i need a miniflat on the mainland but with little traffic to island (yaba, gbagada, alaka estate, surulere, ajao estate, isolo environs, maryland). very modern and clean apartment - tiled floors, POP, spacious parlour i am very flexible with my budget |
Aigbofa:e tire me for the guy o. Prof. Sam was a Nigerian at time of war so I dont understand what traitor means. |
shouldnt had slept with the other girl cos she is ur gf's friend quite disrespectful. You need to first ask ur self what u want in a relationship, if u truly love ur girl and if she loves u. cos it seems the new girl is filling a void that throws up a lot of questions abt ur current relationship with ur gf |
amu ukwu:men nairaland nor go kill person wif laugh |
@Jackieugo. please what is "swaggs" |
this guy dey advertise im business jare. please post pics. maybe peeps like me will subscribe. i desperatley need a fitness workout and it seems campos football is not working |
my ex girl would never accept things especially money. gifts dont mean cost. a shinny crystal ball that displays different wordings at diff times was wht she called her best gift from me. she nor dey send BB & brazilian hair stuffs some girls are independent. also there are some who just live contented lives. that are are the top of maslow's hierachy already |
i don laff tire finish. abeg babe help me do recipe on how to get peeps to say funny things to make me laugh. i am in need of comic relief not punnyic relief |
this is likely related to the sylvia issue. they shuld relax na. at least they not killing & maiming with reckless abandon though |
Valentine should be scrapped. or it should be a day when ladies give guys gifts in cash and kind . and the guys reciprocate with a gift in kind |
i am angry when dayokanu calls people retarded vut i have to agree with him. how really can you compare southern nigerians by looks. two benin peeps will not look the same: one could look dark (shey yoruba abi?) while the other looks fair (ibo??) to original post, you are going to ifnd it difficult to ever prove this. Edo has cultural, linguistic and even political ties with Yoruba more than Igbo. even the urhobo, itsekri and isoko peeps will rather align with the west than the east. also, when we say Edo, do we mean the Edo as a state or the Edos (Binis)? cos some part of Esan are geographically close to Igbo-speaking areas. e.g. Uromi junction in Agbor leads to some Esan towns. My village used to share farmlands with the people from Onicha-Igbo. also those from etsako are more northern than either eastern or western. so Edo (i mean the state)culture is not necessarily homogenous. regarding the "Yoruba prince became benin oba or benin prince became yoruba Oba" story, The story is not the same from both sides. for the yorubas, the Edos (Binis then) banished their Ogiso and asked Oranmiyan to give them one of his sons to rule (Oba Eweka 1). for the Edos, the heir apparent whom they banished, OmoOduwa, is whom the yorubas call Oduduwa. therefore it was still their son that came back to them. the Edos and esan people practice strict monarchy (first son rules) |
and the dying doctor thought he left his best friend a gift, he rather left him with a curse: to kill people |
there is nothing boyish about creating a thread to reply anoda thread. at least in nairaland terms. most peeps here do it jor. so no need castigating the poster. as per original post. apart from the part about favoured @ work (which can be counter-productive @ times) and the payment for a sex both enjoyed, most of these notions have already changed. some women work harder than their husbands. I personally believe women are more disadvantaged. they have to strike a balance between much more than guys. the society expects much more from them. |
so peeps are still loosing sleep over islamic banking. did they force you to bank with them. dont you @ least see some sense in non-interest banking. just hope it will be managed well (naija factor) i am a christian BTW. |
edoyad:now this is a very liberal and objective view devoid of all dogmas and I know edoyad wld be a christian. @OP. truth is you don't get to such positions and not be intelligent. even our current President who is called retardeen cannot be dumb. people @ that level suffer from two things: too much info or too little info. rising through the ranks doesn't take just luck. even @ age 10, i couldn't have believed President Tafawa Balewa was dull/illiterate. sometimes the humble & simple lifestyle of northern intellectuals make southern peeps underrate them. |
nairaland and tribalism. wetin bring yoruba come now. igbo nor dey commit crime |
bayooooooo:abi oo. which job well done. have they gone to search his house and he did not escape. until then |
that laziness thing is really getting overflogged by women. A guy is struggling to make ends meet but because of things outside his control, he isnt bringing enough to the table and then you dump/divorce him (your husband). with this alone, I should be agreeing with Moremi and Sagamite. for me sha, marriage is not by force but i must get married. i also choose to stay with my village mentality about marriage. roll with the sophisticated chicks, marry the rustic but career-oriented chick. and surely get married in naija. cant remember Nigerian laws but it is like 200 naira per month you provide rite ![]() and trust me, there are girls who would stay with their husbands till death do us part. i know a couple and these are the girls I would be marrying. they understand the institution of marriage (something the sophisticated, overseas resident girls dont understand but yet want guys to go into). Cheating/ infidelity is not an excuse for divorce. and some of these girls even have the looks to match so guys (Sagamite, Moremi), just come back to naija to do your wedding at least. |
can i get an executive minilat, modern building spacious parlour and room in gbagada, ajao estate, surulere, yaba environs |
hello. i need HP elitebook 8560w (or any other model) 8GB ram 750GB HD. can you get this? |
Ufeolorun: Ufeolorun:On point. Businesses are setup to make profit and any business owner including Seun and everyone on nairaland will take advantage of poor/lax regulatory framework. so blame the regulators (Government) not the business. Boko Haram is a different matter however. |
nice post there Alh harem. Oil contribution to foreign exchange (exports) is near 100% but not contribution to GDP. contribution to GDP involves more than just exports. so trust me the north has a fair amount of contribution to GDP and i am a proud Niger deltan BTW |
i still dont understand why Abati bothered to respond to sahara reporters. he doesnt owe them no explanation. Sahara is a blog not a registered tabloid. |
seriously i am surprised people still believe sahara reporters. sahara reporters is a blog not a registered newspaper. they recently told some lies abt Total which had no basis or iota of truth in it. |
coming from Fani kayode. i can only laugh at this article. |
@kobojunkie so you agree with GEJ for saying they should come out and dialogue. |
i shuld come to nairaland more often. every lady here is so fine, tall, nice shape/figure and great assets. or maybe i shuldnt come as i cant compete with the guys that are all 6ft+ with 8.5 inch badonski. |
if not for misplaced priorities and hate for the rich, i dont understand the significance of the boy's extravagant lifestyle to the corruption in the petroleum (esp downstream) sector. Mrs. madueke's alleged corruption has no correlation with the pictures. the boy is defending himself cos of the media smear if not there is really nothing to answer to cos there is no charge. lets focus on her alleged corruption/embezzlement of funds not the boy's pictures with Dbanj & Neyo |
my biggest fear for Nigeria is not Jonathan but the hatred of igbos by hausas (esp the muslim hausas)and maybe some yoruba's cos even my parents will not support an ibo girl but are comfortable with a yoruba. the hausa man is partnering with the yoruba to further alienate the ibo. i dont understand the hatred for ibo. every comment i see on nairaland by an hausa man must have a hidden hate remark for ibo. even the ones who are forming de-tribalised still igbos. what is going on? |
i so agree with jarus there. Ribadu & El-Rufai's integrity and consistency is very questionable. I never liked Sanusi cos i saw him as having a northern agenda. But you can't fault his integrity, intellect and consistency. truth is even with my seeing him as more northern than Nigerian, i would likely still vote for him were he to contest as President. he is not just a technocrat. he likes to understand things and actively seeks knowledge. |
