This isn't a documentary, this is a narration.

If you are going to make a documentary you need to interview people and have them voice their experiences and opinions.

There's a big difference between shipping drugs and 'pushing' drugs.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Nigeria Among Most Hated Countries In Britain by mmsen:
You people are forever looking for external approval - this is not a list of hated nationalities, it is a list of countries that are disliked as a result of media representation. How many of the people sampled have ever stepped foot in Russia? Or Israel? Or North Korea?

I wish some of you would educate yourselves on Western culture instead of slavishly accepting whatever the Western media tell you.

Another thing you might want to know - those guys hate everybody, London regularly tops the list of the rudest tourist destinations (they usually rival Paris for the title).

What reason do they have to hate Russia? Russians spend more money in London than anyone, more so than the Arabs.

To be honest, Nigeria is in good company on this list - I wish Nigeria were more like Israel or Russia in its determination to do what is best for itself as a nation.

Nothing extraordinary about that fence.

It's his property - his to keep safe.

If he gets robbed will you help him recover his property or even sympathize with the man?

Definitely propaganda but the truth is it's improvement.

My question is why it had to be done at Federal instead of State level?

What happened to the Lagos Light Rail Project?

Culture › Re: Igbo Language And Its Downward Trend by mmsen: 4:28pm On Mar 03, 2015
For Nigeria to become a nation we need to embrace a common language, slowly but surely this is happening - the language of trade will dominate which will entail some of the older languages dying out.

This has happened in every society.

In as much as GEJ has my vote, I wouldn't mind Buhari wining the election so that we can see the magic and wonders he will perform.
In all honesty I don't have a horse in the election race.

I've found that democracy can work on a local level but it becomes increasingly difficult to hold leaders to account on a national level.

If I were to back someone it would have to be candidate that understood what a federal system entails and so pushed for a weaker, less wasteful, central government.

Good! I so much love these your questions. They go a long way to say that not all blames should be channeled to GEJ. I still maintain that GEJ is not a messiah but he's not the worst Nigeria leader ever.
Sometimes I wonder if people understand the system of government that they live under - especially when I hear them talk about GEJ in reference to state issues.

I hope that people begin to hold their local leaders to account first.

It has been like that since time immemorial. The government cannot save everybody at a time. Even the comic super hero character called "super man" couldn't be at every location at every time, so why expect one man to perform magic and restore this dead hole called Nigeria to sanity in less than 6 years in office?

What did leaders do? What did governors do? Or is it now that GEJ is president that everything became bad?
What are the LGA officials doing?

What are the state governors doing in those places with such terrible human development indices?

I visited most parts claimed to be the best in Lagos. Before getting to most locations the roads leading there, the environment and other things were unbelievably disturbing to my eyes. I kept asking myself what the Nigerian oil money was been used for. Jeez! cry cry cry cry
How long ago was this?

What time of year did you visit?

I would like to stress that the problem with many parts of Lagos, the mainland in particular, is due to overcrowding and a lack of regard to proper building maintenance.

The other parts that I mentioned are delightful however.

As for your question asking where the oil money went - a quick history lesson will tell you. Some was spent on Abuja and the rest went into the pockets of Army officials. Nigeria has come through almost 30 years of infrastructural neglect but it's a very different place to how I remember from my first visit in 1999. Much improved, Lagos especially.

Lagos, Ibadan, some parts of Ogun, Aekure, some cities in Niger Delta, etc. Videos on Abuja are scary as well.
I've never been to a part of Abuja that I would consider to be 'scary', do you recall where you went?

I'm no fan of Ibadan but parts of Lagos are beautiful - did you go to Ikoyi? VI? Lekki? Ikeja GRA?

I have visited more than twice and Nigerian cities are scary. I like the forest and topography in some parts of the nation. The people fail to maintain the environment and that is the biggest thing that makes it looks very disturbing to the eyes. Don't be deceived by "images", go and see for yourself.

It's very lazy to take another person's opinion as fact.

Are you in town currently and can you recommend good places you've eaten sharwama to someone apart from Crunchies at Marian road?
"Apples" (also on Marian Road) does good food, pretty sure they do shawarmas too.

There's another place (I think it's called "Fiesta", in between NAKS Hotel and the Airport road along Marian Extension, that also does great Shawarma.

Personally, I prefer to get suya from my Hausa friends next to Qua Iboe Church.

Calabar > *.

Why is nobody mentioning Lagos?
Parts of Lagos are excellent (Ikoyi, Lekki, VI, Ikeja GRA) - they are really are great places to be.

HOWEVER most of Lagos is not in keeping with the character of those places.

Too noisy.

Too many people/touts/area boys.

The traffic is a nuisance.

LASTMA.

MMA is the worst airport in the country (MMA2 is excellent).

And the threat of crime is very real in Lagos.

Which Ibadan?

Is it there another Ibadan in Nigeria apart from the one i know?

Any time i visit Ibadan i wonder how people cope, i really pity the residents.

I cannot forget the rat experience i had in a supposedly 5 star hotel.
Would not want to go back there.
I have to say that I am shocked to see people proclaiming Ibadan as the best city in Nigeria to live in. Have those people ever visited Calabar?

First place is Calabar followed by Uyo and Enugu.

All of the places I've listed are clean, orderly, safe, great roads (Uyo and Calabar in particular), great local eateries, with respectful and charming locals.

Abuja would be on that list were it not for the security issue.

I can agree with you there - the Calabar - Itu Road needs to be a priority, desperately needs to be widened and made to the same quality as the roads in AKS.

Having said that Calabar is still the best city in Nigeria to live in.

We are talking of the well-trained lady ( not spoilt brats) with self-respect who on a good day will never think of utilizing her body.
Again, you are trying to pretend as if that second category (so called "spoiled brats"wink of female are few.

The reality is that there are more of them around than many people are comfortable with.
Webmasters › Re: How To Open And Verify Paypal Account In Nigeria Using Bank Atm Card by mmsen:
For those of you looking for a quick money transfer solution you should look into bitcoin.

No charge backs.

The banks do not control the release of your money. It is your money you can use it as you wish. You are free to send as many or as few bitcoins are you desire without inquiry.

Very minimal transfer fees (often >%1) as opposed to 3% for Paypal.
