fame12k: Am a Muslim, after consulting in 3 different places, we re told DAT our living togeda Will be so difficult, with little or no progress. As a Muslim[ah], It's fundamental you know NO ONE can tell your Qadar/Kadara/Destiny. If you're still believing this, your faith needs some 'seminars' cos this act is kufr. While people (alfas or better put, Islamic scholars) can give you advices, counsels etc, I still insist you learn from the right sources, do you istikhara (guidance prayer) and go with your decision. My observation of this topic has to do with your believe in storytellers who can't even guarantee their own tomorrow. Remember, every (wo)man will account for his or her self, take control of your life. I leave with a hadith, "The Salaah of whoever approaches a fortune-teller and asks him about anything will not be accepted for 40 days and nights."(Muslim) |
DANILSA: Time to ban hijab in Nigeria. And this is where THEY are heading to. To make these women 'open up', deny their rights to freedom of religion and satisfy their perversion. I was expecting this to come so am not really surprised by this CATWOMAN development. If I know what Islam says about DISGUISE a la this supposedly islamic fighters, muslim men are not supposed to dress like women: Ibn Abbas narrated: 'The Prophet (S) cursed the men whoSo, tell me how are these guys "Muslims" ![]() The conspiracy and truth will eventually continue to open up day by day. Whether they are Muslims or they are their own muslims, we'll continue to see. The ignorant can continue to make vile statements and come to a conclusion but there comes a time when the wheat can not but separate from the chaff. The moment we begin to tackle the issues intelligently, we'd get to the root of the mischief of the violent ones. |
Wow, see the Islamophobia on NL. Suddenly, this lady is so useless, insignificant and doomed! So much hate. Well, as exchange of abuses is commonplace here, And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. (Al-An`am 6: 108) |
I remember in the past, NTA did a comprehensive piece on the deplorable states of our prisons. Perhaps, it's when Channels TV use Social Media power make am another issue na den dem government go respond. You now know why prison break is an ultimate search for these guys. Then again, who cares Government isn't really interested in reforms, it's more about deforms. |
I got to this site when I came across this "Wicky Islam dot net". Mehn Please get a list on this directory. The guys are making efforts to be a kinda 'watchdog' for fake 'islamic' sites: http://www.fakeislamicwebsites.com/ |
sino: Fyi we Muslims also organize camping programs, and some camps do include male and female Muslims, there is proper segregation at these camps and during morning drills, females have their own separate place for such.Cool. Thanks for this. The highlighted aptly addresses the mischief of "separate markets" etc. People tend not to face issues on NL. Bandwagon effect. |
bukatyne: So if the lady and guy lift each other up, the guy will be so turned on and rape the girl at night? Oh please, is everything about sex with you? Can't you have healthy interactions with the opposite sex with thinking of sex? FYI, I have served so don't come here and bobo us like they tie men and women to do what they don't want to do. Everybody is invited for socials, fine. Can't the ladies sit down on their own? or do they lack self control that once they see a man they want sex? During camp fire night, can't the Muslim girls be together? Most socials occur towards the end of camp so the female Muslims should have made friends that can move around together. This is where you're get it wrong! No need arguing on an unnecessary issue. By the way, it's not about sex, neither do I need to bobo you :-/ Quoting the example I used, the said lady told them her religion permits not unrestricted mixing amongst men and women. It doesn't even mean there were not some other 'Muslim' ladies who bothered not to object, but for she and some other sisters, it was a NO NO. Perhaps, that's where their understanding level has got them to. That they refused to do so doesn't mean they avoided men throughout the stay in camp. You need to understand some beliefs and principles about certain people. The fact that something is acceptable to you doesn't mean it's acceptable to the other. I have also met some 'intelligent, disciplined and principled' Muslims. |

bukatyne: I believe the corps members in these camps know what is go for them expect if they are saying Muslim females cannot think for themselves and therefore need JTI to do that for them.Oh really? And be called 'rebels' again huh Our experiences may differ but you can recall the experience of he girl who didn't wanna wear trousers. A Muslim lady has told me of how in camp, the soldier, in the name of exercise wanted the ladies and men to hold themselves in the arm and see who lifts the other up and all of those -ish. When she resisted(she told the officer she couldn't do that kind of thing) the soldier called it 'disobedience' and wanted to make a big issue outta it until another officer who had a higher rank told her to respect the lady's beliefs. Some camps even have the soldiers forcing people to go for socials, camp fire etc. As far as am concerned, most of the activities in the camp is balderdash. The JNI may seem to be raising the bar but there needs to be regulation in these camps - that's what they ask for. Is it the tight clothes corps members are forced to put on and when a sister puts a hijab on it, she's continuously harassed IF it doesn't suit you, doesn't make them stupid cos you support them not. |
Riyaa (Show off). shikena and am waiting for that one person who'll bring OJB into this ![]() |
sure way: Are you still sleeping? OC cool: and ur point is?Stop spreading misinformation. That's my point. Those are also associations. |

miky: even the true muslims of egypt dont want an islamized state in egypt by way of the muslim brotherhood.. but the mugus in naija, the fake muslims are here killing innocent folks.. |
miky: even the true muslims of egypt dont want an islamized state in egypt by way of the muslim brotherhood.. but the mugus in naija, the fake muslims are here killing innocent folks..True? You think you know what you're saying but you know not. The usual Nigerian bigotry at activation. How convenient for you to know who are the fakes and original! Alfa ![]() |
"Personally, I think you guys opened Pandoras box with the Arab Spring. Now you know you've got the power, it seems you can't control it. The last I checked, there were only two ways to get rid of a democratically elected government - vote it out of office or impeach it. This is a coup. Simple." |
Bigotry, Tribalism, hate - reasons I surf less on NL than before. It has gotten pitiable levels, considering that young school leavers et al find a way to kill time here, I can only foresee what ignorance and hate will do to Nigeria. smh |
abeg relationships can't work without that thing. Dis world is not a home of flat batteries. Man must shakkk.
With such 'advise', nothing else to say to you but RED CARD! |
^^ http://peacefmonline.com/pages/showbiz/news/201306/166510.php Even 'mad men' know when to cover up their nudity at times. Now, who's mad Those who want to go half naked or those who want to cover their nudity? Madness!!! ![]() At a point in time , she took off her clothes covering the upper part of her body but her lover convinced her to put it on after which they embraced each other and started their love adventure . |
ola olabiy: my God! why have you all forgotten dare babarinsa of TELL magazine? king of style. he's my man in the 90's. was it epilogue or something?I loved Dele Omotunde of TELL before he left for governance. He was just too funny. The way he cooled your temperament on burning national issues, he was a comic relief. Things have changed now, especially in Punch but that lady (forgotten her name now), I like the way she writes in her back page analysis. I remember her article on GEj vs Amaechi where she gave a "no sainthood" to both parties. The Azugate is what people still accuse Punch of a la ACN's paper. The prof that writes from US too, he was accused of being a Mimiko writer prior to and after the elections. Now, Ogunlesi writes for Punch but except for lady, I've got no fav for . Time doesn't make me follow across board to often now but I like Luke's writings. He comes with so many facts and with Guardian being a scholarly paper, I ain't surprised. Once I notice a writer's undisguised bias, I just yimz. Additionally those who are behind the paper determine some thoughts ![]() |
Seriously, you bloggers need to take up a course in journalism or a diploma at least. You are not journalists so learn to use the social-media responsibly. Perhaps, until they sue you guys for posting pictures anyhow, then you go suck belle make the shirt fine. |
And to those of you claiming you turned out alright, all I have to say is that your choice of words in addressing someone whose opinion is different from yours connotes a violent tendency.
Touché |
Most of us are thinking as adults, not as children. Just because we 'survived' the acts or scenes in such cartoon doesn't make them less harmful. Children are 'innocent' and inquisitive. I'd want a child psychologist or those in education to come sum this up. I've listened to them and when they educate you, you'd be amazed at how wrong we thought we knew better. Until then, lips sealed before I am called an alarmist. |

Roserbert: What are U insinuating here? what's wrong in saying "thank you" to somebody that knows the right thing and actually does it, whether its his money or state money is not the issue here, its the heart that did that people are appreciating not the pocket where the money is coming from. The problem with Nigerians is sentiments. We let that becloud our objectivity. Almost, if not every state has provisons for medical expenses in the MOH's votes. It's the people's money, don't get it twisted. No one is not appreciating any gesture here but it's this mentality thay makes Nigerians clap for a governor who inaugurates a water supply project for its citizens like he's doing the peoplr a favor, whereas he's doing his job. Know your rights and duties, know their responsibilities too please!!! |
You've been watching too many movies and getting things twisted. You go mosque on Friday? Fast go come, you no o kiss again. You go church on Sunday? Service go come, you go dey claim repentance. That you buy things for her does not mean she should reciprocate that gesture via a kiss neither does kissing means she loves you. Shikena She's got parents, you're not her responsibility. If you do all these things for her, do it out of goodwill. If you love her, wait and get married. Well, I don't know your age neither I know what you do for living - I leave it there for now. everyday: What a very unreasonable question.Cartoon is meant for kidsNo question is too unreasonable. With the likes of South Park & Family Guy, you'd surely not make a generalization of cartoon. TV is a mind control tool, don't let it be the one teaching your children when parents & guardians bear the responsibility of tutoring. |
When a kid who sees two adults quarreling tells a man to cut off a woman's head, since in Ben 10, she can always 'fix' it back, then you know some experiences are not needed to be the best teacher. |
Did the Governor donate his money or did he donate on BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE & GOVERNMENT of Delta State (via the budget)? Some reporters sha, they don't know when to draw the line. |
This Dangote someone harped on, you seem to forget he started out as an apprentice. He just didn't become an employer instantly. If everyone becomes employers, who do they then employ? It's ok to make use of your skills to generate jobs but don't allow the f""k.ups of our government to provide an enabling environment make you preach irrationally. |
Twitter is a street, everybody buzzes there. I'm aware some guys are taking advantage and soliciting for funds to be paid to other accounts. Why we're gradually giving credence to rumors and the figment of the imaginations of blogs is what beats me. Where or who are the government officials? Did IN bother to contact Nomoreloss before publishing? When did IN become a reliable house for journalism? Why must everyone make public their donation when they're not.Rotary Society? Please, there's a reason why newspapers can never ever compare to unreliable factory-making blogs. |
