Seriously, this part cracks me up, "when i marry i will know that i now belong to someone legally. . ." Even smokers know when to stop |
You wrote SLS is 'known' to be a 'muslim extremist'. SLS is known to be a 'BH supporter'. Seriously, NL just appears to be like newspaper stands where people know Obasanjo & IBB more than their relatives. CBN is a body, the governor spoke for the body but bigotry has beclouded a lot of people's reasoning. Since prejudice has taken over, no explanation can change their thinking of whatever professional analysis he gives. Seriously, an ex-CEO of FBN doesn't suddenly know anything shey Not like people won't disagree with the CBN, but the way people rush to comment here without discussing the issues baffles me. The CBN is the FG's economic adviser. Seriously people need to give their e-frenzy a break. |
NLN is free to use. Public libraries are normally free but I can't speak for all states but I know some collect a one-time registration fee to use the state library and you come with that library card anytime you wanna use it. For NLN, it's FOC. |
1025: iI love this part! Sums e'thing up! The British (rightly or wrongly) massage what is theirs. Realistically, how many teams can win the UCL every season? Just 1. People just find silly excuses for others' successes. It's a game. A competition is much more different than a 30 or more weeks league. Congratulate those who achieve and move on!!!! |
Yet again, people find silly excuses for their irresponsible behaviors. We obviously do know where charity begins from. I always tackle those who do this and they tag me an alien - seriously, does Karma need to teach such people an unfortunate lesson I don't agree we grew up with such behavior, we simply built it around the WAI era. In primary school, I remember reading books on how to cross the road, not eat on the road, not litter the road et al.Please, if you are one of those who challenge these dirty people (no apologies), continue to do so. Common sense should be made 'communal'. |
misterh: I doubt most people that have made comments even went through the post. SLS did not condemn the SoE. He only warned that the FG should take cognisance of the economy while trying to rid the country of the BH menace.Separating institutions from individuals seem to be a problem in this country. The rate people take to insults simply because they disagree with the position of someone surprises me. They don't want to listen to Sanusi - it is made to look like he SOLELY takes decision at the apex bank without a board. Similarly, some want the CBN to only focus on banks like the CBN is not govt's financial adviser and controller of the nation's monetary policy. So much of islamophobia observed here - my solace lies in the fact that the sample of comments cannot represent all Nigerians for if ordinary Nigerians fail to discuss issues becloud of sentiments, one will sincerely ask, "which way Nigeria?" |
Read my first post please. ^^ |
Are earnings from TV rights not part of financial analysis and performace ![]() |
One thing with job threads is the -ish of stalking. Even for tests too, some stalk in order to gatecrash. If anyone wants to invite you, they'll call you or contact you by any means that will make you acknowledge their message please. Missed calls have -ve covariance with received calls ![]() |
So, Oga Dokubo, if anything 'untowards' happens to GEJ, then 'the gods are not to blame'!!! All these political actors are just displaying their antics on a world that does not belong to any of them. This reminds me of a Nigeria where 'no man can rule better than OBJ' and where UMYA followers started campaigning for his 2011 elections as far back as 2008! hmm Orisirisi We are indeed 'nothing but pencils in the hand of the creator'! |
Misplaced priorities! Seriously, bloggers should register for FRCN's diploma or something. . .find better things to RESEARCH on so you can have content. smh |
People finding silly excuses for the irresposible things they do! These apply to men and women, not Mr & Mrs. |
The problem with threads is when they get derailed. The OP asked a question based on team performance & competition and people are introducing prize money etc to it! As a Chelsea fan, no one woulda expected Chelsea to be in the Europa but unfortunately, they got there and played it. Based on the structure, UEFA allows 3rd placed teams to play therein when knocked outta the UCL group stage - if it was a 'losers trophy', Chelsea wouldn't have gotten there in the first place. Man U & Man City got there but won it not, it becomes a less important trophy whe CFC wins it right Why didn't those teams back out if it was a waste of time?Last time I remember, the UCL winner plays the Europa winner at the beginning of each season. UEFA won't call a team that failed to beat Bayern or the 2nd placed team to play it - coincidetally, it was the last Europa team that beat CFC to it this season. Chelsea will either play any of the German team that wins this season's UCL. The EPL is really competitive, razmatazz et al but if we consider the structure, UCL, Europa are continental trophies. The Spanish or Germann guys won't even buy the idea of comparing EPL to Europa. This puts no less value to Man U's achievement, they won a DOMESTIC title. Chelsea won a contiental title, call it losers cup or whathaveyou, but that's what it is. |
Is Jonathan a governor ![]() This seems like bloggers who try to form stories from their imaginations. GEj used to be a member of the forum but inasmuch as we are all aware of various interests, tell us what signifciance this has? All these governors are all just after permanent interests, some people have made the forum more popular than its needed. |
Aiit. Guys have provided links here. PM me anyways, lemme send you some links. |
^^^Read the thread, you'll see answers to ALL your questions. For government sector, hmmmm, whilst the public sector considers qualifications, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll supercede some who have been there for years. You still have to follow CS procedure and include your qualification when promotion exercise comes up. For the latter, definitely, it'll do. Don't constrain yourself to IBs, perhaps based on your location. IB does not mean commercial bank as you think. Insurance firms PFAs Stockbroking firms among others are plausible places. |
But literally, when you sneeze, you die a sec ^^^ |

1. You don't have a choice to choose your PPA - you take whatever you are given, that's why it's called national service. This is the other reason people try to sort. The only choice you have is when a PPA rejects you after being posted there. 2. From what I know now, the Minister's directive that only schools & MDAs serve as PPAs is being strictly enforced (depending on the state). You can go to the NYSC section to ask, I saw a thread like that. 3. Due to the 'conditions', the best bet is being posted to a finance related MDA if you pull the right strings. Similarly, the ghost thing is suggested but if you want a bank as your PPA, you're on a loooooong thing! 4. NYSC normally exempts those over 30 years. In fact, some people do not go to service after uni so they can wait for the time e.g. someone who graduated at 26 or 29 would have his/her name appearing in the call-up list till s/he gets to the exemption list ![]() 5. The same way it's not compulsory for PT students to go for service, some still choose to go. 6. Some bodies (I know of ICAN), if you are a member of that body, you don't need to go for NYSC, you apply for exemption. These (+ PT grads) were among the policies OBJ used to reduce the ever-growing number of prospective corpers. |
Profile, result summary etc that shows your graded for each subject at each level. |
Like it was earlier written, you've allowed too many parties connected or otherwise into your family affairs. Be careful how much you give out. Definitely, you can't separate "Oh father, oh daughter" but a 'truce' has to be developed on managing his affairs. Your wife's immaturity has been compounded by your abandonment decision - she has started going from pillar to post 'cos of you guys. Something else you're adding to the fire is the pregnancy issue. If you love her, manage this woman well. Nothing stops you both relocating to Benin to start a 'new life'. Like I said, the woman needs to be communicated with - one that will not pass through her right ear and leave through the other. |
Since you're not done with your NYSC, simply inform them - it's better to include your expected POP date for appropriate planning. Check the service year calendar to know this date if you're not done. Your transcript will be needed when/if you're called for an interview. Till then, a substitute could do e.g. your profile etc. Moreover, whilst pursuing the transcript -ish, inform them. Normally, the transcript would/should be sent by the school to them just like standard requires. You can download the form and fill it - read the contents carefully before filling it I know why am recommending this, it's part of the 'test'.Remember you're attaching all of the documents as ONE pdf file hence you may need the services of a scanner, PDF creator or otherwise as may be required. Goodluck ![]() |
What about her mum? She seems to be 'reasonable' from your post. Running to another state to me is a lame way of facing your problems. Your wife seems immature and unwilling to learn from previous experiences - she ought to have covered her Why can't she donate her money towards the family whilst you take care of the home front? It seems she isn't even willing to sacrifice or compromise which was why I mentioned immaturity. MILs( management of in-lawd) takes two to tango. As much as I agree with professionals being what the term represents, I also know counselling is one of them but exposing the confidentiality of your client is *%$@$(!!! Please face your problems squarely. Someone needs to moderate a talk with her family especially her dad and your wife needs to see a counsellor to know her responsibilities as a wife, her rights as a wife and where they stop too! |
See Oligopoly! ^^^ I loaded Timaya's statement - didn't even bother reading the statement. My eyes automatically sieved the numbers from the alphabets Was on another web page when I saw the time was 8.04pm. Still fast enough ![]() "It's fun". Thanks @Track Cee ![]() |
First, "You can't take something off the Internet - it's like taking pee out of a pool."Secondly, Andrew Brown says: "The Internet is so big, so powerful and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life."and "Information on the Internet is subject to the same rules and regulations as conversations in real life." Unfortunately, The Internet is a shallow and unreliable electronic repository of dirty pictures,So, no matter how well you know the rules of netiquette, you will eventually offend someone who doesn't.»Don Rittner The opportunity to be anonymous tends to bring out the silliness in individuals - they often tend to behave in 'unguarded' manners due to this freedom of identity. Ultimately, like I said earlier, freedom comes with responsibilities. Even with this, you still have some bashing like Bash Ali and others defending like they were appointed Voltrons! Chances are that when matured conversations tend to take place, the chances of 'derailers' tend to reduce. Whilst not everyone comes here for serious -ishes, there's a tent for every group. Manage well!!! |
idefix: On one hand, we have the popular and cantankerous Christians that take delight in speaking against Islam and will continue to do so even though I keep banning them. On the other hand, we have muslims who believe I am personally culpable even though I did not make those posts because I am the only person whose name is associated with this websiteThe points I agree with you here are highlighted! For those who had been on NL at the seed stage, they would understand why the section "Islam for Muslims" was even created. I have also avoided going to such sections for even in politics too, both sides enjoying bashing others' religion + tribes. Davidylan would be reading this - his posts circa 2007 till date are & were all about attacking anything Islam. Eventually, such threads end up being detailed denying those who want(ed) to have sincere discussions the opportunity to do so. Even here, you already see posters saying they know Seun has received threats from the "violent ones", haramists and such unsavoury terms. Sincerely, I would advise the religion section be closed. Moderating this forum to check against bigotry is necessary. People want freedom without responsibilities and respect to others. The major problem of the internet is being anonymous + weak controls. Until a strong framework is designed for religion to be discussed, close it! |
size38: Rubbish ! Why would they arrest Asari? In 2011 election, Buhari said "that those who will make peaceful change impossible will make violent change inevitable. Also, last year during a visit of CPC members in his Kaduna home, he equally said that" come 2015, that both dogs and baboon will be soaked in blood if the election is rigged. So is what Asari said different from what a man whom many sees as a leader different?"Former Vice-President and presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has warned the Federal Government over the 2011 poll, saying “those who make peaceful change impossible, make violent change inevitable”. He charged PDP to reform itself or become irrelevant in the scheme of things." http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/atiku-talks-tough-warns-of-violent-change-/71993/ |
Bill is leveraging on the commonality of MS office - nice business tactics; highlight the weaknesses of your competitors and work on it! Moreover, most tablets have keyboard accessories but nice intervention all the same. Pity Apple's founder is late. |

Abeg, no let depression kill your mental state of health. You really do need to see a therapist. Time does heal when remedial efforts are embarked upon. Cases like this, especially with the man always disgusted whenever he remembers this need more than communication. You need to think things through thoroughly - whilst relocation and new lease of life may do if the woman is indeed remorseful, often times, if a party can't bear the thought of the event, separation seems inevitable! |
