Next time?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess Nigerians should get ready for another price hike next year! |
They'll keep arresting bogus suspects and releasing them. Upside-down government! |
Na wa oh, Lady Winona! Please, stop playing with fire. Why dance at the edge of a frying pan because it's fun and exciting? This is how disaster starts; a little sleep, a little slumber, and before you know it, both your families are thrown into disarray. You need to tell him to stop it! You marriage is worth saving. Go and report yourself to your pastor's wife if you can't handle the lust anymore. |
I can't marry a woman that doesn't love my Mum. Period. In that sense I am very traditional. The woman leaves her family to join my own family - period. If she can't do that, then she needs to go find herself another man! ![]() |
Hmmmn, this isn't how Nigerian banks work!!!!!!!!! All they care about is chasing deposits with young beautiful girls! ![]() PS - Shouldn't this be in the business or career sections? |
Let's not deceive ourselves. Each parent always has a favorite child. However, the reasons for liking one child just a LITTLE bit more than the rest vary. Sometimes, a child behaves or looks just like the mum or dad. Sometimes, the favorite child is the first child, the brainiest child or the most responsible. Occasionally, the favorite child might be the most athletic or the most outgoing. I am my Mum's favorite because we share a LOT of similar traits like generosity to the point of foolishness, outgoing character, last-minute planning, quick tempers and strong empathy for others. My younger sister is probably brainier than I am but she is kinda stingy like my Dad and she is the family introvert (she was my Dad's favorite when he was alive). My other siblings are little teenagers and are completely irrelevant because we the adults don't really think too much about them unless its time to buy them clothes/shoes/electronic gadgets and pay their boarding school fees! They came MUCH later and they have never really fit into our adult world. ![]() |
Use plain vaseline. Nobody reacts to vaseline. |
Oloshi man! I pray he rots in jail and gets regularly serviced by his fellow men. So he couldn't go out to find an ashi, na his daughter he wan use kill body! Oloriburuku oloshi okunrin. |
LOL! That's because the meat is usually cooked in the stew! That way, you can change up your vegetable soup (from okra to ewedu to gbegiri) without having to prepare new meat. As for the oil, dunno, I guess you've been eating at too many Mama Put places. You can reduce the oil when cooking at home. |
freecocoa:Egg yolk? Gross!!!!!!!!! ![]() |
I don't see what the issue is here (but then, I am not familiar with the Igbo culture well enough to know the significance of the wife building the house). With 4 kids, I don't think the woman is going to find another husband. The man needs to tame his ego and let the wife do what's best for the family. With time, his business will pick up and they can use his money to build a second house in the village. |
Metalgoong:Christian men! Where else are you supposed to find a christian man? I know I am going to find my wife in a church! Definitely not in a club. |
The best place to meet eligible Nigerian bachelors is through church, professional/academic events/conferences and at wedding parties! It's a bit more difficult in the U.S. because it's such a huge place and Nigerians are scattered every where. |
I'll rather build. I can take my time with building and I can build everything to my satisfaction and tastes. What's the point of buying a new house, moving in and discovering all sorts of defects and malfunction a year after moving in? Why buy an old house that has had all sorts of inhabitants and all sorts of structurally unsound renovations? |
I discovered that my family had stopped using Baygon and Raid ages ago because of mosquito resistance. Kilit (by Polygard) seems to work well (it's in a yellow and green can). My Mum is pretty sensitive to strong soaps too. She uses Dove soap. |
tonak:Ogbeni, so sorry that you had to go through this. You got played, big time. Now it's time to re-focus yourself and move on. She'll get what's coming to her in due time. |
