To the best of my knowledge, these are just guesses at best. The fact remains that these Olukumi towns in Delta North have settled in the Igbo area for so many decades and their town names are purely Igbo names, albeit ancient Igbo names. Ugbodu does not sound Yoruba in any way. Ugbodu has several meanings in Igbo. Ugbodu is not too far from the river Odu. Ugbo means farm in both Esan and Aniocha |

Supremos: Hamas should know that the longer the hostages are kept, the more destruction Gaza would witness.
Using public properties like hospitals and schools to keep hostages and weapon will see to the destruction of public properties by the Israeli military.
The Arab world instead of encouraging confrontations, should prevail on Hamas to deescalate the tention by releasing the hostages in their custody if they release the hostages now, Israel would simply flood the tunnels and destroy Hamas military infrastructure and capacity. They want a cease fire as a guarantee of hostage release so they can move things and rebuild military capacity. Unfortunately for Israel, a ceasefire (or at least a humanitarian pause) is the humanitarian thing to do. Too many innocent Palestinians have died from an aggression they didn't directly participate in. Also important to note that Israel expansionist agenda thrives on the other party starting an aggression. Israel's expansion over the last few decades is making the two-state solution increasingly untenable. |

Like understanding that the real reason for the war is that isreal wants to do away with gaza residents and take their oil, build a canal there that will rival the egyptiam suez canal . This is supported by the usa. They think the world will support them because they own 90 percent of world media but they forgot that news is now decentralised. Its easy to distinguish what's real from fake. you are raising more aspersions. How does Israel own 90% of world media? Israel actually willingly gave Gaza to Egypt after winning it during the 6-day war. I am not sure it is that easy to distinguish real from fake |

zinaunreal: There is oil at gaza strip and israel wants it. That strip of water there is very rich with oil and gas. It belongs to Gaza. Anyways hezbollah has started sending long range missiles deep into israel and very soon their general will give a press conference . The goal is to have the Palestinians leave but this will be israels greatest blunder despite their acclaimed intelligence .
Israel thought people will keep shut like it happened in Myanmar when the Rohingya people was displaced but it backfire. This is the real reason America wanted to get rid of Tiktok and other decentralised news but just like Tinubu was exposed for his corrupt electoral practices, it happened to them also.

Babinski: The quoted photograph was taken by Margaret Bourke-White (1904 – 1971). Her date of birth alone shows the misinformation in the picture erroneously dated to 1900. https://monovisions.com/margaret-bourke-white/
The picture is that of straving young men from a German concentration camp around 1945.
I have responded in the past to several misinformation about Palestine and the Israelites. I would quote some of those respknses rather than waste time debunking another clear lie and misinformation here.

You would be surprised to know that even the Quran admits that God gave the Land of Canaan (which it called Palestine) to the Jews and has a similar story to the Moses, Joshua and Caleb accounts in the Bible.

Palestinians are descendants of the Philistines who were part of the Sea People that invaded ancient Egypt and were settled in the southern part of the Land of Canaan after their defeat by Pharaoh Rameses III around 1200BC. They were not indigenous to that region unlike the Isrealites. The purported short history dating back to 1947 that said the Palestinians owned the land is fallacy!
https://www.nairaland.com/6555083/happened-isreal/1#101737971 the picture is correct that they were trying to enter palestine. However, they never made it as the British intercepted them and they were interned at a cyprus detention camp. The appeal in english was to a british war ship encycling them and british soldiers on the port of Haifa. |

The "there was no state of Israel" argument is useless what we are asking for is a two-state solution so that palestine can have their state as a one party state will be akin to apartheid for palestines or will encourage one party to mass produce children so as to quickly change the demographics of the single state |

geoworldedu: In my opinion, nobody should side with any of the two nations. They should let them settle their scores themselves. Jehovah, Allah and other gods started the wars some thousands of years ago and I don't think it will ever cease. Religious war is the worst of all wars. I pity those who still obey their gods in the modern days. Muslim especially will obey their gods to kill and destroy. I think Judaism and Christians have grown past that now. For example, Abraham almost obeyed his god to kill his son back then. But these days I don't think anyone who does that would be praised, but rather would be lashed and bashed on X. That's why I say Judaism is becoming civilised. Then Peter pronounced death on Ananias and Sapphira because they lied against a supposed holy ghost. If you do so as a Christian pastor these days, even the Christians themselves will be the ones to drag you on X and Nairaland. That's why I think Christianity has evolved too. But I can't say same for the followers of Islam. culture of the time influences religion no matter how conservative or hardline |
