I support Jon-oh-jon on this one. So much for professionalism of tubby. If there's no control from an internal control staff, where lies security in the workplace? I do not understand what the dude will achieve by posting allegations on the wrongest court - Nairaland Forum!!! |
Much to my pleasure sir. |
All the losers who are judging someone who is going places in life, nobody created a discussion board about none of those jokers. I joined this thing so I could finally address all this crowd mentality rubbish. Some of ppl talking like they know anything about the girl. Get your facts before chatting trash. The babe was in the US for almost 10 years. She's entitled to speak an even thicker accent than she does now. In her defence, she's always been nasal. lol. For all ya'll who say "oh the Nigerian accent is so this and so that" PUH-LEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The NIgerian Accent has very many variations. I have a Nigerian accent and people think I schooled abroad, they just cant figure out where, because its good english.
Just as we tend to mix tribal/religion issues with important national issues, Nairalanders tend to tackle personalities ratther than topics. Who gives a damn! When you 're in Rome, become a ROMAN! The target audience of STV/Rhythm isn't the AMERICANS; it's Nigerians 1st! If you can't get to your target audience, then what's the use of a broadcast? As American as Dan Foster can be, he still tries to get to his audience in local parlance. Even Kemistry who spent time abroad tries the same. Whatever the case is, mine is that she should speak DISTINCTIVELY. The Nigerian-Accent has many variations and except for the Liberians and some others, African assents are similar! |

Ade Adedoyin of BBC pronounces his name as "ADi Ad'dyin" In an effort to sound more butish than normal, I can barely hear Adaure distinctively.@tolu the Halima et al of NTA news @ 9, Oloyede of Channels TV, Gbemi of cool Fm, Victor Ayara and a whole lot of them at LTV (like the way their newscasters speak) went to different schools right? Apaprt from the broadcast school at Ikeja, which other one(s) do we have? |
femi kings:Brother I beg of you. Know your levels now!!! I know people who have been in such situations and the truth is; they just don't get it! They would still consider you an undergraduate. You've gotta stand your ground or simply leave to another institution if you're passionate about lecturing. Seriously, tell them who you are to prevent being on ground level for the rest of your career. Good luck bro and update us ![]() PS: I didn't say you should disrespect them ![]() |
Some companies do the reverse @ bolla Speaking about GETTING A JOB, ICAN needs to work on such issues. Help their members and especially students alot in knowing that membership provides wide area network of opportunities. Enough with the CITN wars and ANAN wars ![]() |
check out the website please. Verify "tales" before posting online. |
Doubt it. PASS CENTRE (Gbagada) offers weekend CAT lectures. StarryGold (Ikeja) offers weekday CAT lectures (More like a "university" or those ones wey jamb don do) ![]() |
getchineye:Yes. I suggest you read this thread from the 1st page. Your brother still has the option of AFFIDAVIT but it's better to be on the safe side. Moreover, CAT would help him alot in F5-F9(F6/F8---CAT9/CAT 'cos he would have done 50% of the work there in the 9 CAT papers. |
Nigerian information and technology experts in the UK developed an online interactive street finder for Lagos in Nigeria. The UK based Nigerian experts who worked on several Google Maps and software development programmes established the online street finder website, which allows users to search any street or business in Lagos. According to Vanguard, the developers aimed at providing Nigerians with the benefits of digital technology, stating that the website could be described as the Nigerian version of the Google Map website. Mr. Ireti Ajala, initiator of the project and map and GIS specialist in the UK, said that MapNTL.com can show the precise location of over 50 000 businesses in Lagos. He noted that the database contained over 400 000 routable Lagos digital streets, measuring over 5 400km in length equivalent to more than two-thirds of the earth’s equatorial radius. The report stated that some of the companies who have their business locations and their logos on MapNTL.com include Mr Biggs, Tantalizers, Tastee Fried Chicken, Zenith Bank, First Bank, Intercontinental Bank, Oceanic Bank, UBA, ETB, FCMB, Spring Bank, Skye Bank and GTB.–Natalie Grobler. |
