Good evening house. Please I need procedures and cost of processing US student visa.from beginning till end

Step 1

Research for schools that suit your profile perfectly in terms of programs they offer , requirements for admission and funding opportunities .

Step 2

Contact the *Graduate Coordinator* telling him why you are interested in the school. You're to introduce yourself talking about your name, Country, Course of Study, GPA, plans for GRE and TOEFL, Research Interests, publication and also why you like his research interests. Conclude the mail by inquiring if there are funding opportunities for your intended program.

Step 3

Prepare for GRE/TOEFL/GMAT (depending on the program requirements)

Step 4
Apply to the schools you choose ( Some schools requires you to apply for funding as you submit your application, some give automatic funding while some requires you to apply for funding *only* after admission offer)



Step 5
Request for your I20
The I20 is the most important Visa document which displays relevant information about your program, cost and funding.

Step 6

Process your SEVIS (fmjfee.com). The SEVIS is a compulsory fee which must be paid before Visa Interview.

Step 7
Apply for Visa.
This requires intense preparation because you're going to be drilled by the Visa Officers.

Step 8
Pay for your flight and fly.

It depends on if someone declines their offer, how fast they decline it and what number you are on the wait list.

When I was waiting for admission in my school last year, the graduate director told me I was on the wait list and I got my acceptance letter the 3rd day.

hello house I want to do Wes evaluation, How much does it cost, how long does it take, which one is the fastest, How do I go about it.

From personal little research, WES evaluation is still the best. In terms of final cgpa evaluation grade, it’s mostly higher than when you use other evaluation services. Thou, it takes time than others. If you’re very luck within 2months. I was unlucky during mine, mine took 6mnths.

Fee: $212 (#77k approx) as at June 24 when I paid for me. You’re to use your Bank Card to pay that to WES. The other fees you would be spending will be to send your transcript(s) and certificate(s) from your school to Wes.

PS: The earlier the better. Start on time if you’re to evaluate with WES.

Yeah! Mine was during Waec submission era. The major delay came when my school is to verify my certificate. Like, it took both Wes and my Sch months. Thou, I also had delay during Waec also but the verification of my certificates was the major delay.

I was unlucky with WES. I started my Wes journey June 24 or so and ended it Dec 03 or so. Very unlucky unlike many other guys whose own were not up to my ‘period of time’

Good Day Guys! I be submitted all my application requirements for APSU, I’m just left with SOA since more than 3months now. All the ones (SOA) I’ve with me don’t / is yet to reach the required amount (13Mplus). My question now is that, can I write to school or ask the GA if it’s possible for them to proceed my admission decision. That I will provide the SOA after that. Actually, I’m even working to get it but it’s delaying me and I’m scared of missing out again because I missed out Spring 2020 due to the delay in my Wes evaluation.

Thanks a lot for the reply. But boss, I’m yet to even submit my application for the Spring, I’m still left with my Transcript submission before i started experiencing the error. I’m applying for Computer Sci bro. How should I go about it now Sir? Because aside the app fee that I’ve paid, I don’t want to go through the application stress again. Pls help out!!

Well, I am applying to one PhD in that school. Everything is complete including recommendation, just to pay n submit.

And yes, their system was down for about a week in December. But it was smooth after that.

Let's go over this. If u applied for spring 2020, n now you want to transfer d application to fall. That should not be possible going by their words. in essence u r trying to submit a new application n they already said all previously unsubmitted applications will be nulled by Dec 5th. I think you need a new application for fall.

But if d problem is that u are still getting that error message about their system upgrade when u try to apply, u type d program u are applying to here, I will try to see if it is same on my end.

But, the best solution is that u need to grab a hold of their administrative assistant. The grad cord no get that kind time. The completed file is already with admin, they just need to agree that your file will be shown to professors for fall review instead of spring. This this have been an easy thing if d admin assistant was well aware beforehand.

Once u submit your application. You can't go back n say u now want to "transfer" to fall. Nope.

I’ve paid the 70$ for the App fee. All I’m left with is just Transcript submission. It was WES that even delayed me.

Try to reach your School NYSC Officer in the MOBILIZATION OFFICE.
