Omosede Igbinedion just stepped down for Dr Asue ighodalo Great one our dear sister |
This Shuaibu funny sha. Which kain desperation be dis? No NWC, No INEC, No fellow aspirants. Only you begin dey announce yourself. |
Beolly:Edo Central has House of Reps members in the APC. Have their Senator in the APC. This confusion is just due to the mindless selfishness of one person - Oshiomhole! Even in Edo North, he's fast losing regard many had for him. |
senatordave1:Which one be withdraw to allow Wike to destroy . . . ? Na somersault Wike wan use enter the main polls? Nothing concern Wike with Edo elections jare. |
Oshiomhole and his friend Uzodimma would have caused severe damage to the APC. How you go dey play politics like toddler? Just resistant to learning! |
This is the popular position of most sensible Edo sons and daughters today. Oshiomhole, go rest! |
garfield1:True. Do you know within Edo North, there's a lot of dissatisfaction amongst the Owans and Akoko Edos on how Oshiomhole has usurped the turns of other parts of Edo North in political offices, by disregarding mutual understanding and equitable rotation among the sons and daughters of these areas? Don't be surprised when you see unusual patterns from Edo North. Edo South is not made exclusively of Binis, a significant proportion are actually Binis/Esans (even though they are the same people historically), this is same with the indigenes in Edo Central, and North. The separation into different dukedoms (in history) and senatorial zones of today was for some level of autonomy and equity in rulership. And majority of Edos recognize this and take it dearly. That's why when Edos decide to support or fight for a person(s), the opposition go think say the universe dey against am. |
How the likes on Binance take manipulate forex market? Chaiii! |
Does this apply to Hope Uzodimma? |
Postinor:The last governorship election, Edo North support Oshiomhole? Dennis? Make I no laugh again abeg. Obaseki cannot be a godfather to Asuen. Obaseki is very much intelligent and looks at the long-term strategic plan and its contuinity for the State. Someone such as Asuen fits in such role. Rather, it's obviously Oshiomhole always looking for who to control. Pesin wey get sense in the first instance go attempt dey give orders to someone like Obaseki to do his biddings? Now he go carry azaman come wan bamboozle Edolites. E go learn new thing! |
Indispensable85:I doubt. Both of them who are not politically sagacious in the first place were the primary cause of what ensued in the last Edo Guber election. They repeated it last weekend. If they insist on such buffoonery in this attempt to amend cracks by players at the National level, in fact, they would be ignored just as the last time. There are more important, pressing national issues than doing the bidding of one man who enjoyed the goodwill of his people, but repeatedly insists on paying back by imposing his interest on the same people. garfield1:Pacify him? Hope you remember how he was thrown out as national chairman a few years ago due to this his approach to politics. |
garfield1:And Oshio should relax at this stage so APC may even have a chance. Okpebholo/Denco is a fair one which would appeal to Edolites across board. |
OredoPikin:Even Tinubu no go allow Oshiomhole shenanigans add wahala for he head right now...make he just face naija economy, while Shetti face...where dat one dey sef? |
Postinor:Abi? Oshiomhole for godfather. Dey play! Dennis and Oshio wey their two leg dey shake for APC? APC may not even have a candidate. |
Johnames:For him bedroom abi? |
And na full grown adult this one suppose be. If no be Nigeria, how this kind pesin fit sit in front of people begin dey talk nonsense in the name of sermon. |
crestedmazi:Yep, he's Kabaka's uncle. |
OP stop. Different people irrespective of religion or tribe reacted to a video which went viral 2 days ago in which the pastor made a certain declaration. |
Makes a lot of sense. Has been really great. |
DeepSight:No |
fergie001:Exactly. Forget all the show. For battles he can't afford to lose, he negotiates and comes to common ground. The guy na thorough politician. |
fergie001:Wike is one of the smartest negotiators/politicians. |
buhariguy:That's the point! The PDP aspirant, Asue is a well-known personality within leadership, corporate and government spheres with successes in virtually all his engagements, not just within Nigeria, but globally. Even constantly engaged at the National level irrespective of political party or affiliation; he was the chair of the Economic sovereign team in a previous administration. Is this the person Obaseki would want to 'control'? These are pluses for the State, rather than an individual with baggage of fraud, even at the international level. These are even potential leverages the likes of oshiomhole would use against him when he resists being controlled like a puppet. Moreover, We Edos know who we'll support to lead the State, irrespective of party or subethnicity. |
TheOgaBoss:This where you underestimate the Edos. You think Denco put himself there as HOR against the Igbonedions? How did he 'deliver his ward' against the Igbonedions? We look out for interests of the State, not ethnic or Oshiomhole's interest. |
buhariguy:No zone can win the other two in isolation. Because Denco is from Edo South does not mean ALL indigenes of Edo South would vote for him. Edos do not reason in such manner. We totally reject such divisive, selfish agenda Oshiomhole is attempting to introduce into our State. A lot of Edo South delegates voted for Sen Okpebholo, as Edo Central delegates also voted for Denco and others; voting patterns were mixed as usual, but hope uzodimma proceeded to make an announcement different from what the REC made. |
Another candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has emerged as the winner of the All Progressives Congress governorship primary election in Edo on Saturday. The Returning Officer, Stanley Ugboaja, declared Okpebholo the winner with 12,145 votes. Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, who is also the chairman of the APC primary election committee, had earlier declared a House of Representatives member, Dennis Idahosa, the winner of the primary election at the Protea Hotel. However, Ugboaja said he was the right person to announce the result while declaring Okpebholo the winner. “I am the right person to declare the results of this primary election but unfortunately I was not allowed to finish the announcement. We will continue the announcement here (Ize-Iyamu residence). “Having scored the highest number of votes, I hereby declare Senator Okpebholo the winner of the election,” he added. However, the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Peter Uwadiae, described the announcement by Uzodimma as illegal and urged the party hierarchy and APC members to disregard the governor’s action. https://punchng.com/parallel-edo-apc-governorship-candidate-emerges/

Na HK be the employment. |
garfield1:These ones too strong for Denco. We Edos don pass that level of mumu politics or anyone attempting to manipulate based on ethnicity. We Edolites know who Denco be! You wan compare such person with Asue? From campaigns damage don begin already. |
garfield1:What's miniscule about Esan votes? Edo South (the largest portion) has 46.5% of the total votes. And that's not even the critical factor as Edos are not fighting against one another; Popular opinion amongst Edolites today is a call for fairness from all zones. Oshiomhole will simply learn another new political lesson as better qualified candidates with credible track records and repute will be presented and supported on other platforms. |
Oshiomhole is terrible in politics. Vindictive and non-calculative. He'll cause a loss for APC in Edo once again. This misadventure he's embarking upon would leave the political reputation of Denco terribly damaged as well, just as he did to Iyamu. Every Edolite knows the aspirants well. With the way it's going, pDP will continue in Edo. |
