Reelafonja: me and my guys are arguing just now.what exactly is arsenal problem is it the players or the coach.
cc lalasticlala help a bro out.my stand is that the team need proper reorientation. A combination of different factors from the club as a whole but mostly it's the average players, mentality, wrong tactics and wrong player combination that costs them over and over. Arsenal hardly ever have a balanced defence and middlefield. Too many same type of players playing in wrong positions. If you want a DM buy one and let them play in that position. Don't buy an attacking Midfielder and ask him to play as a DM. Or a winger then ask him to play left back. Except when injuries cripple the team and some players need to cover some positions. They need a clear out and then buy players that mean business. Players like Kolasinac, Lacazette, Ozil, Midland Niles, Xhaka, Mustafi, Wilock and maybe even Bellerin need to go. They are too unserious. And then finally, for God sake, always get two different types of players for same position so that depending on the kind of opposition you deploy the players that will fit that game. This is my submission as a paines Arsebal fan.. |

Sports › Re: Ronaldo Earns £14m More From Instagram Than Juventus, Putting Messi To 2nd Place by Mryacks: 9:08pm On Jun 08, 2020 |
obembet: Ronaldo is Instagram's top earner after raking in £14million MORE from his posts than he does playing for Juventus. According to a new report from Buzz Bingo, the Portuguese superstar has retained his crown as the social media site's highest earner.
The 35-year-old, who also has the most followers on Instagram at 222m, raked in £41.7m from 43 sponsored posts in the past 12 months.
In comparison, Ronaldo was making £27.3m from his salary at Juventus, before any coronavirus-related pay cuts.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner saw an increase of £3.5m from his Instagram earnings in 2019 by pocketing an average of £971,000 per sponsored post.
Over the past year he promoted Nike, his fragrance CR7 Play it Cool and even an EMS training device called 'Sixpad'.
Ronaldo's longstanding rival Lionel Messi was beaten into the second spot after his sponsored posts collected a total of £25.2m, or £631,000 every time he made one.
The Barcelona captain has money-making partnerships with Adidas and regularly posts pictures of his globe-trotting lifestyle.
David Beckham was once again the highest-paid British star on the rich list for his posts to his 63m followers.
The 45-year-old is such a hit on the social media platform he scooped a whopping £9.6m despite retiring over seven years ago.
Some of his paid Instagram partnerships included posts for Tudor Watch, Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Kent & Curwen.
In a list dominated by athletes, Neymar is the fifth-highest sportsman after netting £6.7m from the social media site this year with a reported average of £617,000 per paid post.
Interestingly Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has the second most sponsored posts of all celebrities at 47, four above Ronaldo.
Yet the Poland international's lack of off-field exposure means he can only fetch around £76k per post and made just £3.58m for his troubles this year.
And despite being considered one of football's most marketable stars, Manchester United star Paul Pogba is ninth on Instagram's highest-earning athletes.
The Frenchman, who has a £290,000-a-week wage packet at Old Trafford, can make an additional £181k per sponsored post and scored £1.8m this year.
That was enough to see Pogba finish just above former Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
The £400k-a-week Belgian captain made £1.4m this year following his £122k fee for advertising to fans on social media.

Christianity Etc › Re: What's The Best Way Of Changing Your Church? by Mryacks: 8:30pm On Jun 08, 2020 |
chelseamann: I actually don't have any problem with the church, pastor or any member. It's just that my heart is no longer in the church, as in, I am just forcing myself to attend it's Sunday services and because of the fact that my heart is not there, I don't enjoy the services unlike before.
Few tips on why I lost interest: 1. The church is too close to my house 2. The environment is quite not presentable 3. It's more of a family church, 4. The way his son( the junior pastor runs the church as if it's his personal business, too authoritative). Honestly, I totally fell out of love with the church and I wish to change. So what's the best way to do that without hurting or causing problems?? Go to where you feel comfortable hearing the undiluted word of God... |
Christianity Etc › Re: How Can A Pastor Show Christ-Love To Female Members Without Flirting With Them? by Mryacks: 8:28pm On Jun 08, 2020 |
seyi360: A Pastor knows that the development of his local assembly rests on God and women. Women's influence on church growth is in no doubt.
Women are gifted with the subtle ability to multiply a congregation by word of mouth especially. Hence, a serious Pastor must take women's department seriously.
However, in the attempt to cater for them, he may be misinterpreted, misconstrued and misrepresented. Which raises the critical question.
How can a Pastor draw the line between genuine care for his female members and flirting with them? First of all, be pure and intentional in the deepest part of your heart and resist the temptation to go beyond normal bible principles when rendering any help or services to women...pray and ask for God's grace to do your work.. |
Christianity Etc › Re: 4 Lessons From The Parable Of Talents by Mryacks: 8:24pm On Jun 08, 2020 |
JourneytoEL: 1. You have a gift from God
Every Christian has a gift from God and these gifts are unequally distributed. Dele can have the gift of prophecy, deliverance and healing while his twin brother Chike can have the gift of singing. Esther can have the gift of evangelism and composing songs while her best friend Dinma can be good at interpreting dreams. No matter how big or small you are you have a gift. Your position and career can also be God's gift to you and you have the responsibility of using the gift/career for the Glory of the God. Been a doctor can be God's gift to you and you have the responsibility of giving the hope of Christ to your patients in despair.
Been a lawyer can be yours and you have the responsibility of fighting for justice. Same with the actors, musicians, lecturers, graphic artists, writers, policemen, instrumentalists, and the list is endless. Even if you are great at swepping and cleaning, use that gift to work for God. Been alive alone is a gift. Your youth and health is also a gift. Ask yourself now, what is my gift and how can I use it to win souls for God.
2. Don't be jealous over your neighbour's gift.
God will only give you what you can handle. Vs 15 says and He gave each according to his ability. God gave you your gift because in His wisdom he knows you can handle it. So, why get jealous over another's. Can you handle the cross that comes with his gift? Can you withstand the challenges he faced while growing his gift? Don't be envious of another's gift rather praise God for yours and for others too and work towards using yours for His kingdom. Remember, the spirit of envy comes from the enemy, repent of every envious thought you have ever had towards others and pray for the Grace not to do it again.
3. How you use your gift can affect your journey in life.
You have been praying for a promotion at work or more clients and when it does not happen as you wish you say, there is no God, if he exists he hates me. But, the message from God to you today is, how did you work for him with what you had.
Vs 23 says “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. The more you labour for God, the higher your elevation according to His wish. Repent from lukewarmness and pray for the anointing to work for him.
4. You will give an account one day.
Always remember that the day is coming when you will stand before His throne and give an account of how you used your gift.
John 15:2 says, He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. Refuse to be he that bears no fruit today. The best time to make that decision is now. Pray to God for the strength to work for him and he will answer you.
