I was encouraging my boy to carry a baby in church today but the boy refused and told me to carry the baby myself. I was trying to see how he will react to a newborn.

My question 2day is this, which EDD should we follow?
My first scan gave me 2nd march while with subsequent scans, my EDD has been reducing.
The latest one is 18 february. So which one do I follow?

Are u an oncologist? Even if u are, nairaland is not the place to ply ur trade.

@joysolo, just take it in stride, it will pass. Don't take any drugs just keep urself hydrated.
I experienced same over the weekend after taking goathead, it wa not funny. I was running to toilet for three days straight with bad stomach pain.
Speak with ur doc to be on the safe side.

St edwin, I can stand on it that its better to use glycated haemoglobin test instead of the blood glucose test. If a patient has a level over 6percent, u can immediately say that person has diabetes. The world is more civilised now and even WHO has approved glycated heamo test for diabetes diagnosis.
It is also a good tool to monitor patients compliance.

You cannot categorically say if your blood sugar is 121mg/dl ,u are diabetic. You might have consumed something that might cause a sugar spike at that moment, it doesn't mean u are diabetic.

The best method to detect diabetes is through the glycated haemoglobin test which test for your average blood sugar for 3 months.

@rukemi, its a yoruba thingy. Wat I will advice u is, allow them do theirs in the morning.so that by 12 noon u can leave the place to ur own house and arrange a small party for ur neibors and friends in the evenin.I know it might cost extra but I understand wat it means to celebrate a first child.

It was a private hosp oh and my dh usually greases their palm when he takes me for ANC so mayb dats y they were nice.

@favoredgal, slap ke? In delivery room? I will so deal with the nurses, they will not try it again in their life.when delivering a baby, ur body automatically tells u to push when its time.

@nice, sometimes babies take days off to rest so don't fret, God is in control.
Or babys back is turned outside. He or she might be kicking ur intestines and u won't feel it outside.

I think after all the poop came out, there was now enuf space for baby to come.upon the fact that I had been stooling from home and I have not even had breakfast then.

Its just now that that' good good' that doc was saying sounded funny. It was not funny @ that time.
The nurses were even chatting with me but when the pain became unbearable, I couldn't talk again. That was when they went to call the doctor.

@byvan, I pooped when I was having my first baby too.
After all the inducing, I told doc I wanted to poo and he asked me to do it on the bed . I was in so much pain that I didn't look at anybodys face. As I was pooping, doc kept on saying good,good and he was cleaning it up. Immediately I stopped, baby crowned.
