LegendHero:it's not a lie, I watched the video. Kwankwanso actually said that the monument was demolished because it had a cross symbol. And because Kano is a Muslim state, it was intolerable |
taylor89: on that head own, it is true o. I innocently asked my colleague while pointing at his charger that he should give me the head, because I already had my USB cord. The spoilt thing just asked me when?. I didn't understand initially, I kept on saying abeg give me the head, until my other r colleagues present burst out laughing. I only understood later. But trust me, I blasted him so bad. I was like why do we sexualise every thing? He apologized because he knew I don't take nonsense, and really I made him know I was embarrassed. So since then, even if I want to order for food, I shout give me "fish head" or "goat head" and not "head" ![]() |
OlawaleBammie:I really pity your situation. Crucify him and myself all you like, but that small voice inside of you is telling you the truth that you are wrong and we are right to talk against tribalism. It is not about you being a Yoruba or me being an igala, but it is about tribalism. Ask your self, what has tribalism or your hatred for another tribe done for you?. But if it gives you peace and harmony to insult people who are against tribalism, then kudos. If you read my write up, you will see where I indicated that my friends are 75% Yorubas and we love ourselves and assist ourselves irrespective of tribe or religion. I guess you will call them mad too, because they are not tribalistic. That said I refrain from mentioning people that don't learn or feel they they know it all I have taken note if your moniker, I will never ever respond to you, and please do well not to quote or make reference to me. You call your brother mad because he doesn't want to hate any tribe like you do, and you equally want to call me mad. You should have concluded it. It doesn't give me skin pain. That said enjoy your day. I wish you well |
WhisperedNoise:I am a sister actually .Prosperity will judge you and those of us crying against tribalism well. |
Emmanuel950:with all sense of humility can you put me through?. Thanks in advance |
Morphinne:Please next time if what I commented sounds like a victim card or script to you, waka pass okay. Just move on.... Don't quote me if it doesn't make sense to you. I quoted the person I am on the same page with. I saw your comments but because we are obviously not like minds in any way, I Waka pass your comment. So please respect my opinion, it's mine. And let me respect yours. Stay on your lane and bask in your know it all. Don't bother to respond to me because this is the first and last time I will ever make a comment towards you. That said may God bless Nigerians and every tribe in Nigerian Incase you missed that part in my comment |
WhisperedNoise:May God Almighty bless you and your generation yet unborn for this comment. I have been looking for someone like you on nairaland, but I just found you. 1 out of so many "wicked" nairalanders This has been my plea, this has been my cry. Tribalism is being propagated by people that should know better, especially that young man you quoted. I feel so ashamed whenever I read his comment. I am like "doesn't he look at his mirror", all the bile for how much and for what dirty politician?. Because that is what they are; dirty, selfish politicians I feel so hurt because I was born and raised in Lagos. 75% of my friends are Yorubas. We grew up not knowing the difference in our tribes or religion. Our parents became friends because of us. 40 years after, we are still friends. We support ourselves. We love ourselves. We have a strong association. I love Amala, and other Yoruba meals. They love Igbo foods, and some of them ask us igbos to teach their Yoruba wives how to prepare our meals. We travel from afar to attend our occasions. I am Igbo, but I love my friends and they love me too. We support each other, even those outside Nigeria do same. So it was this elections that made some of us realize that we aren't from the same tribes after all. Some of my Yoruba friends wanted to misbehave, but the love we had for each other brought us back again. In my school group, every Nigerian tribe is represented and we are moving on and standing on the strength of our diversity. I have been insulted here and called many names, but I still stand by the fact that I hate tribalism. In Abujà here where I reside presently, my best friends are from kaduna, Gombe and I have a Fulani woman that I am supporting to pay her daughters school fees, even though say I dey manage o. I no get o, but just because the little girl said she doesn't want to marry, but wants to go to school, I plunged in to assist because they are poor. The point I am trying to make is that we all are one, irrespective of tribe or religion. I find it easy to relate with everyone. I am not particular about tribe. Maybe I am different, I don't know. Because of your comments, you are my brother. God bless you again, and May God bless EVERY tribe and PEOPLE in Nigeria |
Cantonese: nwannem biko! This vawulence is catastrophic. |
Coming from a man whose caze of looters is still in court, who feigns bear death illnesses whenever his date in court comes close. Inasmuch as Emefiele stepped on toes and did some certain things that affected us a people, we should not forget he had a principal who was the commander in chief. Further more, the likes of Fani ksyode should shut up when issues like this are discussed. He would lick ass and do worst if he had Emefiele's position |
Fineman2:serious red flag. You never grind beans, moi moi don dey smell. Use your tongue count your teeth. Better a failed courtship than a failed marriage especially if there is no understanding and compromise as it stands at this period of courtship |
Is he still talking?. |
Sermwell:bros abeg, I am humble o. Na beg I dey beg help me. Una when God do am, make una remember people like me |
Other panics that Nigerians panicked, what did you people do about it, or what do you intend to do about this one?. If it is only your usual story for the gods, make una allow us panic in peace abeg |
hammerT:i believe you. And that is why Ghanaian president was saying that Buhari will be missed. Can you imagine such wicked thought coming from a man whose country is better than ours, and who knows for sure that he is even a better president than the Buhari? |
Baba, people will be the hearers and not the doers of this sermon o. If I get opportunity to jaapa... Alright until then.... |
Thank you While others are looking for who to blame for their mostly personal failures
just like a thousand and one farmers, transporters, etc were either displaced, killed, maimed or kidnapped. People doing their legitimate businesses and not even sending government's aid or anything. A lot of them at least the surviving ones are still complaining. Should that be attributed to personal failures?. I seriously advocate that we should search our consciences at times. |
He was the most calm of all the guys. Very focused, not loud, humble, friendly and reserved. I remember then we used to wonder what he was doing in that house with a bunch of " noisy housemates". I remember when he was expelled from the house, some people heaved a sigh of relief because they felt he was just too nice to fit in. Always sleeping and avoiding trouble ![]() I really liked him. May his soul rest in perfect peace.. He was truly a gentleman |
justdream:see how her true colors came out with the issue of that young man that called ger out that she was feeding fat on Nigerians resources, simply because she knew they had months to leave office. That woman is a pretender and posterity will not judge her and her husband well |
Madam abeg go sit down, una go use self privileges kill Nigerians? What else do you want after 8 years of solid non stop enjoyment, cruising and amassing wealth for generation yet unborn? The ones you people have taken already secretly is definitely bigger than what you are asking of to be in the public domain. I never trusted all this woman's akara frying moves during the 2014 campaign period, and all those her shouts of cabals in aso rock and her faceoff with the people there was just a way to manipulate gullible Nigerians mindset about her. Go rest abeg |
Taylor90:But some of them, you know the "them" said the crowd that attended the show was massive, and on other news, they said it wasn't so massive because it was not open for the general public, but to the invited. ![]() Which one we go believe now |
The way Nigerians are angry with this man especially with the aftermath of the elections and the new currency issues, if security aides were not going to be attached to him, people would be rushing this man serious slap and beatings o. I know someone who said he hates Buhari more than satan |
Resign na and stop chasing clouts. We can't even cope with the pressure of you still remaining on that seat |
ipobarecriminals:Na waooo!!. All these on a thread that concerns Buhari? |
YoungLionken:He is not under a spell. He is the SPELL |
And their supporters that are so improverished will Waka pass this thread. The reason for the massive rigging was for their party members to cover their tracks. But for the sake of the suffering masses that truly want a change and good governance, a messiah will come through soon. If you see nothing wrong in this massive looting going on and you quote me on it, your entire generation will never be able to boast of #1000 naira |
iwaeda:you are offending darkness with this your comment o. Even darkness will run away from these criminals. Darkness is a saint where these people are. I can imagine the amount of blood of Jesus the devil screams because of Nigeria and Nigerians |
chidiokay:so APC even as an opposition then and now the government in power is sane abi?. If that is your own idea of sanity, please enjoy yourself. I wish you all the best with your anaconda that you have tamed in your bedroom |
iReddington:sincerely, is this situation something to be jubilate for?. Doesn't it bother you that our democracy is being threatened more and more each day? Will you rather prefer a 1 party state without opposition just because of tribal and religious sentiments I give up on Nigeria, if some of you truly have this mindset. This little snake that we are using as per, will turn to Anaconda someday and we know what Anacondas do |
SonofGod231:yes I always do with all four of them. And thanks , I appreciate your commendation. |
yellowman2225:Okay, so I took my son out one day, we were in the car and I told him if I could take him to the eatery, he said yes. Okay so when we got there, he ordered for what he wanted. Just meatpie and a drink. We sat down to eat it. I asked him what he wanted to be in future, he said he wanted to be an aeronautical engineer and architect.( It was not a surprise because we all knew, I just wanted him to reiterate it). So I brought out a form I had typed at the business center with their school logo. I told him that unfortunately he was going to repeat his class, because he wasn't doing well and all his classmates including his best friends were all going to move on to the next class. I told him, I had already signed for his repeat, and there and then I could see the shock. He burst into tears and begian to cry. He pushed his snacks away and told me not to accept and sign it. I pretended to be helpless. We got into the car and went back home, snacks forgotten ![]() When we got home, I went into my room to pretend to cry while talking to myself that my son is going to repeat a class. On Monday the following week, I already made his class teacher and proprietress know of my plan, so I went into their offices with him, gave them the fake form and told them I had signed up for him to repeat. They began to beg me that he should not repeat that I should not allow him to repeat ( it was all drama). They were like how would your son feel when his friends and classmates are promoted?. Finally I told them to give him a form to sign that if he doesn't improve, he will repeat. They gave him a form for which I had earlier dropped off with them without him knowing. He agreed and signed it and wrote his name. The class teacher read it to him and he understood it perfectly. To cut the long story short, he came first and carted away 5 awards in their school prize giving and graduation day. And since then, he never looked back. Psychologically he realized that if he could have done so well,to cart away awards and be acknowledged, he can continue like that all his life and be getting accolades while getting his good grades. I know my children's emotions and I had to think out of the box to get results and I am happy I did. But one thing you should know is that most little boys usually get playful st that age. And again if your son is good In music, you can help him use that same music to improve on his grades. We can talk more on that lster |
Lordofalmajiri:A lot of reasons can be attributed to him not learning on time. Most children have slow learning pace and later pick up and move very fast. It could even be as a result of the pressure the aunty is giving him at home. He may be overwhelmed with house chores and have little or no time to rest so as to assimilate. Fear too, can make him not to ever assimilate. Poor nutrition Constant beating and abuse would make him not concentrate. Beating a child to learn is all shade of wrong and it usually does more harm than good. Yes, you can subttly scold a child, but not make it a habit of instilling fear in them as it concerns learning. A careful parent or guardian would try and find out what the problem is, and not just beating the child like that. My son was a very fast learner in primary school, later on his grades began to drop. I know what I did, because I had to think out of the box, and he picked up again and began to do much better than before. I didn't have to beat him. Once that head or brain locks up, if you like use cutlass and open the head and shove the books inside, the books will still fall off. Hope you get my point on this one? ![]() |
