The PSG superstar arrived at the Estádio da Luz carrying a large speaker and showcased some of his dance moves on his way into the dressing room.

For those who have been watching PSG in the Champions League this season, Neymar carrying a speaker isn’t new. Against Borussia Dortmund in the Round of 16, we saw the Brazil international with a much smaller speaker dancing in front of the Dortmund squad.

Christianity EtcRe: The World's Pain Is Coming To An End Soon by Mryacks: 6:10pm On Aug 23, 2020
Interesting15:
The intense pain of the world is an indication that the womb of the heavens is pregnant with something spectacular that will imprint true smile on the faces of the people residing in the earth.

God is very much aware of the unpleasant things going on in the world (brought about by sin and disobedience to His loving instructions). In spite of it all, in spite of the rise of sin and sinners with their wicked and evil works, God won't stop loving the earth He created, and He remain eager to install true peace and pleasantness in the earth realm.

God is raising people (His own sons and daughters) from the nations of the world, and He is molding them into divine solution-carriers which He will use to solve some of the myriad of problems the world is facing - talk about poverty, sickness, bad governance, untimely death, unemployment, all manner of negative addictions, and so on. These sons and daughters of YAHWEH (who must have made the genuine decision to surrender their totality to GOD), will be placed in strategic positions, sectors and industries. They will be duly empowered by God, will start operating in an enhanced level of power and intelligence, and their activities and efforts will lessen the pains of the world to an extent - with the aim of bringing more people into the kingdom of God.

However, the ultimate and perfect solution to the world's problems will be experienced when Jesus Christ returns with His Saints, to establish His utopian rule on earth. Until the perfect God will return to establish His perfect Kingdom here, the earth will continue to experience unpleasantness and pain - since it is currently controlled by imperfect and fallen humans.

You should note that before Jesus Christ will return to establish His reign on earth for a season, the Rapture will first take place. The rapture is the next big event that will transport genuine and true children of God (both dead and living) to the presence of Christ in the skies, where we will, among other superb things, participate in a feast known as the Marriage Feast of the Lamb.

Nevertheless, immediately after the rapture, the Great Tribulation will begin, and the Antichrist will be given power to torment those left behind. The Antichrist will force people to receive the mark of the beast (666) either on their forehead or arm. Those that won't receive it would be vehemently tormented: They won't be able to buy and sell, they will suffer violent persecutions with no one to help. And according to the graphic illustration given by the Lord Jesus about the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:15-28), many won't be able to withstand the torments for long (that is, they can't help but to receive the mark of the beast) BUT: THOSE THAT WILL RECEIVE THE MARK OF THE BEAST WILL BE ETERNALLY DAMNED IN THE LAKE OF FIRE AT THE APPOINTED TIME.

Hence, wisdom demands that everyone of us should understand the signs and know that this is the time to get closer to God and establish a true and sincere individual relationship with Him. This is the time to forsake our sinful ways and start serving God in spirit and in truth. This is the time to embrace the Lordship of Christ, and make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior.

If you are yet to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, simply do so now. Call upon His Name wherever you are, ask Him to come into Your life, and you will be saved! You will be happier if you forsake your current sinful lifestyle, as your holy relationship with God (your Creator) will empower you to have dominion over everything He has created (which is the Will of God for you).

You only start living and enjoying life only after you make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior.
God bless u...
Christianity EtcRe: Six Things A Christian Should Never Do - Tunde Korede by Mryacks: 10:21am On Aug 23, 2020
TundeKorede:
The Word “Christian” is not an emblem. It is the name given to the real followers of Jesus Christ. There are many who professed to be Christians today, yet, they are nothing but unbelievers.

Christians are expected to possess Christ-like character. They are supposed to be representatives of Christ on earth. They are supposed to possess certain qualities that set them apart from unbelievers.

However, there are certain qualities that are repugnant to Christ-like character. Also, there are things a good Christian should never do. Come with me as I highlight and expound them one after the other.

Six Things A Good Christian Should Never Do
• Never Hate

1 John 2:9,11
[9]He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
[11]But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

Your Christian living is faulty if you have certain people you hate. If you have developed deep hatred towards certain people whom God created, you are not a good Christian.

More so, the lifeblood of Christianity is love and no true believer should hate any human being. The Bible says you abide in darkness, if you hate people.

No matter what others have done for you, the word, “Hatred” should not be found in you anymore. We are commanded to love everyone. You are not to love believers and hate unbelievers.

God loves the World and He gave us His only begotten son. That’s the kind of love every Christian should possess. God expects us to love all men, irrespective of their belief, lifestyle, exposure, tribe, or nationality.

So, one of the things a Christian should never do is to hate people. Hatred is true mark of our fellowship with the devil – darkness. The true mark of a believer is love.

[/b]• A Good Christian Should Never Hold Grudges Against Anyone[/b]
Ephesians 4:31
[31]LET ALL BITTERNESS, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Biblically, every believer is to put away every from of malice. How can you call yourself a Christian and find it easier to hold grudges against people?

Grudge is a deep-seated and/or long-term animosity or ill-feeling about something or someone. It may be because of a past bad deed or mistreatment.

Definitely, people will offend us. They will do specific things that will incite us against them. But a good believer will not keep malice with them. We are to love them for who they are.

Candidly, if you are referred to as a Christian. And you love to hold grudges against people, my dear, you are not a true Christian. Because a true Christian is to put away malice.

Today, forgive that person who have offended you. Start greeting him/her if he/she isn’t greeting you. End your dispute today. Who knows when Jesus will come back? Nobody.

Once again, a true Christian will never hold grudges against his fellow. Hence, he forgiven them irrespective of the levity of the sin.

Wrong Reasons For Fasting

• Don’t Use Your Tongue Wrongly
James 1:26
[26]If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.

You may be the type who attends Church from Sunday to the next Sunday. But whenever you come back home, you use your tongue wrongly. The Bible says your religion (Christianity) is false.

Hence, a good believer should be able to bring his tongue under subjects. You should be able to keep your mouth shut at times. And you should know when to talk.

People will doubt your testimony of salvation if you speak foul words. Believers should steer clear of corrupt communication such as abusive language, curses are coarse jesting.

Also, if you are able to control your tongue, you are a perfect man (James 3:2). Don’t allow your tongue to control you as a believer.

Indeed, as a good Christian, there are some things you should never say. There are words that should never come out of your mouth.

Weigh your words. Don’t just talk. Represent Christ well on earth by bringing your tongue to subjection.

• Refusal To Forgive People
Ephesians 4:32
[32]And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Refusal to forgive people when they offend you is a sign of false Christianity. Christianity is a religion of love. And if you love your neighbors, you will forgive them.

Check yourself if there is any root of bitterness in you. Anytime you find it difficult to forgive people, you are portraying yourself as an unbeliever.

Those who fail to forgive others, will not be forgiven by God. We all make mistakes and we fall short of God’s glory at times. Yet, God forgives us.

Then, who are you not to forgive all men? Any man can offend you. So, be prepared for it. As they offend you, forgive them.

• Never Ignore The Need Of Others
James 2:15-17
[15]If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
[16]And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
[17]Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Every believer is to authenticate his belief in God through works. Show me a Christian without works and I will show you an irresponsible believer.

Let your good works speak for you. It’s unfair for you to see the needy and neglect them. If you have truly given your life to Christ. The Love in you will compel you to give to others.

Who are those in need around you? The best way to display your Christianity to them is by helping them. For faith without works is dead.

Sadly, there are innumerable wealthy Christians today, who hoard their wealth to themselves alone. They do not care about the wellbeing of others.

Yet, they boast and show off their wealth to people in order to impress them. Even an average believer would tell you that, he/she will start giving when he/she become stinking rich.

Many of us have failed in this aspect. Let’s forget about giving to receive more. The nature in us should compel us to change lives. If we give in order to receive, it means we are selfish.

Let’s change and start helping people right now. Start from where you are right now. Don’t wait until you are too wealthy.

• Never Forget The Rapture
James 5:7
Therefore be patient, brethren, until the COMING OF THE LORD, The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains.

Sadly, many who professed to be Christians have forgotten the coming of our Lord. If you ask an average Christian what he/she is expecting today.

He/she will say he/she is expecting to be rich. This is wrong as riches will perish with this world. We should fix our hopes on eternity things not on earthly things.

I hope this blessed you? Please, make sure you leave a comment after reading. Let me know your thought.

FamilyRe: Three Most Important Things by Mryacks: 3:48am On Aug 19, 2020
VLTA:
Three Most Important Priorities in You Life

1.The first and most important priority in your life as a believer should be your relationship with God.

Reasons Why You Need God:

i. The only security to your eternal destiny is your relationship with God.
ii. The second reason you need God is because true and sustainable success comes from God. (Daniel 11:32b)
iii.  Peace and fulfillment;
The highest index for measuring wealth and freedom is peace; only God can guarantee genuine peace and fulfilment.

Romans 5:1 (KJV)
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

John 14:27 (KJV)
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

As a believer, when God’s peace does not find expression in you, death is being ministered to you.

2. Your family (physical and spiritual); it is the most important unit in the society.

When all else fails, your family will almost always be your strongest support and motivational system.

The most important key to sustainable relationship, family and marriage is knowledge.

Proverbs 24:3-4 (KJV)
3. Through wisdom is an house built; and by understanding it is established:
4. And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

Ephesians 5:22 (KJV)
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Love in marriage is unconditional but stability and fulfillment is highly conditional. It is the responsibility of every woman to respect her husband; a woman’s biggest advantage in marriage is her ability to master submission. The major need of every woman is security and emotional fulfillment. When men provide these, it communicates love to the woman. You become a blessing when you constantly improve on yourself.
Fulfillment and stability is predicated on the mutual respect and value provided in marriage. Value is the first virtue and then skill.
Virtue is the degree of one’s similarity to the character of Christ.

3. The third most important thing in your life is your God given assignment.

Your assignment answers the question “why”.

As a believer, your greatest fulfillment will come from knowing that you have lived your life serving the purposes of God and blessing humanity.

Purpose gives meaning and value to everything you do.

Your purpose is your contribution to Kingdom advance. Many lives are dependent on the fulfillment of your purpose.

FamilyRe: 10 Ways To Marry The Wrong Person by Mryacks: 3:42am On Aug 19, 2020
prof2007:
Blind love is not the way to choose a spouse. Here are practical tools for keeping your eyes wide open.

With divorce rates over 50%, too many are clearly making a serious mistake in deciding who to spend the rest of their life with. To avoid becoming a "statistic," try to internalize these 10 insights:

#1. EXPECTING HIM/HER TO CHANGE AFTER YOU'RE MARRIED.
The classic mistake. Never marry potential. The golden rule is, if you can't be happy with the person the way he or she is now, don't get married. As a colleague of mine so wisely put it, "You actually can expect people to change after they're married... for the worse!" So when it comes to the other person's spirituality, character, personal hygiene, communication skills, and personal habits, make sure you can live with these as they are now.

#2. FOCUSING MORE ON CHEMISTRY THAN CHARACTER
Chemistry ignites fire, but good character keeps it burning. Beware of the "I'm in love" syndrome. "I'm in love" often means, "I'm in lust." Attraction is there, but have you carefully checked out this person's character?
Here are 4 character traits to definitely check for:
-- Humility: Does this person believe that "doing the right thing" is more important than personal comfort? Do I want to be more like this person? Would I like my child to turn out like him or her?
-- Kindness: Does this person enjoy giving pleasure to other people? How does s/he treat people s/he doesn't have to be nice to? Does s/he do volunteer work? Give to charity?
-- Responsibility: Can I depend on this person to do what s/he says s/he's going to do?
-- Happiness: Does this person like himself? Does s/he enjoy life? Is s/he emotionally stable?

Ask yourself: Do I want to be more like this person? Do I want to have a child with this person? Would I like my child to turn out like him or her?

#3. NOT UNDERSTANDING WHAT A WOMAN NEEDS MOST
Men and women have unique emotional needs, and more often than not, it is the man who just doesn't "get it." The unique need of a woman is to be loved - to feel she is the most important person in her husband's life. The husband needs to give her consistent, quality attention.

#4. NOT SHARING COMMON LIFE GOALS / PRIORITIES
There are 3 basic ways we connect with another person:
-- chemistry and compatibility.
-- sharing common interests.
-- sharing common life goals.

Make sure you share the deeper level of connection that sharing life goals provide. After marriage, two of you will either grow together or grow apart. To avoid growing apart, you must figure out what you're "living for," while you're single - and then find someone who has come to the same conclusion as you. This is the true definition of a "soul mate." A soul mate is a goal mate - 2 people who ultimately share same understanding of life's purpose and therefore share same priorities, values and goals.

#5. GETTING INTIMATELY INVOLVED TOO QUICKLY
Intimacy before the commitment of marriage can be a big problem because it often precludes a fully honest exploration of important issues. Physical involvement tends to cloud one's mind. And a clouded mind is not inclined to make good decisions.

It is not necessary to take a "test drive" in order to find out if a couple is physically compatible. If you do your homework and make sure you are intellectually and emotionally compatible, you don't have to worry about it. Of all the studies done on divorce, incompatibility in the intimate arena is almost never cited as a main reason for divorce.

#6. NO DEEPER EMOTIONAL CONNECTION WITH THE PERSON
To evaluate whether you have a deeper emotional connection or not, ask: "Do I respect and admire this person?"
This does not mean, "Am I impressed by this person?" We are impressed by a Mercedes. We do not respect someone because they own a Mercedes. You should be impressed by qualities of creativity, loyalty, determination, etc. Also ask: "Do I trust this person?" This also means, "Is he/she emotionally stable? Do I feel I can rely on him/her?

#7. CHOOSING SOMEONE WITH WHOM YOU DON’T FEEL EMOTIONALLY SAFE
Ask yourself the following questions: Do I feel calm, peaceful and relaxed with this person? Can I fully be myself and express myself with this person? Does this person make me feel good about myself? Do you have a really close friend who does make you feel this way? Make sure the person you marry makes you feel the same way! Are you afraid of this person in any way? You should not feel you need to monitor what you say because you are afraid of how the other person will view it. If you're afraid to express feelings and opinions openly, there's a problem with the relationship.

Another aspect of feeling safe is that you don't feel the other person is trying to control you. Controlling behaviors are a sign of an abusive person. Beware of someone who is always trying to change you. There's a big difference between "controlling" and "making suggestions." A suggestion is made for your benefit; a control statement is made for their benefit.

#8. NOT PUTTING EVERYTHING ON THE TABLE
Anything that bothers you about the relationship must be brought up for discussion. Bringing up the uncomfortable stuff is the only way to evaluate how well two of you communicate, negotiate, and work together. Over the course of a lifetime, difficulties will inevitably arise. You need to know now, before making a commitment: Can you resolve your differences and find compromises that work for both of you? Never be afraid to let the person know what bothers you. This is also a way for you to test how vulnerable you can be with this person. If you can't be vulnerable, then you can't be intimate. The two go hand in hand.

#9. USING THE RELATIONSHIP TO ESCAPE PERSONAL PROBLEMS & UNHAPPINESS
If you are unhappy while single, you'll probably be unhappy when married, too. Marriage does not fix personal, psychological and emotional problems. If anything, marriage will exacerbate them. If you are not happy with yourself and your life, take responsibility to fix it now while you are single. You'll feel better, and your future spouse will thank you.

#10. INVOLVEMENT IN A TRIANGLE
To be "triangulated" means a person is emotionally dependent on someone or something else while trying to develop another relationship. A person who hasn't separated from his or her parents is the classic example of triangulation. People can also be triangulated with things as well, such as work, drugs, Internet, hobbies, sports or money.

Be careful that you and your partner are free of triangles. The person caught in the triangle cannot be fully emotionally available to you. You will not be their number one priority. And that's no basis for a marriage.

robosky02:
Top 5 Nigerian Footballers In Serie A History

The Italian Serie A has at differnet times witnessed talented Nigerian footballers glamourize the top flight competition. As Serie A fans anxiously wait to see how new arrival, Victor Osimhen, will turn out for Napoli, Complete Sports’ OLUYEMI OGUNSEYIN highlights five top picks among the 34 Nigerians who have played in the Serie A.

Obafemi MARTINS: (Reggiana 2001, Inter 2001-2006)

The Nigerian caught the eye of football enthusiast in Italy – in Serie A and indeed around Europe with his lightning speed acceleration and pace.

His first club in Europe was Reggiana where he broke into the first team and after just two appearances for the Teste quadre, he caught the eye of Inter Milan scouts who immediately signed him up for €750,000 in 2001.

In his first season, he scored 23 goals for Inter’s primavera side, helping them to the Italian Under-18 title and this form resulted in a chance to impress in the first team.

His pace quickly earned him a reputation and was a major problem defenders had to deal with. But it was only after a couple of seasons with the Nerazzurri that he became a first team regular for the Milan club, forming a formidable partnership with Brazlilan, Adriano whose power and strength complimented the sheer speed of Martins.

He scored 49 goals in 137 games in Italy. He just made a return to the game with Chinese Super League side, Shanghai Shenhua.

Nwankwo KANU: (Inter Milan -1996-1999)

Another Nigerian that is well known and respected in the game, Kanu is one of the biggest names in African football.

He moved to Italy as a high profile youngster following a successful period with Ajax in which he played a part in their Champions League success over Milan.

He was considered by many as ‘the rock’ in the heart of that Inter defence, and his unassuming style, not to mention his trademark hairstyles made him stand out among his team-mates.

But at the end of the 1998–99 season following clashes with former Internazionale coach, Mircea Lucescu, it was clear his future at the Nerazzurri was in doubt.

Once Marcello Lippi was made boss, he was told to look for a new club. It wasn’t long before he found one, Milan stepped in and offered him a chance to remain at the San Siro.

Although, his time with the Rossoneri was less than happy as he only managed four appearances for the club before moving onto England in 2000, then after jumping from club to club, he announced his retirement in 2008.

He played for Reggiana and after an impressive spell with the Teste quadre he moved to Cologne, then Ajax and later turned out for Juventus with whom he won the Intertoto Cup in 1999.
He was a technically gifted midfielder with good passing ability and played about 40 Italian domestic league games.

In January 2006, at the age of 31, Oliseh retired from professional football after playing a half season for Belgian club, Genk.

Ogenyi ONAZI (Lazio – 2011–16)

Onazi joined Lazio in 2011 following appearances at the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup in which Nigeria reached the final on home soil, losing to Switzerland.

Onazi was first promoted to the Lazio first team during the 2011–12 season after appearing at youth level. He made his Serie A debut as a substitute in the penultimate match of the season, a 2–0 victory over Atalanta.

In the following 2012–2013 season, Onazi was granted more playing time Under coach Vladimir Petković featuring in a defensive midfield.

On 7 March 2013, he scored his first goal for Lazio against Stuttgart in the last 16 of the Europa League. He scored his first Serie A goal in a 3–1 win over Inter Milan on 8 May 2013.
