the book was written is what differed. |

Biodun556: Ok
My comments is for those who want the North to present a Christian.
When it was Buhari, Tinubu made sacrifice and present Osinbajo, a Christian. Now it's a Muslim from Yoruba land let us allow Northerners to make their choice. Point of correction. Tinubu did not make any sacrifice. To make sacrifice, there has to be intent and will to forgo. If you forgo something because you face obstacle thats no sacrifice. He was made, involuntarily, to abdicate his ambition. Osinbajo was an afterthought, not the design. Now, to talk about North. the christians of North are minorities and left alone to the theatrics of Northern politics, they stand no chance of getting the slot. So an over-riding interest is needed to intervene. NWC in APC must act to balance the pairing in interest of diversity. The example of Yakubu Gowon is a uniques one, he was an outlier of the Northern interest for three reasons. 1. In heirarchy he was highest ranking Northern soldier. 2. His parents settled in Zaria, he was raised there and went to elite schools alongside children of elite Northern power brokers. 3. In the North, population of christian soldiers doubled muslim soldiers. The muslim North risked facing double mutiny if they did to Gowon what they did yo Shodipe. |

If a Northern christian becomes Nigerian president in future, and the slot of the vice belongs to south east, will the Ibos allow ibo Muslim to represent them as the vice president? Civilization get level. Ibos are yet to evolve in their social order and accept diversity in human cohabitation. A backward race. |

Awolowo, the premier of the western region was a Christian
Deputy premier, Ladoke Akintola, was a Christian

Kollyman: Dear Patriots,
The recent dramas in the political space seems to have distracted us from the issues at the front burner.
Based on the current political structure of Nigeria , non of the candidates currently contesting can deliver Nigeria from the hands of the generational demons that have held her hostage.
It doesn't matter who wins, the principalities will continue to hold the nation hostage as they are in all spheres of the Nation.
The only way out is to insist on restructuring even before election so that each region can grow at their own pace without anyone drawing backward.
Take a clue from the insecurity in the Nation and the gruesome killing in Owo where it was alleged that Chopper dropped food items for the attackers. Have you bothered to ask yourself the possibility of that happening successfully without the hand of the power brokers in it?
Also, an alleged attack of a village in Kaduna last sunday shooting from the Chopper is another thing you need to consider its possibilities without the hands of these people. Same way the attackers named Bandits are having a filled day killing people across Benue, Platue, Taraba, Zamfara, Katsina, Sokoto, Kaduna to mention but a few. The people supporting them are still in power and the government can do them nothing!
The best way out is for each region to have its executive, legislative and judicial structures , their police and intelligence forces, generate and distribute power, refine its oil and process its gas etc.
The structure of the current entity called Nigeria can never work ill respective of who is the president. We need to insist on restructuring for Nigeria to move forward.
Happy democracy day! Independence is answer, restructuring is obsolete and Nigeria expiration happened long ago, its stench has now become a biohazard that endanger lives. Bury Nigeria and raise new thriving Nations. Yoruba Nation on my mind! |

We will keep you in our prayers I have said it many times, I am repeating it here now. It is degenerative for the Yoruba gene to mix blood with Ibo. We are a superior race. Everytime there is Yoruba/Ibo reproduction we do your gene favor and implant in the reproduced life a percentage nobility and thrive on the Darwinian scale. That life attains a sense of being and social identity far richer than would have been the case if it was produced with a 0% Yoruba. A fraction, just a quarter of Yoruba gene is enough to project a mixed Ibo into better dynamics amongst compatriots bred in Iboland. The best dynamics for Yoruba blood is Yoruba/Yoruba. This may sound tribalist but it is worth reflecting on since in the spirit of open discussion this OP had asked for serious and critical inputs. If you ask for honest input in Nairaland you will get more than you bargained for. Sometimes we keep politically correct...until provoked. |

The two bolds are keywords in Moghalu's statement. I wonder if he would make this statement if he had won. It seems when people win they are immuned to the social problems. They only acknowledge there is problem when they loose. I have few questions for Dr Moghalu, or anyone here in the house. 1. How do we fix "collapse of values"? 2.
