He needs his provisional licence to book a theory test and a "pass" theory test certificate to book a driving test. AirBay: Hello house,
A friend of mine has been in UK for 2years but he never applied for DL. Recently he applied for an international DL in Nigeria.
Can he go for the theory test straight away or he needs to apply for the provisional licence first? He has years of driving experience on his Nigerian licence. |

1. You should be able to but you might need to explain why it is different from your husband's address. 2. An explanation might suffice. Ladybit: Pls house! So hubby is already in the UK, we want to join him soon but we are having issue getting accommodation. Where he is now can not accommodate us (family of 3).
1.Can we book a hotel or Airbnb pending when we will get accommodation?
2.Would that suffice as answer where we were asked to give brief detail of our accommodation in Uk as dependants?
Thank you!

Sammybliss23: Thank you so much, another one . Firsttly, i am calculating the ihs fee for both of them (agee 6 and 3), so in the form for calculating the ihs, the point they asked if the applicant is under 18 and under local authority care, what is the correct option?. Yea my kids are under 18, but, i dont understand the 'under local authority care'. Please which option suits them? |

There was a previous PSW scheme that ended in 2012. homesinabuja: The likelihood of not getting the visa is not high. As far as you follow the rules. Have you heard of anyone denied without any reason? Post study visa was introduced 2021(if I am not mistaken), not like it has existed since inception, if they don't want you to stay again they will simply remove it. |

The evidence is usually asked for by the ECO when it is suspected that the funds are being recycled and not truly available in cases where the main applicant and dependant apply within a short time ie. Few weeks to 2 months of each other. Since you've been in the UK for over 6 months, it is highly likely that the ECO wouldn't ask. No need to include your tuition invoice except it is asked for - your BRP, student ID card and a letter from your school stating that you're a current student is enough proof of your studentship. Just make sure that you have enough for them, your outstanding balance and/or your rent. Sammybliss23: @mimilyrics, and others, about this 'evidence' thing., in my case, i have been in the uk since sept 2021. Now, i am applying for my children's visa. I have their pof in my account which is the same account i used for mine (and hubby) last year, but not the same funds. Obviously, we are not recycling funds. Please, do you thing its necessary attaching my tuition invoice from my school as an evidence while uploading their application. I am really worried cos i am still oweing school fees (1700pounds) and i dont want to show that. But what do you think? What can you advice.
When you say "another" proof of fund, what do you mean? Normally, you show your own tuition balance + your monthly maintainance * 9 months and your dependants' monthly maintenance * 9 months if you apply together. If they apply shortly after you get your own visa, they only need their own (dependants') POF but the ECO might ask for evidence of your own funds and evidence that it went towards your tuition and maintainance in the UK, in addition to your dependants' maintainance if it is suspected that the funds are recycled. |

Average of 3 weeks but this can sometimes be more or less, depending on the volume of applications. No, marriage isn't a must. Whether single or married, you have to demonstrate a suitability of your studentship for your course. Yes. Irrespective of whether or not you showed the funds in your account for your own application, they need to show evidence of funds when they make their applications. This can be in your account or theirs but the bank statement submitted must not be older than 31 days at the time they submit their online application. Keep handy your own evidence incase it is asked for as this has been the case with some people whom the ECOs sispected of recycling funds. Otitodilijesu: Thanks for your response, I really appreciate. They are gonna be applying shortly after I arrived in the UK. Given that I would have showed POF for myself and two dependant while applying as main applicant, Will they still need to show another POF when they are applying for dependent visa.

Honestly! I just hope that people don't get themselves in situations that are difficult to get out of. Any whiff of deception or contravening immigration rules and poof! everything (time, money, efforts) is gone down the drain just like that. duchess90: Honestly Mimi
I am shocked at the sort of advise people are giving on this forum. Work beyond 20hrs outside holiday, claim to be married when you are clearly single.

Just so you know, if you intend getting married in the UK, You’ll need to prove that you're divorced before you can get married. Note to everyone: Please always triple check your applications before submission to be sure that there are no errors, inaccuracies or omissions even when an "experienced" agent fills it for you. Not all NHS roles allow you to work more than 20 hours as a student. Working over 20 hours is a contravention of student visa rules; some people getting away with it due to ECO oversight doesn’t mean that everyone will. ensamy: Truth I heard it severally, that UKVI allows more than 20hrs for NHS trust student workers. So they is something hidden the deported person is not saying.

You don’t need to submit your CAS, all you need is to fill the info it contains in your application, it is a virtual document that the UK has access to. You have no need to worry. Naomimary: Hello guys! I think I f* up. I submitted my student visa application today but didn’t submit my CAS. I did this because I read the I only need the CAS ref and Sponsor’s license number. I already filled the numbers during my application. Also, I asked a TLS agent and she also said I don’t need to submit the paper copy of my CAS since I already inputted my reference number during my application. But, getting home, *some people* are saying I did the wrong thing and it’s a must to submit the paper copy. My question is, what do I do now? I’m confused. Do I call TLS to book an appointment if they can still help me upload it? |

ECOs sometimes make errors so to prevent this, you can write a cover letter stating that multiple accounts have been submitted so that all of them are taken into account. The person in question might hypothetically have some issues with the statement submitted for his/her application. Ibro2021: I'm in the same boat with the OP - considering submitting two accounts for POF.
However I came across the attached image saying UKVI only considered one of the accounts.
Not sure what to believe at this point.
Please advise. |
