In this circumstance and considering the size of the coy (I initially thought it was a big coy), my vote is She goes not! ![]() Nevertheless, I have my reservations on how things can change when they get married especially with the CEO's future decisions. We all start 'upright' but 'familiarity' can tame our doggedness which is what the marriage will provide. Short term - She goes not Long term - Let the time come! |
Na who dey hide all these posts ![]() |
AjanleKoko: MTN lost big time?I don't like exaggerating with data but you'd take note of the statistics in the report: In the first year of MNP operation, 370,107 mobile numbers have been successfully ported by customers in Ghana. This represents 1.6% of the total active mobile numbers in Ghana. The success rate of porting requests in the first year was 75%.http://www.ghanamma.com/2012/07/ghana-mobile-number-portability-slowly-begins-to-take-off/ Mobile operator, Tigo is the biggest gainer in the Mobile Number Portablity, a year since the implementation of the exercise.http://m.modernghana.com/mobile/406804/1/tigo-emerges-the-biggest-gainer-in-number-portabil.html Take note that the report doesn't disagree that MTN was the market leader, however if you compare the population of Ghana (active telephone users + users who used the MNP service) with Nigeria's, that analysis is of less effect. Now, imagine the same percentages being applied in their largest subscriber base in Nigeria. |
Maxymilliano: Was this Funke Akindele during her days on the set of 'I need to know' TV series? The cast used to wear the ISL uniform which was/is green shorts/skirts + white top. |
Number portability will reveal if these are just unneccessary hate. iremember when number portability was introduced in Ghana, MTN lost big time. There's nothing better than the freedom to choose which will make each netwrok up their game. |
seunajia: You take the anonymity of the internet to spew your dirty uncouth insides without shame. In the end, with all your supposed education, you're no different from the BH you take pleasure in criticizing only from the corner of your bedroom. Shame!couldn't have put it better. Isn't curious that in one instance, we know who boko members are and in another instance, we choose to regard them as faceless ![]() |
iRemember Seun himself was the one who 'inaugurated' the game 'Answer A Question With A Question'. That NLers never got tired of that thread explains it all. |
The circumstance is peculiar - na SME. Make person close one eye analyse am! ![]() |
Okkkkkk. I see - she serves as the 'checks and balances' in the organisation. |
^^^So does the devil tempt. It looks lucrative and you deceive yourself that "I shall stop" but he keeps on luring your lust till you're lost. There's nothing better than a conscience nurtured by truth + peace of mind. |
Hindering him from doing what he's not supposed to or what he's supposed to ![]() Let them clear their issues out on a roundtable cos it appears there are 'grudges' they hold against themselves which they are pretending is not there. The way you've described this coy looks like a SME to me. It shouldn't be too serious but if 2 batteries cannot work in a remote control, change it or fix them properly into the reomote. |
The answer had already been posted previously. The website identifies and distinguishes between different categories of affiliation. http://www.nse.org.ng/index2.php?page=member |
I smell inferiority complex and for any reason, the fears you mentioned ought to be enough to motivate you against failure |
So much for casutic analysis/analyses. I can barely read a comment without one denigrating word or the other. Thankfully, this is not TV for viewership discretion woulda been advised. |
^^^Hahaha. Touche |
All these southwestern muslim, indonesian muslims are just fallacies - a muslim is a muslim. No hanbali muslim, hanafi muslim etc. Mixing cultures with religion and fuelling ignorance is a big problem. Little wonder Islam encourages ilm - knowledge. Before one joins its fold and when one is in its fold, seeking knowledge is a daily routine until death. The more reason why Islam is different from muslims! |
yamakuza: ^ why cant the GM go?Oga Yamakuza (today, your name looks like Yamaha ) dem say "love is blind", when in love, it's difficult to open your eyes at times. Some 'qualities' abi I don't really understand what she means by "but usually have issues with wit d GM because GM felt some of his unfavourable is influenced by my collegue" but from what I can decode, it shows what I mentioned. Will any employee report the 'bad' activities of the woman to the CEO? Shey you wan put sand sand for them garri? She mentioned what I wrote earlier - INFLUENCED. There are more than 100 ways she can INFLUENCE her husband's decisions at home even if he had an earlier stand. Why can't the GM also grow the company with him ![]() |
Exactly. The more reason why reporting mechanisms are encouraged to be used for such people. Their sub-optimality is even worse than a department's own. |
murtalaa: When i meet any Igbo, Yoruba, or christian in real world i don't see the remotest sign of any hatred or ill feeling towards me on account of my religion or tribe. But the story is completely different on nairaland. What am I missing? Could the Igbo, Yoruba and Christians i call friends secretly hate my gut with the same intensity i read on nairaland? No, i don't think anybody could be that cowardly as to habour so much hatred and just bottle it all in. So, my conclusion is that these nlanders are in no way representative of the ethnic groups in Nigeria and why should any bigoted fool, who is no better off than those he is castigating, matter to me?When NL started out, this was never the trend. It's funny how some years later, it has turned out to be in the league of Punch Newspaper comments. Funny, some of these people have relations in the tribes/religions they demonize - the way they derive fun insulting each other's beliefs sometimes makes me assume that it's just a generation of 'JAMBed' youths or those who have failed to use the internet effectively. I still maintain that there's a marked difference between the ignorant and the knowledgeable. |
Another religious bashing thread. . . There'll always be the marked difference between the knowledgebale (wo)man and the ignorant. |
^^^Berra Sooner or later, that 'calmess' will be tested with love nwatiti so it's best she goes. |
Thanks @naptu2 I have further reconciled here https://www.nairaland.com/173303/after-olisa-dan-foster-leaves/2 Well, there were so 'many' reasons he left ![]() |
This looks oddddddddd It'll take some adjusting to really

Employ the use of 'attractive' pamphlets - if the busy banker pays no attention to you, when he's sorting out his stuff, before he says "what's this one", he'll likely not throw away the pamphlet. However, some people do throw away only to need such services later and they'll be like "and there was one paper like that oooo". You can also try out ministries too - the unfettered access marketers have in ministries exposes the efficiency of our civil service ![]() Customer referrals remains the cheapest means - if you get just one client who's happy with your work, his word of mouth will advertise your product to other colleagues. Youcan also get them at the time they are going home (that's if it's not late at night). Some fellas also leave pamphlets on the windscreen although some car owners find this annoying. What about the internet? Advertise and make your presence known. Everything is however dependent on the services you offer and how much it satisfies customers - if you're good to them, they won't mind coming all the way from VI to Okokomaiko because they'll be rest assured with your services. |
I think this is what you wanted to write: Doctor flaky: My colleague WHO IS my company's CEO's fiancee IS about to get married TO HIM.My sister, this is what they call CONFLICT OF INTEREST. To you or the CEO, all actions and decisions would probably be taken with the best/honest intentions but this may not appear so to a 3rd party. Therefore, best management practices suggest that such situations are safeguarded against or avoided. It is the policy of some companies to disallow this situation whilst some do allow it but OP, you failed to tell us what position she occupies as this determines how material such a relationship could be in affecting the company's activities. In finance, the lady is called a RELATED PARTY ![]() My personal opinion will stem from best CG practices - if she cannot be transferred or reassigned in such a way that the decisions of the CEO would not be influenced by her, she should resign. Realistically, there are less chances she won't be more of an insider since her hubby is gonna be the CEO - the power of a woman will strongly persist ![]() Vote: She goes. |
naptu2: Keith Lane! Yes, that's his name. Keith Lane of Cool FM Lagos had the on air rant and disappeared from the airwaves only to return briefly about 7 years later. Please trigger my memory, what show did/does he present? Newscaster? |
FBS: Benitez promises to bring the best out of Torres! Good. |
FBS: Benitez promises to bring the best out of Torres! Good.Million $ question! What if the dude got injured ![]() I remember the Sheva days. . . |
It's the HR's duty to assess and review the performances of employees. Except such a person's work has a direct impact on mine, such people are best left in the hands of 'Dear Mrs Karma'. However, there are supposed to be 'whistleblowing' or reporting channels for activities that undermine the activities of the firm - the firm itself must investigate that such reported cases are not due to (or motivated by) personal vendatta. For managers, such people are 'cheating' the company and are a waste/misuse of resources. For departmental colleagues, such people are like individuals who get sent off in a football match. |
They were not being "ethical" as they claimed by reporting the irregularities of the company on the public domain. Anyway, it's not new for us to see reporters/journalists talk about the 'bad experiences' they once had but it's a misuse of platform too to announce their resignation to viewers on the platform they paid not for - they must pay for that airtime ![]() They attempted to seek the sympathy of clients they had 'garnered' whilst working with the station - hence, these viewers will follow them to their next base. . . UNETHICAL PRACTICES! This generation is witnessing different breaches of protocol when it comes to employment contract these days - from announcing resignation on facebook to the twitter scandal that occured recently. . . |
The reasons for the tribunal are important to me - just like the Adamawa case where the ACN wanted the court to declare him winner, the parties here (Oke for example) have some of their aims to be declared winner based on the 'irregularities' they saw. It's just because it's their FHR to contest results we are giving some people contract work to do in this tribunal. The case of AP is laughable especially because of the abracadabra of their candidate. Let the court determine if the so-called irregularities were so material to invalidate the results of the Oct 20 election. And I'm tired of that "Mimiko won minority votes" thingy - if the guy had only Agagu to contest with last time and now he's got 2 strong + 9 other opponents to contest with, how's the 44% of the votes cast for him a failure ![]() GEJ revealed on the media chat that the Ondo elections were free and fair - his party member say na lie! Make we start the series. . . ![]() |
^^^ That you quoted my post gave you the access to the source code, so you ought to have known what it was ![]() |
