This APL story is fast becoming like the second coming of Christ. So many prophets. I'm bewildered that some people still take easymoneysniper seriously after all the disappointments in this thread. |

Easymoneysniper: APL is coming out on September 9th and 10th. Have a good night. #Confirmed I stopped caring about what anyone said about when APL was gonna be out after the "August 6" and "After Sallah" Disappointments. I was going to tell you to keep your info to yourself but just decided to take a cursory look at your past posts and I couldn't identify any history of you making pointless posts so I had a change of mind, I'm not going to hold onto it though, cos my disappointment absorber don finish. |

There is nothing we have not heard here, so anyone saying APL will arrive by the beginning of September and saying events could still take a huge turn, in my opinion, is completely pointless. |

Tjayelbee: There’s simply no reason why this recruitment should surpass this week, honestly. All has been done and dusted. Interestingly, the President is inaugurating his cabinet next week. The management of the Corporation is well aware of what that implies.
The President appointed Dr. Thomas John to perform the statutory functions of the Petroleum Minister as it relates to the Corporation (being it’s Board Chair), amongst which is ratifying/signing the recruitment ‘into law’. The coming of a New Minister on August 21st can possibly slur the process onwards, or not. There’s also possibility of influence from other Cabinet Ministers.
As regards payments of Transport Fares, it is logical to suggest that it is a bottom-up payment pattern starting mostly with people interviewed on later days. Although, even at that they seem to be ‘picking’.
Yesterday, I spoke with someone who had been giving me superb Info, whether there was new updates (as I’m also having conflicts resuming school). Although he’s out of office, he maintained 2nd/3rd week of August for notifications and September for resumption. I just believe current/updated information is air-tight and within certain circle.
Let’s keep hope alive. All the best folks! Ok oo. Today is kuku Friday. |

Gbriels: It's so so sad bro....but we gonna overcome it somehow with dudes like u and Jiang and many more of like minds Lool don't see it that way bro. I've always been a patriot and I'm still a patriot. If I ever get an opportunity to go abroad for masters and get a good job that will establish me I will definitely go and I will still come back to put down my own contribution to the development of the country. Lots of the young minds that are contributing to the development of Nigeria today have support and funding from abroad. Think of Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, founders of paystack, kudi AI, kobo360, One Finance, flyingdoctor, to name a few. If you check the boards of these company you'll find that a large percentage schooled abroad but due to their love for Nigeria and their foresight on the business opportunities that Nigeria has to offer they decided to come back and put something on ground. There's a saying that goes: before a man can confront what killed his father he must first gather enough resources to fight that thing. This doesn't mean that those that have been in Nigeria haven't had massive contributions too people like Jarus come to mind and also the CEO of sofreshng. You can google all these people/company to find out more. The important thing is the love and compassion for the struggling people when you have gotten to the top. How you get there shouldn't be what matters as long as it is legit. |

mosgoon: i was referring to pay. "let's tone down on the interest talks''...i believe you don't understand where i'm coming from. If you are applying this logic, then it's no different than any other money talk in any facet of life. This is different. This context refers to navigating gradschool, jobs, networks, countries...for success Ok great. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Apply For 2019 NNPC Graduate Trainee And Experience Hire by Mitocyan: 1:45pm On Aug 13, 2019 |
mosgoon: I definitely know what a top 5 school means and by the way, ivy league is a different term. MIT and caltech are not ivy league and they are above many other ivys in rankings.
Like I said, I'm refraining from writing too much, I see a lot of comments here and a lot are too centered on few idiosyncrasies.
I have several close friends and close professors from all these schools and have gained several insights into the navigation of life matters regarding gradschool, job, networks, and country specifics.
Trust me, it depends on each person, interests and circumstances. I am thinking of a way to explain it better and address misconceptions.
Also regarding that 3m dollars.. I really hope you got your facts right. For context, Google"s CEOearns 1m dollars plus, Tesla's CFO earns about 6m and that's total compensation.. So I'm really baffled where you got that figure for a grad candidate.. I could learn though. Lol I thought same regarding the 3m dollars also. But the 1m dollars salary that Google CEO gets per annum is not his total pay. He also gets paid in stock and it can get as high as 200m dollars per annum. I believe you should also be aware that he's worth over a billion dollars. Mind you most Nigerians will definitely accept 1million dollars to resign from their company right here and now so let's tone down on this interest talks. |

loanky: Good day guys,
Please I need knowledgeable people to shed more light on this issue.
I would like to know the criteria been used to admit a bachelor's degree graduate, into a master degree in an entirely different course? Can a master degree holder pursue a PhD in a different course as well? Is it that easy to change career? Can a bachelor of engineering degree holder pursue post graduate degree in any engineering field?
I'm asking this because I have seen some people with several post graduate degrees in different courses without having a first degree in those courses. Very possible but depends on the school. Having a Bachelor's degree in Nigeria in say Chem Eng and seeking for an MS in Elect Eng in say Stanford is extremely difficult though. I've seen a case where some guy in India had a near perfect GRE score, near perfect GPA and publications in Chem Eng field got denied admission even though he had some few Elect Eng work experience after his Bachelor's because they consider alignment in your past experiences cos there are many candidates with similarly superb profiles. For lower ranked school though it is easier and there are numerous cases where it has happened. But you can always give it a try just don't put all your eggs in one basket. |
