Health › Re: My D&C Experience.... Pls Advice Me by NaMe4: 8:20pm On Dec 07, 2023*. Modified: 8:56am On Dec 08, 2023 |
ojobolinda: I remember how happy I was when I found out I was pregnant!. I hurriedly went and registered for antenantal and I carry out my first Ultrasound same time and it shows 6weeks gestational age which was accurate based on my calculation of my LMP.
After 2weeks and some days, I started having light bleeding and I rush to the hospital to know what was wrong because I try to eat healthy and also try not to stress myself so what is happening?!!. The nurse i met ask me to go for another Scan to be sure the baby is Ok. I went for the scan and that was how my world came crumbling down on me.
Based on the scan result, my baby stopped growing at week 6, I am already 9weeks gone while my baby is still measuring 6weeks just like the first scan I had, and BLIGHTED OVUM was written as the cause. After 2 day, I went to another diagnosis center and was advice to evacuate because I have missed abortion.
I did the D&C a week later and it was painful because I wasn't given any analgesic... My problem right now is that I have been bleeding since the D&C and it comes with cramps at time. The first 2 days, the bleeding was light but now its looking like my normal period bleeding with little blood clot.
Before you advice me to go to the hospital, I have... The Doctor wants to observe me for a week and then give me injection to stop the bleeding but am feeling is not proper, the bleeding should stop by itself if its just ordinary bleeding, why injecting me to stop it
I will be going to the hospital tomorrow to take the injection, pls I want to know if that is the right step to take and has anyone had same experience? Probably you should do a repeat scan. ojobolinda: The doctor said I can't carry out any scan until 2week later. And today is making it just one weeek Having menstrual-like bleeding within the first week post-evacuation is normal. It may also come with mild cramps. But if a repeat scan is considered, it's better done earlier to rule out retained products. 2 weeks may be too long in the event of retained products as the risk of infection/sepsis may be significantly higher. Note: If such scan is done, it's normal to see minimal amounts of tissues or blood within the endometrial cavity (womb) which would flow out similar to menses over a few days. |

Mtchew.
If you resided in Abuja during the administration of El Rufai you'd understand the sort of minister the FCT needs. And Wike is doing well albeit just 6 months in office.
No room for lawlessness anymore!!!
The protest at the National Assembly was against the bombing of civilians in Kaduna. |

honeyB2018: Please quote also the Oba of Benin, saying that Bini founded Lagos State. Don't just stop where he said he is a descendant of Oduduwa. The Oba did not say Bini founded Lagos State. There was nothing like Lagos State at that time. The Bini's governed and oversaw economic activities within an area - an island which was named Eko. You should also understand during that era, there was nothing like 'Yoruba' as a collective group. The empires/kingdoms within the region were Ife, Bini, Oyo, Ijebu and one other, can't recall right now - Ijesa. And there was a lot of interrelationship between these people, even in terms of leadership. That's one of the reasons up till today, you'll see someone from a sub-ethnic group from a certain State governing another State as is seen in Lagos. Also why you must have seen the history that the first Oba of Benin was a son of Oramiyan from Ife. It has been that way. Over time, with the creation of States, Lagos State was formed, having up to 5 major divisions including Eko. |

VEHINTOLAR: Ego triggered gibberish ! Hypocrite, why are you trying to make this look like there was a war of conquest between Binis and Yoruba at any point in history and that the Binis won ?! The truth is that well over 85% of all Yoruba slaves were captured by same Yoruba soilders during the numerous intra Yoruba wars. These slaves were equally sold to wherever by same Yoruba slave merchants of those era. Have you heard of Efunsetan Aniwura,Iyalode Ilu Ibadan before ? You may need to research who Madam Efunsetan was to have an idea of what I'm talking about ! So,what nonsense idea are you even trying to sell here, what's that exactly ?
Look at who is subtly selling the idea of "Yoruba slaves in Benin",funny idiot from a tiny land ! Go and ask your elders at home, there were times in history when Binis were not even permitted to enter the palace of Oba of Benin because it was strictly a sacred Yoruba territory ! Ask them also, only if they will tell you the truth,if Yoruba language was not the official language spoken at the palace of Oba of Benin as at the time the Portuguese arrived in Benin ?!
Lol,Bini this,Bini that ! Who do you people even think you are ? You honestly believe it would have been any challenge for the battle hardened and tested Yoruba Army, ably led by the Ibadan warlords to overrun your tiny kingdom if they had been instructed to do by the Alaafin of Oyo ?! Even your Bini progenitors knew they had alot to thank Oranmiyan for because he was the primary reason why Yoruba Army never declared war and invaded any territory east of Yorubaland! Though some of us consider that decision a mistake given what's happening today !
Whether you Bini admit it or not,the fact is that Benin royalty is of Yoruba descents. It is not by accident that Yoruba culture and heritage is quite visible in Benin, especially at the palace of Oba. From all the deities being worshipped at the palace to the praise names and appellations of the Oba, everything is rooted in Yoruba ! Yoruba people influenced Bini culture but not other way round, it's a fact !
Go and read the Ijaws accounts regarding the history of ancient Benin, read it with free, unbiased mind. The Ijaws were ancient Binis next door neighbors and they stated clearly in their own accounts as thus; "the Binis are the aboriginal people of Benin but the royalty is of Yoruba descent" ! The Ijaws recorded it in their history of Benin that as thus ; an influencial Yoruba Prince from a foreign land (Ile Ife) arrived with a very large entourage of his Yoruba people in Benin and reigned over the city" ! This is not any imagination, you can research it for confirmation. So,you Bini can try as much as you can,the truth will always be the truth !
OBA OF BINI,HISTORICALLY,IS NOT A BINI MAN,HE IS A YORUBA MAN,this is the painful truth you Binis are desperately trying in vain to eraze ! Load of trash! And if you need to engage anyone, to even sound or pretend to be intelligent, desist from childish insults. Go and ask your elders about what I wrote in the earlier post before displaying senselessness here. |

Iamgrey5: My Ancestors were the greatest amongst the Yoruba people and raided slaves in Benin kingdom in late 18 centuries.
Incase you don't know this history, you can ask your Bini people.
Oba should limit his talks to Edo state where is overall imperial power is constantly questioned by ijaws. Even if you guys want to continue with the stupidity started yesterday, don't deteriorate to the point of expressing imaginations. Do you realise in Benin, there are communities and quarters that were handed over to former slaves after the abolishment of slave trade, and a number of these communities were mainly Yorubas who are now Binis? I'm sure you've never heard any Edo mention this, because we believe in dignity and respect of others. You can inquire from any knowledgeable Yoruba who lives in or has a good knowledge of Edo. They go tell you. Do you know Yorubas made up the 2nd largest (some data even argue the highest) number of slaves who emerged from 'Nigeria'? Desist from writing fables or matters you know nothing about. |

Why are some of you (who are even migrants to the Lagos sef) going crazy?
All what the Oba narrated yesterday was History. He was on a historical expedition to Lagos and only mentioned that as part of history.
Did he tell you he owns Lagos?
Have you personally met and argued with any Edo person telling you he owns Lagos?
Has Edo State which is over 6 times the size of Lagos been fully developed that anyone would be eyeing Lagos?
No one has time for such nonsense! |

sotall: Idun is a prefix in Edo language . And means an area or a quarters. Its usually added to another word such as the name of a people so it now means an area where certain people are living or dwelling. Correct. Also used as a prefix in names of clans. |

CSTRR: The South East should start working on a 50% derivation on every barrel of oil that leaves the east.
A 50% derivation on every cubic ft of gas that leaves the east.
50% derivation in every liter of petrol that leaves the Walter Smith refinery to supply outside the south east.
Once some people start running mad in their regions and make their madness state policy, then the South East should immediately send the bill to their various state assemblies. Very understandable adjustment. |

They don't want to run and lose this time around. The question would be: why would PDP reject him and why would APC take such risk to adopt him? Anyway, that's impossible! He has definitely weighed his options and stuck to PDP. Fact is his chances are slim. |

Brek: Nope The Midwest was neutral to fault! Even the Nigerian army hesitated deploying amory to the Midwest (4th Brigade) for self/territorial defence; Ojukwu and certain Igbos resident in the Midwest took advantage of this and betrayed the people of the Midwest. Invaded, killed, incarcerated unarmed people. People who were sympathetic to the ordeal of the Igbos and actively mediated for peace. The whole siege only lasted for 2 weeks, during which resistance by the Edos began and delayed the biafran invaders from proceeding further to the West before Nigerian troops led by Murtala Moh'd and Ogbemudia arrived and began a sweep almost unchallenged. The Nigerian troops proceeded to Asaba where many of the biafran soldiers had already cowardly removed their uniforms and infiltrated the communities in order to hide. This was where the 'Asaba massacre' happened. |

why does it pain u so much? Only god knows. Child of hate I know Fulanis who speak Igbo fluently. paxx: and those people are friends to the igbo race. WHY IS THAT UR BIGGEST PROBLEM? Your children have no food to eat, but you are angry at Igbos. I dont understand why these people are children of hate I was buttressing your point. But the fact remains speaking the language does NOT make them Igbo. And they cannot be forced to be Igbo because they speak the language. |
