Hi everyone.

someone told me u can't write/cope with cfa if u are not a chartered accountant.
However, I noticed the CFA curiculum was not strictly accounting but contained more on financial instruments and markets etc.

i wanted to find out how true this is.

Is it possible for a science graduate who works in a bank to take CFA without writing ican or acca.

one of the good things abt geeks is devotion to things that fascinate them. it however does not translate to 'no time for pleasure'

I don't think being a techie could equate to having poor social skills. Granted i can't dance properly but i am fun to be with (they all say so). There is actually no personality that makes one a good techie as i have an unserious personality but is also a workaholic. This carefree attitude to life shuld be in contrast with our typical geek personality.

I might also not take ladies seriously but one thing i won't do is deceit in a relationship as a result of principle and morals. "I love u" has to be that [size=3pt]if it exists[/size]. Also, like most of ur geeks, i am understanding.

I think its is possible to fall under the anointing of the Holy spirit as with God all things are possible. That it may never have happened does not mean it is not possible. Some people think the Bible contains the WHOLE truth but there could be other sources of doctrine outside the bible. They must however not contradict what is in the bible though this requires the Holy Spirit for interpretation. For speaking in tongues, i also believe that its real.

The thing is this things are not the important things and Paul even says this in the bible. There was a time when i fake speaking in tongues but i repented of it and would never fake it again. i have never spoken in real tongues before. As for falling, i also have never fallen. Even when pushed i stand my ground.

I found that Africans have a desire to cling to an religious line of thought as against a rational line. this affects us in many ways. Read 48 Laws of Power (Greene). It is easy to make africans worship you as they long for such cause. Give them such a cause and remove every form of rationality by keeping it vague and unexplainable.

I have the cisa 2007 review manual which i am studyingin preparation for the june 2009 exam. I got a link for the 2008 manual but after downloading one of the chapters, i couldn't find any difference b/w the 2007 and the 2008 manual. The link for the 2008 manual is below.

partition magic is best. i use it. you partition ur hard disk. you will however have to configure dual booting if you want to to use ur windows and ur linux. if it is the windows boot loader you prefer then don't install grub to the master boot record

Thanks LeMoor. the reason was that i had spaces in the path to the oracle database installation directory.

However a new issue came up as runInstaller responded with "unsupported operating system". i using oracle enterprise linux and i thought oracle 10g for linux would run on it since they were from the same vendor.

can i use tweaks or fixes to solve this.

i was trying to install oracle 10gr2 on an oracle enterprise linux os. when i entered runInstaller, it responded with command not found.

i had "cd" to the database directory in the oracle installation.

please does anyone know the reason and what i can do.

i really would not be able to afford most of the courses offered for the pmp. i wanted to know if i can read a book i bought (Preparing for the pmp exam) and go on to write it. you know even the exam is expensive (about $600). add training costs to that and u see why i want to go it by self study

Could be consulting firms, telecoms, oil, banking, oceans and shipping, construction. name sector and give examples of companies.

i am trying to look at It from the employee perspective as opposed to (or and compare it with) the independent IT consultant.I would also want to know which sector or company, IT adds value (Business Value) to the most.

really sad news. i'm a manu united fan but i respect mourinho as a coach. forget the bickering. jose has done so much for chelsea. chelsea is not the only team fumbling. even manu just got back to winning ways. mourinho won 2 league titles (back to back) in 3 yrs. he reached champions league semi finals twice. mourinho changed the typical manu-arsenal rivalry to a manu-chelsea rivalry.

i disagree that the guy was using her. using a girl is abt lies and manipulation. the guy was very truthful telling u u give him a headache. the only problem is that he didn't appreciate u but u clung to him all d same.

i just wrote the oracle database 10g administration 1 (1z0-042) and passed with 100% score.

i would soon write the administration 2 (1z0-043) exam as i have been reading for it even before writing the 1z0-042.

I had an old braindump and saw about 15 new questions but i emphatically say that the sybex books i read together with refering to oracle docs helped me answer just about every question. thanks vivienne once again.

sleek_chic, i had to forget about the linux idea. i later installed solaris 10 and i am about installing oracle on it. i had problems with dd command and dual booting as i wanted the windows boot loader (my kid brothers use my PC). i rememver babasin saying something about solaris being cool for oracle.

i need real help here. i am using Oracle BPEL Process Manager. i have problems with callbacks. i initiated and instance and got an audit report which says [Skipped callback "onResult" on partner "client"]. The last activity is an invoke activity which is supposed to be a callback to the client. i Really want to understand WS Adressing and web service callbacks

I never new Oracle only supported Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

I was advised however to use it on solaris as solaris is a more popular platform for Oracle Database.

how can i handle roles and worklists using BPEL.
I want a typical worklist app that users can log in to see pending tasks
The process workflow should also be able to notify users when they have a task to perform.

i consider martins to be a better player than tevez. he is faster, stronger and even more resilient. of course rooney is way ahead of both of em. both tevez and martins don't have a good goal sense only tevez is much worse. speed is an important quality of a striker and tevez really doesn't have it.

there was a chance we got against city when a thru ball was played to tevez. that would have been a typical wazza goal. tevez couldn't shake off the defenders due to lack of speed. i think even martins would have scored that. not to forget that martins got a better jumping power.

i tried installing oracle on Red Hat Linux 9.0. It errored out with unsupported version. Can't oracle be installed Red Hat Linux 9.0?
