i-smoke-weed: @athiests: You can say all you want to us christians, out of the 100 so called atheists on this forum only 10 are real and the rest na wash
I've seen atheists before, not single minded individual atheists but a FAMILY OF ATHEISTS both when I was schooling and now
They all have something in common, they all look UGLY & FUC¤D up with Very low IQ and extremely anti-social behaviour And this somehow makes christianity true? By the way, what is a 'fake' atheist? Someone pretending to be atheist when he's really a christian? Lol. Religious logic is amazing. . . |

Joshthefirst: hello wiegraf I've decided to speak to you concerning some of the claims you made about justice. Your words were that even a hitler does not deserve hell. No? Do you understand the gravity of what you just said?! Even a hitler doesn't deserve a hell?
Hitler was responsible for the death of 11 million people(gypsies, blacks), including the death of 6 million jews. In a personal account of a man who was present during one of these brutalities said "I saw the body of a woman murdered at my feet, and I saw a boy crawl from underneath and cry mommy! Mommy!"
These man killed millions of people, and you, out of your hatred and unrepentant heart say he does not deserve to be condemned?!
I'll tell you why men always try to debunk God, and create a false image of him:
It is because they know they have violated his law, written in their hearts, and they do not want to answer to him morally.
I'm a criminal, I don't believe the judge exists. For you to make this claim shows that you do not believe rapists and paedophiles should suffer for their wrong doing too.
Well, wiegraf, thank God God doesn't have your twisted sense of judgement. Thank God he's a just judge, and the situation remains the same:
The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord.
Read up on the holocaust. It seems you're ignorant of what happened then to be able to make such an embarrasing and twisted claim. May God have mercy upon you. listen man, Hitler was a monster. agreed, but even I don't believe that he deserves to be tortured for all eternity. all your nonsense about sin and death is your own wahala. the problem with you is that you're too foolish to realize how stoopid you sound. |

Deep Sight: You are not being objective or rational.
Did you not see the apocalypse of his argument in the instance of the example of the leaf? Did you not see the world-ending contrsdiction therein which just showed once and finally that he was spewing empty nonsensical escapist gibberish? To use his eyes to find objective truth about the leaf and say at the same time that what is seen cannot disclose objective truth?
Nor can he escape with appeal to culture and memory for even in the instance of the leaf, it is a plate for one man, food for another and decoration for a third. And yet he still deigned to use his eyes to state some fundamental objective truths about it. This says it all.
If after that, you dont see the point, I can only smile. This is funny. Anyway, i don't think what you keep saying is what Plaetton meant. Maybe i read it wrong. I'm tired of holding forte for him sef. The point is, whatever we deduce from here should not be taken as objective truths, they can hardly pass as conclusive evidence in any case. That is my position in this. |

Mr Troll: COMPREHENSIVE REPORT OF THE END OF YEAR RELIGIOUS SECTION AWARDS ORGANIZNG PANEL
Without having to say much nonsense by way of protocol, I’d like to go straight to the point…
This organization panel was formed with the help of striklymi and we were given the mandate of organizing how this year’s award was going to look like with the following options in mind:
What award(s) is to be given this year?
How to nominate Who has a right to nominate
When to nominate
How to vote
Who has a right to vote
When to vote
Rules and what if anything, the winner(s) get.
The panel members decided to open a thread for the deliberations and each decision was subjected to a vote in which 4 votes were needed in order to carry a motion. The final deliberations are as follows…
1) What award(s) is/are to be given this year?
5 Awards were decided:
A - Best poster for the year B- Best christian poster C - Best Non-christian religious poster D - Best thread E - Best Irreligious poster
2) How to nominate
- Each member can nominate 2 people. - Only active members registered before 01/10/2013 can be nominated. - A member can nominate him/herself if he/she meets the appropriate criterion for nomination as stated above - The 3 nominees with the highest number of nominations will be now stand to be voted for.
3) Who can nominate
Everybody can nominate on condition that they already made at least 30 posts in the religious section. This is excluding folks with known duplicate monikers. For example, Alfa Seltzer is allowed to nominate but all his other ‘Alfa bots’ are not allowed to nominate.
4) When to nominate
Nominations to take place for 5 days from 1st December to 5th December 2013.
5) How to vote
Only one thread to be used for voting in which the 5 categories will be listed. Each voter will state the category and then vote on the moniker that is up for vote.
6) Who has a right to vote
Only those registered before 01/10/2013 that have spent more than 1 day online and have made at least 30 posts on the nairaland religious section.
7) When to vote.
10-15th December 2013(inclusive) for voting.
8.) Rules and what if anything, the winner(s) get.
Each category winner gets one thread on the FP while the overall winner gets a thread stickied for one month
Pls note that option 8 is subject to the agreement of the religious section MODs. Also, if the MODs do agree to the suggestion, the winners will have to come up with threads that are worthy of making FP which will still have to be scrutinized by the MODs. On the other hand, if the FP option is not feasible as decided by the MODs then I personally suggest we make an E-plaque for the various winners.

GET THE POINT NOW? ? ? ? ? ? ? While i saw your first 5 lines, it did not necessarily translate to the second paragraph. THAT is what i was trying to explain to you, we both agreed that what he said was true and correct but where we differed was on whether it was an escapist response and therefore meaningless. You seemed bent on insisting it was so even after several explanations by the poster himself. No matter how he explained it, you kept insisting it was an escapist response and could be used for any and every subject on earth. The thing come tire me. The point is that even if Plaetton agreed to discuss on the significance of the pictures and their arrangement, whatever we finally deduce from them should not be taken as objective truths. I took them on as a form of mental exercise, if the thread had not been derailed so i would have continued further. . . |

wiegraf: Aha, don't have much time to burn, not sure why I'm wasting the little I have on you. This your appeals to emotion mean absolutely nothing. Just as you claim genocide in the bible is good simply because...god is good!! Hitler appealed to emotions as well, jews are bad simply because they're bad. End result?
Omni.xx god isn't in control then.
Choose one, we either have free will or your god isn't omnixx.x.
And don't spout illogical nonsense or quote your nonsense story book. Don't insult my intelligence. You do so I'll be back with quotes from hustler.
Self righteousness is a filthy rag, then what the exactly are you doing now?
You've heard of parole? People getting time off for good behaviour? You've heard of people who've had their punishments mitigated because of other acts of theirs deemed beneficial to society? In fact, you do understand that in order to properly curtail crime, it's advisable to tailor fit the punishment, thereby rewarding good behaviour and reducing potential problems. Eg, if the punishment for armed robbery and murder were the same, then once an armed robber thinks there might be a chance he would be caught, he might as well kill witnesses, no? I mean there's no difference, he might as well do the crime if he's going to do the time.
And btw, most modern societies don't even punish for punishment sake, because they're pissed and want to enact an eye for an eye. The aim is to rehabilitate and prevent, not retribution. The aim is to produce a citezen that would be productive to society, and also make others thinking of becoming criminals think again. But with your yahweh, considering heaven, there's absolutely no need to rehabilitate or prevent. I mean, isn't heaven the final destination? Rehabilitate to what end? Prevent which crimes (or can you still sin in heaven?). It would seem your god just wants to be vindictive, punish people grievously, for eternity. Sometimes even for sins such as being born in the wrong part of the world and simply listening to your parents/society. That's all they are doing, just as you are; listening to tradition. Yet because theirs is the tradition of allah or virshna it seems yah'weh is going to roast them forever.
This is even ignoring the implications of omnixx, which are he's basically punishing people for his own mistakes. Instead of rehabilitating productively, an ideal we modern humans wish we had conquered but have so far failed at due to lack of resources (unlike an omnixx), he chooses to punish forever. For these silly 'sins' no less. But he's good. And he loves you.
Anyways, it seems like this is exactly what you're trying to do; gain favor from yahweh. You've been shown the folly of your ways, time and again, yet you return with the very.same.gaddem.thing... time and again. We've told you time and again we do not care, in fact, if there really were a hell most of us would much rather be there than singing nursery rhymes to feed the ego of an omnixx monster for eternity. The oxymor.on of an omnixx needing you for something sef, let alone singing for eternity...
What in the world do you hope to achieve? Do you actually believe your nonsense has any effect of people capable of the most basic of reason? Look at the amount of nonsense you've spouted in just this post alone, and I'm not even trying. How many times now have these been pointed out to you, yet you still persist? Are you trying to make up for something, some 'sin' you've indulged in that haunts you? You do know this is how people that have something to hide, like say, pe.do priests, behave, right? Is there something you want to tell us? chai! . You don kill am! |
