Congrats to the mother! Ihedioha is not new in politics. What has he done for Imo since his public service started? Any scorecard? |
Ok so this one was in 2016 and they just got sentenced. Why does it take so long? Thats miscarriage of justice. Anyway, these eight are not the same as the five caught in March robbing Bureau de Change. These are the criminals from March - Chimuanya Emmanuel Ozoh, Benjamin Nwachukwu Ajah, Kingsley Ikenna Ngoka, Tochukwu Leonard Alisi and Chile Micah Ndunagu. Can't Nigeria petition for them to be deported to face trial here at home, instead of on a foreign soil? |

May her soul rest in peace. Very sad! |

In collaboration with Missing Link he designed the Lagos 4th Mainland Bridge. Check out his global reach across many continents. http://www.nleworks.com/case/4th-mainland-bridge-masterplan/

Olu20090:They fought over it because they had no historical education on Lagos Stock Exc hange. They lost the suit because the building did not belong to Ojukwu. ACB, called Ibo bank, was a Yoruba bank sold to Azikiwe, its name was Tinubu Investments. Its original building is still standing on Broad street, though renovated. The business was sold, not the building. Just because Ojukwu headed Stock 3 change does not make him owner of the institution founded by Yorubas or the building it occupied. |
Olu20090:You said no government contracts and no oil. Abiola money had those. ![]() Whichever way you want to takeit, Sir Ojukwu was the richest Iboman, but not the richest Nigerian or African in his era, or any era. Fajemirokun was the richest self made man in Nigeria in that time frame. He was succeeded by Dantata, and then Fernandez. |
OGHENAOGIE:I thought he was the best political dribbler, the most intellig e nt and strategic politician of our time. "Tried his best" is not good enough consolation. Someone described as far more politically relevant than Jagaban should win....not try his best! ![]() Yeah, no shame in loosing but Saraki loss is a shameful one. |
Kingspin:He put Edo State where political relevance matters. Thats a huge success factor. |
funmijoyb:Yorubas and Hausa/Fulanis are only ones backing Oshiomhole, forget about Edos. Ibos have bullied them and successfully shut them up, going far back into the 60s. |
Olu20090:Just because vanguard reported the news does not make it true. Many Nigerian newspapers also report e d that Ojukwu o w ned rolls royce, the lie has been deb u nked. Name the building Ojukwu donated to Lagos Stock Exchange. Every building of history in Lagos has a name. I know this because im an indigene of Lagos and there is no aged building in the CBD i dont know or cant talk about, historically. |
Olu20090:I will give you three. Henry Fajemirokun. Sanusi Dantata Deinde Fernandez |
To the person that said "patent the excavator"....Excavator is already patented. If the boy used a new and unknown methodology to accomplish the task then he can patent that new method. That does not dismiss the fact he might have an ingenuity in solving social and technological challenges, and in that case he should receive support as a gifted child. Another person asked to know what has become of mavericks like this in past. Sponsorship is not automatic, the person will be tested to demonstrate their know how. If a person isnt able to solve test challenges they might not advance further. For those that advanced you might want to use FOIA to query Ministry of Science & Technolofy to divulge the info. To the FOIA advocates, this is where FOIA is useful...not in forcing Lagos Government to reveal if Ambode's mother is muslim or christian or Sango adherent. |
Oddsman:Blame that on Nigerian modelling culture. We believe make up is what beautifies. So we take someone of natural beauty and symmetry, hide the nature underneath an overcoat of oils and cakes and try to resculpt artificial beauty from the mask. The resulting shine of blue, red, green, purple and black is what we now redefine as beauty. That is just "eye candy", and not beauty. No one in our modeling sector goes to school and study the principles of balance and aesthetics....a required knowledge in body modelling. |

MyGeneration:You are correct nwafor! No mind the deniers. |
duncun: nwannem kedu maka gini? |
Congratulations to your sister and your family! |
Herdsmen:Ibos have shrine in their homes dedicated to his anointing and worship. They must mention him everyday so their day can end successfully. ![]() |
Mbediogu:I like guys that know their stuffs and are passionate about it and the facts sorrounding it. Johnie knows his stuff, I salute him! I dont think he is rewriting history but I believe some aspects are mixed up with position in the timelines. Nonetheless, Mrs Kuti was a quiet woman but very resourceful. She was not in public face but she bent public to take notice and yield to her advocacy. |
tuniski:Lol.. ![]() I think you got things mixed up. There are two impacts to him. 1. His position as CJN is an appointment. He can resign from that no problem. If he resigns as CJN he can return to sitting as a Justice of the Supreme Court until he retires and draw his retirement benefits. 2. His career as a lawyer is also on the line and CCT has ruled to sack him from public service. This means his legal career has ended and because he was involutarily terminated he is not entitled to get any service benefit. The plead is for "dictator Buhari" to dictate against the constitution and allow "our son" to take early retirement so he can get benefits and service honor. You cretins opened all kinds of threads in nairaland to abuse Buhari and also abuse SW calling Yoruba betrayers because we refuse to support your embezzling son. Now you are on knees begging dictator to act and violate constitution. What an @ss--le you all are. We are justified for mocking your humility and lack of shame. Suck it up! ![]() |
Xisnin:I agree, everywhere else, YES! Aji se bi Oyo laari, Oyo ii se bi Baba eni kokan! Oyo, the unpredictable, it leads others follow! If it did not shock you that Ajimobi, head of Oyo APC, is asking for a stake in Makinde's rule....I wonder why that of Akala is a concern. |
NaMeAboki:Buhari has been hounded by same people for interfering in Judiciary and Legislature, they want him to focus in his Executive role and not cross limits. I wonder why they couldnt go beg Saraki to intervene. Is Saraki powerless now, after all the brags? Im surprised SS is begging President to violate the lines that separate Executive from Judiciary and tell Judiciary what to do. I trust Baba go slow!...hin go just shake their hands take smiling selfie with them and go back to his slow motion. . |
tuniski:The joke is on SS governors! Beggars for dictatorial orders from above. ![]() |
tuniski:When SS governors commanded Onnoghen to dishonor court summons didnt BMO warn that the action could create conflict of interest and jeopardize Onnoghen's chances with law? |
Xisnin:Oyo politics is the true center and incubator of "political intrigues". Dont try to understand Oyo politics. Just read what they say, nod head and wish them luck. Did you not read that even Ajimobi is angling for representation in Makinde Administration? Just nod to it and move on. When the intrigues fail a lot of people will be beheaded, and then they start a new negotiation. If that fail more people loose their heads before new negotiations. This is Oyo. ![]() |
alhassanyusuf29:I am yet to see anybody won a court case when backed by support from SE. Not even during GEJ whose administration was flooded with Ibos. If im ever under EFCC scrutiny my first action will be to buy center page in major newspapers and put an Ad in bold "SE, THANKS, I CAN MANAGE THIS TRIAL ALONE". Otherwise they will hijack ownership of the case and get me locked up as we see with Onnoghen, poor man, he wnt along ad danced to their tunes. At one point they even told him to defy court and not show up for a Court summons....and he sure failed to show up. Now they are begging... |
iammo: ![]() They want to be in everybodys space but cant tolerate others commenting on Ibo topic. Is there any rule in Nairaland that forbids non ibo commenting on ibo topics? Nyamiri and delusion! |
MyGeneration:I am Igbo. I support this brother. He speaks truth. |
