cathodekazim:Dude, what potent brand of ganja are you smoking? |
OVI75:How so? ![]() |
Wish her well. |
I don't think this qualifies to be called a "road." More like a quicksand trap. |

Depends on their definition of "cheating." If a deal is presented to you and you go through the terms, THEN willingly sign the deal. Well, that's not "cheating," but simply selling yourself short, at worst. If the deal does not favor you, simply stay away from it. It's not that hard. |
![]() What airline is that? I hope they offer rain coats. Or perhaps, they are just the most equipped airline in Nigeria, with a free shower section. |
Sweetcollins:"Quitting" isn't necessarily "losing." Sometimes some just know when to stop beating dead horses. |
gassdon:Not really, it's position adds more danger to the ride than value. If it was placed in the back, away from the driver's view, that's value. Imagine a passenger riding in that during a live televised Nigerian world cup match. ![]() |
Na today? |
This is an incredibly shallow "article" (if it can be called that). ![]() I generally avoid negative statements, but the arguments presented sound badly uninformed. ANYONE can get up and proclaim themselves ANYTHING. That doesn't mean they'll execute the same expertise as a true "professional" in that field. There might be the odd one or two who excel, but we're talking about the rule and not the exception. |
Are you kidding me? Is there anywhere on this planet where teenagers do not have sex with each other? I lived in Nigeria as a teenager, and I started going to the store to buy condoms for personal use at 14 . You should be proud that he is responsible enough to use condoms.Judging from the quantity though, he either resells them in school, or he is the biggest playboy in town. Neither one of these possibilities is a terrible thing in itself. If someone who didn't know Nigerians better read through this thread, he'd assume all Nigerians stay virgins till they are 18+ or something. Why the hipocrisy? |
None of these things fall under sarcasm. ![]() These are all direct statements. e.g A sarcastic statement wouldn't be "I miss my ex." It would be, "I don't miss my ex at all." etc |
Regret? Not remotely. ![]() Honestly, those who "regret" living in 1st world countries are typically illegal immigrants. Those who left a relatively decent life in Nigeria with a "we go hustle am anyhow" mindset. You can only get by with being paid peanuts "under the table" for so long, before realizing life as an illegal isn't worth it. For citizens and legal permanent residents (green card holder) who aren't lazy or criminals, I doubt "regret" is a term on the radar. I've only spoken as a U.S citizen, so the sentiments/conditions could be totally different in other places. Particularly non-English speaking countries. |
Then don't ![]() |
Funny new skit from Basketmouth released today. Anyone who has organized a show can relate. The chief is Bovi ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sY4zWBPJLUI Watch more skits, stand-up comedy & more at Na Laugh. |
That part about enslaving us in the 60s was hilarious. ![]() |
I think Ifa has the final say. |
I'll check out the rest, I know "The Crew from the US (Chief Obi , Thefoxhimself, I am Kanmi (kekere lion), Africanape, Oluwakaponeski (Mama Tobi)" are pretty funny, though. You can watch their funniest skits here. Collectively, they're aptly called "African Comedians." |
lekjons:As the popular cliche goes, "if you need to hide anything from a black man, put it in a book." |
Kx:Obama was a relatively inexperienced "junior" senator from Illinois, who had been a senator barely over 2 years. When he began his campaign early 2007, I remember being at work, and saying I was going to vote for him - everyone laughed. Yes, including all the African Americans who suddenly jumped on the bandwagon in 2008, when his chances started to improve. At the time, his chances appeared slim to none. It would have also made a good example of your "roofing a house in thin air" example. However, in life, there are two kinds of people: Those who look at a pile of rubble, and see a pile of rubble, and those who see a pile of gold. Honestly, I have very little interest in FIFA and or its politics, I just felt the need to say there is no need to write him off. |
MosakuAW:Many said the same thing about Obama. |
Was this before or after he became emir? |
It appears people don't quite get the concept of "autographs." There is a major difference between 9ice asking her to autograph some piece of paper for him, and getting an autographed copy of HER album. The former is what a "fan boy" would do, and the latter is what anyone (above or below her) would do. Whether Jay Z or 9ice. |
Cat & mouse. |
NiRfreak:I generally don't care about such threads, but I don't think the overall points made are invalid. Which of them do you find incorrect for the ladies to go by? |
I remember back when we would void people's warranty for using certain launchers, back in my telecoms day. ![]() |
That butt is looking right, though. |
G3wap:I don't live in Nigeria, so I can't give you first-hand information. However, getting accepted as a third-party agent to a company depends on the relatedness of your "shop" to the product/service in question. e.g if you run a cell phone store, you're more likely to be accepted as a third-party retailer for a cell phone brand or similar tech products. I'm sure if you say the exact nature of your current business, others would find it easier to offer relevant recommendations. |
In other news: -The sky is blue on a clear day. -Nigeria is still in West Africa (no, it hasn't relocated). -Babes love shopping and expensive trips. ![]() |
