Like I said in that other thread, the discussion of when to leave without a pressing need to do so is a lower income/poor man question.

If your parents can comfortably house you with a bit of privacy, stay put and leverage on their housing as much as possible to build wealth.

Some people have saved their rents while at home and moved from their parents' home to their own home.

Only ensure that while at your parents', you pick some bills as a sign of maturity and responsibility:

I am sure that when you get to a certain age, your parents will acknowledge you have relationships and give you the needed space if you are not changing partners like underwears.

No sensible parent would stop a young man/lady of 24/25 years from a weekend getaway at a lover's place or hotel if you have established the relationship at home and you have proven to be responsible especially sexually.

Neither would they stop you for a late night hang out once in a while with friends.

Obviously coming back home drunk the first time might tell them you are not mature enough to handle such privileges going forward.

I prayed and didn't get answers. It got me thinking, why do some people get answers and I don't. Maybe, I am doing it the wrong way or am I doing it with an unclear conscience or am I in doubt? what's wrong?

1) You may have been asking amiss and with wrong motives

What are your intentions? Are they right? God is not a man that he can be deceived he searches your hearts and knows your genuine intentions. Are you praying so that people will say: haa! she is a prayer warrior (like the Pharisee) or are you really seeking a connection and pouring out to God. Are you praying to boast to men that your prayers get answered?
Check your motives dear loved one.
Soln: Keep asking God to teach you his ways that you may die to pride or showmanship. Consciously rebuke those thoughts when they come. You have the power of resurrection in you.
2) He will answer you.

Come confidently to his throne of mercy and grace.
Some come with "let me try if this thing will even work" Hmmm...(I did that before)
God is more willing to answer you than you are to ask. (Jeremiah 29:12)
He loves you and will hear you when you cry out (Psalm 106:43-45)

3) The prayer of a righteous man:

Sincerely ask God for forgiveness for the sins you have done. But wait, you can't use God. You can't apologize just to get what you want from him and turn back to your evil ways.
Life in Christ is the best. Choose it.

4) Ask the holy spirit to help u:

He is the helper. He will help you even when words can't express how you feel (isn't he a good God that even provides help when our strengths have failed)

5) Ask in Jesus name:

The father will give you whatever you ask of him in my name. Jesus is the key to get to the father. (Note this it is important)

6) Pray his word:
Give God his words and the promise of his words will be your portion (Don't forget to do it with faith). Pray the bible. As you study the word daily if any part speaks to you, use it as a prayer. It is his word and you know it is important to him. Write it done and make prophetic declarations about them

7)Thank God
Gratitude is very important. Even if you didn't see the manifestation yet (Philippians 4:6)
It is pride that makes you not to thank him (2 Chronicles 32:25)
Thank him cos he has already done it for you.

Submit it to his will:
Patience is important. Wait! it may not be time yet. But whilecyou wait what should you do?...Thanksgiving cos he has done it already.

Some prayers need you to call those faithful to help you so that their faith can help your faith (Matt 18:19) (James 5:14-15)

Faith is the bedrock. No prayer works without faith. Forget about the problem. It is difficult I know but you have to try dear loved one.
Devil will bring doubt, confess the assurance of the answered prayer. Dance when ever you remember it. Cos it has been answered.
You can also make a covenant with God (some kind of petitions need this) Let's the spirit lead you in this..he will speak to you about it and how to go about it. You are blessed

Serving God requires consistency. It is your consistency in serving God that determines how big your victory will be. When you do things half way you either get no result or get half result. But when you do things in a complete way, you’ll definitely get an outstanding result. Most of the times, we are not always patient with God because we want everything to happen fast. God has always been the one that has been patience with us right from the creation of the universe. Though, I understand that we’re in the jet age, but things might not happen that way, because t God’s thinking is far higher than ours and his ways is far higher than ours.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord . [9] For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Let’s take fore instance, a student of any level in academics, he or she must start from the basics. He must go through some learning, test and finally an examination before he can be promoted to the next level. For the student to be promoted and to get outstanding result, he must be self disciplined and consistence in doing the things that are right, if not, he might not get promoted or even graduated.

The same thing applies to an apprentice. If an apprentice is learning a trade, he must keep coming to the field in order to learn more and to also add to the knowledge he had already acquired. He cannot afford to be outdated and stagnant because his service or trading might not be needed even it’s eventually needed, there might be limitations because of his lack of knowledge.

Many a great people in the Bible were a consistent and persistent lovers of the things of God. They’re always doing the right thing always despite their challenges and oppositions. We must learn from these people. David, Joseph, Daniel, Esther etc. Are a great examples.

Some times, God tests us with a blessing, in so doing, he uses that breakthrough to test our faithfulness and consistency, but it’s a pity that some fumbled along the way and finally later missed out on the big packages. Either you’re still waiting on the lord for something, or you want more because he’s the river that never runs dry, just be consistent in serving him.

Here Are 3 Keys to be Consistent

1. Self disciplined

You cannot be consistent if you’re not self disciplined. You must make up your mind not follow the crowd. Because to follow the crowd is to be lost in the crowd. Many people were following Jesus in the crowd but only the woman with the issue of blood got her divine healing because she was focused and was determined not to get lost in the crowd. She was in the crowd while going to touch the hem of his garment but she was not lost in the crowd, she was self disciplined, focused and determined. That brings us to the second one which is

2. Determination

Determined people are always successful. They never give up no matter what happens, they just kept on going no matter the oppositions. Joseph and Daniel are a great examples. The former was thrown in a pit, while the latter was thrown in to the lion’s den. Yet they never gave up, they were still determined, and the at the end, they became a commander.

Be determined; be strong. Don’t be vague and thoughtless, but have a plan and work your plan. God, through Christ, has provided a way for us to live an amazing life, but we need to continually make choices that agree with God. You have one life to live, so live it fully and refuse to drift along, letting other people and circumstances make your decisions for you.

Anyone who wants to be consistent in serving God must be determined so stay determined.

3. Focus

You must be focus if you want to be consistence in serving God. You must not be carried away by the wind. A man of focus has vision and a man of vision escape confusion. Peter was walking on the sea because his eyes was focused on Jesus. The moment he looked at the wind and removes his eyes from Jesus, he began to sink. That simply means Looking unto Jesus is the key focus of living a victorious life, looking away from Jesus is the distraction of this world and is defeat.

When I gave my life to Jesus at a very tender age, I thought it will be an experience that will be void of challenges but as I grew and life began to take away my innocence, I suddenly came face to face with the reality that I can never ever live a sinless life. I constantly battle with addictions, bad habits, and sins then fear crept in and I began to doubt my salvation, I began to doubt my chances of ever making heaven.

But I became liberated when I found out that GOD is never hard on me. All he wants me to do is to never ever condemn myself because I struggle with sins and addictions even after I have accepted Christ as savior(Romans 8:1) but that I continually work out my salvation with fear and trembling(Philippians 2:12) and this simply means that I must never find pleasure in sins, but acknowledge my weaknesses, but if I do sin, I can always come to him to ask for forgiveness, mercies, and strength to carry on(1 John 2:1)even if I struggle with sins till the point of death...

The narrative above applies to many believers who had at a point accepted Jesus but still struggled with their salvation afterward.

The secret the Devil does not want believers to understand is that the moment you give your life to Jesus, you are guaranteed a place in heaven if you do not give up on yourself because GOD will never ever give up on you. The devil will constantly accuse you with your sins so that you can give up your salvation but the gospel truth is that Your bad habits, addictions, and even sins can never ever separate you from the love of GOD as long as you are always willing to let go and allow GOD to help you.
Just as it is written...Romans 8 Verses 38 to 39. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

No matter the sins, addictions or bad habits you struggle with, you can do away with them totally if you sincerely want to. The biggest problem is that people always believe they can fight the battles on their own but it is impossible for anyone to do that...all you need is ask the Holy Spirit to help you overcome whatever bad habit, addiction, and sins you battle with and you will be amazed how easy it will be for you to hate those vices you thought you can never do without.

The bottom line is that as long as you come to Jesus, you are guaranteed heaven if you don't give up on yourself even if you struggle with sins till the day you die...
