Imagine boasting about being slave traders in a world where everyone tries to downplay their involvement in slavery.

Truly whom the gods want to destroy they first make mad.

When some insincere Igbos claim these states and people will be part of biafra, claiming they are Igbo lands, they will always be reminded of the truth.

Some of you Biafra Agitators are damn stupid.
Pls do us a favor and mention that states that will comprise your stupid annoying Biafra country, pls name they for a start.
You want a Biafra country - Ibo states that is landlocked - a country within a country. And to avoid that foolishness, you then want your Biafra country to include Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River states so you can have exit on the south and Eastern Coasts.
Are these three 3 states Ibo speaking states to want to join your stupid Biafra? Did they tell you that they are willing to join you people as Biafrans? Or you want to force them to join you by force?
Or the FG should watch as you draw up stupid Maps that include those three states as part of Biafra so you can forcefully take up people who are not willing to be part of you.
Damn your Biafra.
Biafra break your neck there!!

Obviously, they don't want to leave Nigeria.

In reality, only a few of them are deceived by Prime-ministers-wanna-be kanu and ekpa.

GreatBoss:
1. Delta Igbo (Delta North)
2. Urhobo (Delta Central)
3. Ijaw (Delta South)

Ijaw ruled Delta South Senatorial District straight 20 years and minority Isoko and Itsekiri cry endlessly on marginalization.

Isoko has just 2 LGAs.
Ijaw have 3 Homogenous ones and are in 3 others of which Warri South West (Tompolo LGA) and Warri North has Ijaw majority and Warri South has Urhobo more.

Itsekiri has no single homogenous LGA.

@General Ditari.

Nothing like Delta Igbo

Igbos who migrated there over time are now claiming ownership of the lands.

The Ebus of over 45 clans and the Olukunmis are now Delta Igbo abi?

Funny thing is despite being part of the Benin Empire, the Edos respect all the tribes and their identities in Delta. Na Igbo wan dominate host wey dem meet.

Politics / Re: Why Edo Govt Can't Fix Benin-auchi, Benin-sapele, Other Roads, By Obaseki by NaMe4: 10:30am On Jul 23, 2023
Presently, the immediate past speaker of EDHA is hospitalised as a result of a ghastly road traffic accident he was involved in a few days ago along Benin-Auchi road. Almost every other day, citizens suffer on these death traps.

These roads connect major parts of the State and should be prioritized by the governor!

What about the 'State' roads, any explanation for those ones?

Can you list five projects this useless man has started and finished In seven years as a governor?
If you can, I will list governor Ortom's ten projects in four years and I will lists governor lucky igbinedion ten projects in four years and I will list 20 projects obaseki has rendered useless and destroyed since seven years.
Don't let party politics blind you. Since 1999, no governor has been as useless as obaseki in Nigeria.
The man is a curse to the good people of edo state.

That guy is not from Edo State. I just went through his comments on this thread.

I encountered one of his type a few days ago in Benin ( I no go call him tribe).

Similar discussion! He sounds exactly like this guy and was constantly using provocative words.

He said he like as Edo be as e dey as long as APC no enter the State, despite poor infrastructure, unemployment, amongst other challenges I listed.

Even right beside the government House gets flooded after rains.

I never see this kind governor before!

Activeman391:

Oga go and sit down .have you been to some parts of Lagos when it rains..even Victoria Island .U go thank your stars say water no even carry you..overrated lagos

It's not about comparison (of flaws), it's about sincerity of purpose and prioritizing the needs of the people. I'm not from Lagos, I'm from Edo State. I, likewise most (if not every) Edo indigene I know or have conversed with are deeply concerned about the poor public infrastructure they have to contend with everyday.
If you reside in Edo State Capital, you should know most of the State roads are a mess, with poor or no drainage system. The other senatorial zones are another matter.

Example of the challenges Edolites face presently:

kokorokoman:
sentiments will lead you no where, it is impossible to compare obaseki to lucky igbinedion, lucky igbinedion is light years ahead of obaseki.
Sometimes I wonder if you guys are normal.
Obaseki is not just the worse governor in edo history but the worse in the history of Nigerian politics.
Where in your existence have you seen a governor campaigning with a renovated stadium and renovated state secretariat?
Since you were born have you ever seen a governor campaigning with a pedestrian bridge?
Comparing obaseki to chief lucky igbinedion is a big Insult to lucky igbinedion.
Obaseki ruined edo education system from tertiary to primary to the extent communities now employ teachers by themselves, students now take chairs to schools by themselves an example is uhunmora secondary school, army day secondary school in Benin city.
You said obaseki has done more quality of roads, you are a liar, what quality of road when the only few kilometers of road he did got washed away within few weeks, example is the ohovbe road he did at agbor Park.
A man that ruled a state for over one year without a single commissioner? Have you heard that in Nigeria before?
He has handed the state specialist hospital to his friend from delta state and poor edolites can't even access that hospital anymore.
He shut down tertiary Institutions for years in the name of renovation, shut down new buildings built by his predecessor at new Era girls school for just no effing reason.
This useless man has taken edo back to the 1990s Era again.
This same flooding issues would have been addressed if he had continued the oshiomhoke water storm project but he has refused to continue the project.
Upon all his borrowings nothing to show.
If you claim his better than lucky, list his projects he has started and completed in seven years and I will list lucky igbinedion projects let's compare them.

Asaba is aboriginal people land not Igbo town, they settled there as immigrants

The town only started being called Asaba in the early 1900's, after the abolishment of slave trade and integration of persons into the host communities. Furthermore, establishment of the Royal Niger Company by the colonialists triggered a high rate of migration from the East.

Today, we have some persons claiming it's now an Igbo town and include it in some playschool biafra map, not respecting the indigenes they met there.
