TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by mimilyrics:
My deduction from the posted screenshot is that it is from the date of the most recent refusal. The most recent one was refused because the applicant "deceived" or "lied" in his most recent application that he had never been refused a UK visa whereas he was refused in 2012 even though he was under 18 at the time of the initial application and didn't even know that he ever had a refusal before.

So he wasn't refused because he was refused in the past but because he unknowingly lied about it in his most recent application.

megastu:
Luckily, the ban is not from the date of the refusal but from the date of the alleged deception (2012) so wait till 2022 to apply but in your application you should address the refusal of 2012 and why you omitted disclosures.

All the best!

1. No, you only provide the statement relevant to your application (your statement) for your application.
2. You provide the statement relevant to their application (your husband's statement) for theirs.
3. Yes, indicate that they are going with you even if the funds aren't with you.
You can all apply together as long as all you dotted all your i's and crossed a your Ts.
I would only suggest applying alone at 1st if you think that there's a chance that your visa might be refused without a chance at AR.
HappyGrace:
I already splitted the fund and the fund is matured now, my question is, do I provide both statements one my application and their application?
Do I still indicate in my application that they are going with me considering that their fund is not with mine?
Some people suggest I apply and get my visa first before the apply but we want to apply and travel together.

Not necessary except you want to; just stating divorced is okay. You'll need it if you marry or want to marry in the UK and need to make an application on the basis of that marriage.
Ray800:
Good evening guys, please i need a quick response please. I am about to pay my application fee and submit my application. Regarding the document to submit, i am applying alone and i am divorce, Do i need to submit my Divorce Certificate along with other documentshuhhuh
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 6 by mimilyrics: 11:29pm On Dec 29, 2021
Not necessary if you don't want it that way. All of the money can be in your account ad the main applicant but if you feel better splitting them into separate accounts, it's your decision. As long as the funds are not less than is requiredat any point, you're good.
HappyGrace:
Good evening, please I need your help here, I am applying for a student visa, I have two dependents, my spouse and child, some people advised me to have the proof of funds separately so I have my own proof of fund in my account and my spouse have is maintenance fund and that of our child in his account. Please how do I go about the application? We want to travel together.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 6 by mimilyrics:
Physical spot checks, Employer checks, electronic checks, whistle blower information, not engaging with studies which might lead to being reported to UKVI who then investigates the situation, sometimes nature just happens.
Some people might tell you that they got away with it but remember, it doesn't make it right and it doesn't mean that "you" won't be caught. (You is used figuratively here).
By submitting your application, you agree that the UKVI can check information held on by other applicable organisations (police (crime records), HMRC (Taxes/NI), NHS (debts owed) etc.)

Good day, everyone. I am working on my application right now, my wife is in uk studying, so should i put "yes" and my wife's details to the question below huh

TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 6 by mimilyrics: 10:04pm On Dec 29, 2021
That's not true. Whether married or not, your parent(s)/father can sponsor your education as long as you have a birth certificate to prove his parental tie to you and he gives you a letter authorising the use of the funds in his account for your fees along with his bank statement.
You can only use your partner's funds if your partner is in the UK or you're applying together.

mydeporch:
Good day my people, please i need clarification for this
Is it true that as a married woman , you cannot use your parent as sponsor...i was told its better to not use parents once you are married. My father(in the Uk) was thinking of giving me a supporting document as sponsor..
..i would not want a situation that will hinder the application when the time comes.
Should i just stick to husband as sponsor or is it possible to use both of them.
I need your advice. Thanks

Thanks and I have checked it, I saw my profession as I am a Dental Surgery Technician, abroad it’s is called Dental Hygienist….
So what next if I want to apply for a work permit in the UK, thanks .
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by mimilyrics: 1:41pm On Dec 29, 2021
You need to 1st check of you are in a profession that enables sponsorship https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/skilled-worker-visa-eligible-occupations . After this, start visiting the relevant job sites to apply for jobs; hopefully you'll get interviews and ace 1 or more of them.
HorlarJP:
Hello, I have checked all threads about UK and I haven’t seen any on UK work permit.
Is it that hard to get job from outside UK or do people go on a visit visa and then find work so they can change there visa to a work visa because I couldn’t see any work permit in the UK thread . Thanks

I think you posted this before and it was answered.
Whether you had the kids or not and whether they are travelling with him or not, they are his dependants. It's better to put them on so as to avoid UK visa issues for them if your spouse intends to make applications for them in future.

Pls help ‼️‼️‼️‼️

I’m a lady and have my student visa already and due to travel by end of the year but got married after my visa application. My husband would be joining me in a month as a dependant but he has kids from another although not married to her. Can his kids be added as our dependants as he’s fully responsible for their upkeep but they won’t be joining us anytime but solely responsible for them?
My marriage certificate says *Single father with children* while mine says * Spinster* but we are now officially married.

Do you think he should add them as dependent or remove since they won’t be traveling with him and won’t there be any issue for visa approval?

Pls I’m so confused about this
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 6 by mimilyrics: 12:52pm On Dec 28, 2021
You only change your name on your passport if you wish to. Your marriage certificate is often enough for UKVI to link you and your spouse.
dexpendable:
For people getting married after visa approval, please do you have to change the marital status on the data Page of the passport or just leave as it is

TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 6 by mimilyrics: 9:01pm On Dec 27, 2021
I'd advise that you have some cash to tide you over for the 1st 2-3months to prevent your academics from suffering or from being under undue pressure. It's doable but tough.
Bear in mind that you might not get a job immediately you come in, you also need to apply for your NI ASAP as most jobs require it.

That seems right if its in $. Using the IHS calculator, if you apply for your dependants now, they will need to pay £705 ( about $947.07) each.
Any period over 1 year but less than 1 year, 6 months is normally charged the IHS for 1 year, 6 months; periods above 1½ years but less than 2 years are usually charged for 2 years.
The IHS will be calculated based on when the application is made and using your visa end date not your course.

Hello house...I intend bringing my family next month...been in the uk for over 3 months now...I believe ihs should reduce for them...but I am seeing 968 for dependants...and my course is a 1 yr course o. Is there a way to go about it or am I not filling something right? Kids are 7 6 and 2yrs. All paying 968. Kindly help .

Whatever he does, he should add them as dependents even if they aren't travelling with you. This makes it easier for later.

It is a self-governing British Crown dependency in the Irish Sea between England and Ireland. It is NOT part of the UK.

TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 6 by mimilyrics: 10:33pm On Dec 23, 2021
No, it shouldn't except there is any reason for UKVI to believe that the marriage isn't genuine.
Sonwa:
Good morning my people

Please a friend need urgent reply

The main applicant base in lagos while the dependent works in abuja. Is it possible for them to have biometric in lagos for the main applicant and the dependent in abj. Will it in anyway affect the visa application?

No but they won't be working during the bank holidays Dec 27-28 and Jan 3. They will be working on other days except explicitly stated on UKVI sites.

Please about this Christmas break, is it true the visa officers or rather the embassy will resume after new year. My application is still at dmc and my school resumes Jan 10. Meanwhile, I filled Jan 5 as my departure date in my application.

You will still need to follow the rules for those who are not double-vaccinated if you travel 4-5days after.
sweetoma:
Guys Is it better to take only the first dose of COVID vaccine and wait for 14 days and travel or take first and second dose and travel without waiting for 14 days after the second dose? I have taken my first dose today and should take the second dose in 14 days time but if I take the second dose I won’t have 14 days to spare to wait before travel. Is it okay to travel 4/5 days after second dose ?

Board a bus to Ikeja Along. From Ikeja Along, go into the part that has computer village towards Awolowo way, board a bus to Maryland from there and alight at Abule Onigbagbo bus stop. Cross to the other side - Etiebet's place is almost the bus stop.
