He doesn't need his CV for his student visa application. His uncle can't sponsor him. He can be sponsored by his parents, his partner (if in the UK or applying at the same time), or himself. He has to show a consent to utilize funds letter from his parents or partner if he's using their bank statements/information.
Trendy0090:
Please my friend is doing his process and he has been self-employed should he put his business on his CV? Hope it won't affect him. Then can an uncle sponsor him for his education process?

If you're able to succinctly explain your career trajectory and achievements in the period that you were not in school, it shouldn't be a problem.

If you're driving: If you're driving, once you get to Berger, keep driving straight and don't turn till you drive past Motorways building on your right. Keep to the right lane once you sight the building to your right just beside the pedestrian bridge and descend towards Ojota.
Drive to Maryland from Ojota, keep to your right and go up the bridge leading to Mobolaji Bank Anthony. Turn by Mobil filling station, drive straight till you see GTBank on your right- the church is just after it. Drive slowly so that you don't miss your turn. Parking is usually competitive and might cost your around N500-N1,000 so you might want to park elsewhere closely (GTBank, Mr Biggs etc).
If in doubt at any point, use Google Maps.
Via public transport: Most likely, the final stop for your bus will be Ojota. If your bus stops at Berger, you'll need to board a bus to Ojota/Maryland.
Maryland is 2 bus stops away from Ojota. You can board a BRT bus in the middle lane or a yellow bus from Ojota if you're stopped there. Stop at Maryland bus stop, you will need to cross to your right and walk for like 3 mins from the BRT stop to Mobil station, maryland.
There are usually yellow buses from the bus stop or directly in front of Mobil.
There used to be a lot of bikes and Kekes there but not sure if they are still allowed there due to the ban.

From Maryland, board a bus/keke and alight at Abule Onigbabo - it's a few minutes stroll from there. It's a tall building (Etiebet's house) after the church and before Eko hospital.

Oanda rate is the official rate that UKVI uses in converting funds not in £ - you were right in using it. You can always put more funds than required but as long as it's not lower, you're good.

It's not a visa refusal but entry denial. The questions surrounding issued visas, travels and entry denials are quite clear on the form. You'd need to include the reason for this on your form though.
No one can say if it will affect or not affect your application as each application is evaluated on its merits.

Better not to do this because if it comes up during UKVI checks, it will be assumed that the funds aren't available for your use.

Your main aim of coming to the UK is to study, not work so the question is to figure out if your main aim of wanting a student Visa is a means to an end (being able to work in the UK).
If this changes later, it shouldn't be a problem as long as it's within the 20 hours allowed on student visas.
Nenny1997:
Please in my teeside mandatory questionnaire, I was asked if I will work in the UK. I indicated that I won't work in the UK. Although I don't know how things will be in the UK, do you think there will be any issues?
Please someone should help, thanks
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by mimilyrics: 11:54pm On Jul 01, 2021
No. The requirement is different from school to school. Some schools accept C grade in WAEC as long as it's older than a certain period while some accept a letter from your school stating that your course was fully taught in English. Some others only want IELtS.

1. Yes.
2. No. As long as you're married, using your marriage certificate isn't a problem.
XaviSlyde:
Hello house, Please I need some clarification.

I'm getting married officially in September, however I want my wife to follow me as a dependent for my masters in UK. I already have a court marriage at the Ikoyi registry scheduled for this month.

My Questions:

1. Can I use our wedding certificate from the registry to apply for visa at the end of July. My CAS is out is as I speak just waiting for funds to mature for me and my dependent.

2. I'm thinking its too soon to use the marriage certificate to apply.

Actually moved for the registry wedding so we can leave together come september.

Gurus in the house please help..

1. Since the money is in your account, you. If you are interviewed and asked about how you acquired the money in your account, your parents gave it to you.
2. You only state that you're funded by your parents if using their account statement(s).
kenzo38:
Hello everyone ,
My POF is in my account sent by my parents
Pls I’m filling the pre-cas document sent by my school and have been really confused about answering this question.

1. Who will be paying your tuition fees? You/your parents or a financial sponsor?

Pls do I state that I will be paying the tuition or my parents will

I would really appreciate a response to this
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 5 by mimilyrics: 7:13am On Jun 19, 2021
Yes, if there's no delay in your fees being remitted, CAS issuance and visa processing. Just make sure that you've got your funds ready for your application - don't wait for other things to fall in place before getting your funds ready.
Ufodeking:

TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 5 by mimilyrics: 7:10am On Jun 19, 2021
Yes, since her dependants will apply later when their funds meet UKVI requirements.
magastefan:
OK just to be sure she should still go ahead and state her family will join her even if she is only showing funds for only herself?
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 5 by mimilyrics: 5:10pm On Jun 18, 2021
No, you can apply as long as your own funds are complete (28 days inclusive) but your dependants should wait till after their's complete before applying.
Chysunshine1:
Same applicable to me.

Please, must the dependent's money be complete in the account before I can apply for my visa, I am the primary applicant here.

Quote author=mimilyrics post=102847362]Since her dependants will be joining her, she should state that she's coming with her dependants. It won't pose a problem.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 5 by mimilyrics: 2:14pm On Jun 18, 2021
You'd usually need to pay £705 (around $983) to include the extra 4 months added so she's just about right. I should have included that in my earlier comment.

TravelRe: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by mimilyrics: 2:00pm On Jun 18, 2021
You don't need to send a change of circumstance form to UKVI so don't expect a response to that. Proof of your marriage need to be submitted with your wife's application. What you need to do is to apply for your wife's student dependant visa in accordance with the guidelines and you'll be fine.
abby2443:
Hello great minds, I’m back again oo.

So I’m now in the UK on tier 4 student visa. I applied as single but after I got my Visa I got married before traveling. About four weeks ago, I filled a change of circumstance form coupled with wedding pictures and other throwbacks and sent to home office so as to update them about my marital status. Up till now I haven’t heard from them and I hope to apply for my wife’s visa (tier 4 partner dependant) by first or second week of July. Justwise and co please advice

You either state that your dad is your sponsor and submit his bank statement showing the funds, birth certificate showing your relationship OR you select that you're self-funded and he transfers the funds to you. If asked about where you got your fund (if you're selected for an interview), just state that your dad gave you.
Olumike09:
Please I need an urgent reply, I want to apply for UK student visa and I used my Dad as my sponsor. Can I have the funds in my personal account since my income can not justify the fund or it is a must I use my Dads' since I am stating that he is my sponsor?
Thanks.

Good day all, pls I need an urgent reply
My sister has gotten her CAS and wants to apply for her visa however the funds for her dependants has not matured..
Now, is it advisable to apply for herself and state she is not going with her dependants for now?
And then apply for her dependants later in July when their funds has matured.

Will this pose any problem atall? Yor urgent response would be appreciated.
