Lol... There are online stores in UK that sells all Nigerian foodstuff amd can be delivered to your doorstep anywhere in England e.g sammyonline store, wosiwosi , you don't need to carry all these load , moreover when you exhaust this will you come back to naija to get another.
Since he will have the luggage space for it, why not? At least he gets to travel with local foodstuffs that would hold him for a period of time before he can start shopping for them online.

I am even just imagining the girlfriend that is threatening to leave! cheesy cheesy

For you to be scared about her leaving you, is a clear reflection of your very low self-esteem and she is cashing in on that.

If you don't know, ask questions.
Ask questions on how to get the UK High Commission to issue visas to the kids without their mother's being involved and sneaked out of Nigeria?

I'm not a kid. Im an American so I'm unfamiliar with Nigeria and traveling its parts.

But thank you, I will travel there and get to the bottom of things.
I advise you start with establishing contacts with Nkwerre Aborigines Union, USA (google it) and share your story with them and based on your surname, they would help trace your village.

How possible is it for a man to travel to the UK with his children without the knowledge of his wife, who is still alive? So the UK High Commission will grant those minors visas without raising questions about their mother?

Sunnimuslim,
what you went through is terrible and it is sad that people act like this is normal. This is not normal, this is abuse. I hope God will give you the strength to heal from the abuse you were subjected to and I pray you will use your experience to do better but I also want you to know that it is not your duty to forgive your brother just because you happen to be related. Forgiveness can't be forced. You will allow it when the time comes and I hope you will allow it for your own sake and your own peace of mind and not because it is expected of you. Take your time. You will be fine. For you to open up here tells me that you are on your way to finding the peaceful resolution that you seek. As of now, feel free to keep your distance from your 'brother'. Sometimes the family we are born to is not the family we need. It can be hard but it can also make you stronger. I am glad you are old enough to stand up for yourself but be careful it doesn't get out of control and someone gets seriously hurt in one of the fights. Your brother hasn't changed. He must have a lot of issues to act the way he does. No sane and content human being behaves like this. I hope that understanding this can help you see that he needs help too but it is not your place to help people who have not asked to be helped. It should be your priority to protect yourself, best by keeping your distance, at least for the time being.
Reading this, sure made me feel like I was reading a mail from a therapist. wink

Education › Re: 4-Year-Old Girl Destroys School Properties. Teacher Reacts Calmly (Video) by Mindlog:
The tantrum may be a sign of an underlying disorder, more likely under disruptive behaviour disorders. I regularly experience such at the child psychiatric clinic where I do take shifts, 5 year olds smashing their parents phones to making efforts to destroy sensory balls used for their therapy.

If beating up a child is the only way to achieve behaviour modifications, were the kidnappers, runs girls, ritualists, thugs, assassins, yahoo boys, armed robbers and other forms of criminality committed by Nigerians not beaten when they were children?

SURElee:
Is only in Nigeria a woman will be divorced and still be carrying the man's name like gala on their heads.

I remember asking a woman in my office why she was still bearing her hubby's name and she told me to ward off all those ogas in the office who once they know she is divorced will be on her neck. Some women say they keep the name because of their kids. We Sha know it is mainly because of societal stigmatization divorcees go through.
So Angela Merkel is also a Nigerian woman? huh
