Politics › Re: Homosexuality Rises In Nigeria Few Days Into Biden’s Presidency by mmsen: 11:37am On Jan 30, 2021
Homosexuality is not Nigeria's problem.

Why is a law passed to criminalize something that is relatively obscure but nothing is done about physical abuse meted out towards children, or the child marriage nonsense, or the religious persecution that is rife in all parts of the country?
Politics › Re: Matthew Page: Nigerian Elites Using UK Schools As Shields For Money Laundering by mmsen: 8:24am On Jan 30, 2021
27Pushing30:
Oga Nigeria’s problem is not corruption

It’s a lack of strong and fair government system (Our federalism is Unitarism in disguise) and lack of strong institutions (federal and state)

I’ve observed a lot about America and it’s clear they are a nation filled with corrupt people, na just better PR dem get.
The level of corruption in Nigeria is absurd but the other absurdity is what the corrupt Nigerian elite do with their proceeds - they take that money to parts of the world that have a profound hatred for Africans and enrich those societies instead of their own.

Why build such a market for electronic goods? Why not a more sophisticated looking mall for the 21st century? This looks like a place where you go to buy livestock not SSDs and laptops.

Nigerian ladies living in the US and UK are also in that class of toxic black American women. Very selfish and mean set of women

Politics › Re: Dangote Says His Ex-Girlfriend Tried To Extort $5 Million From Him by mmsen:
Most women don't have love in their hearts, they will lie that they do to emotionally extort men.

And most men are too stupid to see the truth.

The problem isn't people having sex, people have sex everywhere when the weather is bad. The problem in Africa is the refusal to embrace contraceptives and allow for access to safe abortions.

Noted. This will further expose Dangote to more ridicules. Most of us thought it was Photoshop and trumped-up charge until now. Dangote can never win this rofo rofo battle with a woman whom he doesn't know yet her litany of blackmailing dossier. They did it to Samson they are now on Dangote. Fear women. With this level of poor judgement by d supposed richest man in Africa, something is terribly doubtful with his entrepreneural prowess. I now believe that under very fair competitive business climate this man can't be Nigeria's richest but d skewed policies by every Govt in power to favor him vis-a-vis d monopolistic reign for everything he is interested in has sustained this unmerited narrative.
What 'poor judgement'. He didn't do anything wrong.

And what does him being the richest man in Africa have to do with your point? If a man took a picture of a lady's private parts and put them online without her permission he would face criminal charges. Why is this different? Why do you have Dangote as the wrong doer here?
Politics › Re: Sanwo-Olu Vows To Put An End To Maternal, Child Mortality by mmsen: 7:44pm On Jan 24, 2021
For a group of people who make SO MUCH NOISE about the importance of marriage and having children Africans sure do seem to have an appalling attitude towards those people who dare to try and have children.
Business › Re: 5 Mistakes That Can Keep You Broke For Life by mmsen:
Another useless nairaland thread. Many people have become rich to prove others wrong and abuse their power, look at Nigerian politics.

Those other points are equally foolish.

How is Biden better for Africa? He's white supremacy lite.

Soyinka has really exposed himself over the past seven years. Has he explained his support of the Fulani jihadist?
Family › Re: My Brother's Marriage Is About To Collapse. by mmsen:
You people really see things in an absurd manner.

He elected to get married. He chose to have children. His children do not owe him for raising them, it was his choice to have them. However much he spent, that was his duty as a parent.

If you don't want to raise children; if you don't want to spend money on school fees; if you don't wish to go without meals to feed children that you apparently cannot afford to raise, then do not have them.

Politics › Re: Boko Haram: West Has Shown More Concern Than Arab Nations – Borno Gov, Zulum by mmsen:
We already know that Muslims don't care about Muslims, this is not news. Chinese have done more in Pakistan than the Arab nations. Arab nations have done nothing for Palestinians, nothing for Yemenis.

The question is what have YOU done for your own citizens. Why do so many northern leaders assume positions of authority and then cry as if they are powerless?
