Growing up, most of the technical colleges used to be filled up. On my way home after school, you find the technical students in their hundreds leaving school, while some are going for their afternoon lectures.

As at the time i left Nigeria years ago, story has changed. Technical colleges are not what it used to be.

Back in the days, the lecture halls are always jam-packed. You can hardly breathe well. Certainly Nigeria needs more Universities that must be well funded.

So many kids are home waiting for admission.

I have always maintained that one of Nigeria's major problem is from the grassroot and that is the local government.

If each local government chairman since 1999 have tarred (with very good materials) at least 6 roads per year in their respective local governments, Nigerian roads would have been 89% tarred.

We keep blaming the State Governors, but the local government chairmen are the closet demons to the people.

You are absolutely right, like you said wife cheating on husband with rich men, same way we have wives cheating on their rich husbands with one undergraduate student who sags is trousers, or even ogas driver. That is why i said a good partner is the prayer.

Also, this issue of marrying in poverty is the most silly idea i have seen. If at all, just one is fine. Sometimes its hard to blame people who have kids when they are financially down. If they start progressing financially at 48, and start child-bearing, they probably will be 70 when their first child clocks 20. That is also not easy.

I have seen situations where the woman was the one who help set the husband to become a millionaire. The truth is one should pray to have a good partner.

There's hardly any infrastructure in Nigeria worth celebrating. I live in this area. Come to Lagos badagry express way, trash littered everywhere. This is a road that leads to other countires. Imagine someone coming from Togo or Benin republic, in his mind he's coming to Lagos, the fastest growing city in Africa and Nigeria the giant of Africa and is welcomed by such horrible sight.
Dem go loot finish, use 2% of the allocated budget to build substandard road for us, and people actually commend them.
