Obasanjo made annual budgetary provisions for Aso Rock Clinic for 8 years.

Yaradua made annual budgetry provisions for 3 years.

The "Saviour of democracy" Goodluck Ebele Jonathan made his own Aso Rock budgets every year for 5 years.

That means, 16 years before Buhari, we were budgeting money for Aso Rock clinic.

If all these people had equipped the Aso Rock Clinic, we wouldn't even be screaming Buhari, Buhari today.


If we put politics aside we would all see that las las democracy is a scam in Nigeria.

So it's impossible for Buhari to make it world class in 5 years.

Do you realise that if any of those past leaders made the facility world class (and most likely delivered on their mandates), Buhari would not have smelt Aso Rock?

Nigerian government has no intention of eliminating boko Haram. They work together, make lots of billions from funds set aside for the 'insurgency' and sacrifice our soldiers.

Point of correction pls. Both are quite tedious, but nursing school cannot be compared to the drilling and duration in medical school.

They should have quietly negotiated their pay instead of all this embarrassment. Even the doctors are poorly paid by any standard sef!

There was no need limiting whatever demand they had by comparing pay with the doctors. They could even negotiate more than the doctors' pay. That's obtainable in a lot of Countries.

This is a common problem with patients, that's why as a Dr you are trained to work like a detective in most cases, you don't completely swallow patients info, you rely on your sixth sense to decipher possible lies, especially at a time like this, every fever and cough is a potential suspect!

This patients family should be punished to serve as a lesson to others.

Some patients can lie even in emergency situations. I wonder if it's a culture in this part of the world.

Practically, the doctor may not have all the time interrogating one lying patient in the A&E while having many other patients waiting to be attended to or even more critical cases presenting to the A&E.
Also, very likely, as it's the case in most facilities in Nigeria, they may have been short-staffed in the A&E.

Of course, in the process of admission to a medical ward, other health workers would come in close contact with the patient.

There is no need for all these theories. The quarry company in Edo State that owns the dynamites is known. They followed due process to move it with escort from EOD department of the Police.

Quarry companies use this stuff everyday to blast off large chunks of granite, limestone, marble etc from the ground.

They do transport it by road from point of purchase to quarry site. It's only unfortunate that an accident occurred this time.

THE Certificates of Occupancy of some choice properties belonging to Governor Godwin Obaseki, former Deputy Governor, Dr. Pius Odubu, and the member representing Owan Federal Constituency, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, have been revoked.


The properties are located in the Government Reservation Area.

Others whose properties the C of O were also revoked are Chief Oseni Elamah, Mr. Oghogho Akpata, Susan Itemuagbor, Aigboje Ehidero, AIG Imuokhuede and Noggie Megisson.

Affected corporate bodies in the revocation are CA Aliyu and Company Limited, Bimseg Venture Limited and Sharon Properties.

A document sighted by our reporter showed that the properties were revoked because they are required for the services of the Government of Edo State.

Prof. Ihonvbere said he has completed the building he is erecting on his plot.

A top government official who confirmed the revocation said the governor was also affected.

The source said more land within the GRA would be revoked because all government lands and accommodation have been allocated to individuals.

According to the source, “You can see Governor Obaseki has built quarters for judges but it is not enough and there is the need for more land to build more quarters for the judges.

“Individuals and politicians just allocated government lands to themselves so the governor decided to revoke his own and others. More land will be revoked.”

Dr. Odubu said he only read about the revocation on the social media as there was no newspaper publication yet.

Odubu said he would wait for the governor to carry out the revocation before commenting.
