Higher income is not same as Affordability.

A gurl may be earning 50k, but can conveniently afford to spend 10k on her hair monthly.
If the man earns 100k, but can't afford to do for her, what she does for herself, then he has no worth to her.
I mean, that's the barest minimum.

That's why men marry downwards...you should be able to afford your woman.
