ProudBornoBoy: Good Day Ladies And Gentlemen, First of all before I begin my writing, I want you all and MURIC in particular to know I'm a Muslim.
I read a topic on front page today written by one Professor Akintola Ishaq, the supposed director of MURIC,
where he was complaining of Christians enjoying more holidays than Muslims in Nigeria.
First of all Sir, with all due respect you made a flaw in your report, you mentioned us (Muslims) having three holidays namely Id al-Kabiir, Id al-Fitr and Maulud an-Nabiy but mischievously omitted the fact that on the occasion of two of the Eids, two days are giving as holiday instead of one day. Making the total number of days five for all the Eids. The Christian on the other hand celebrate New Year, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas And Boxing Day which equals five days. From the above calculation, you can infer that the number of holidays are equal for both Christians and Muslims alike. It's is therefore wrong for you to be creating a storm where there is none, of all the problems Muslims are facing in our country, this is not what you should be even bothered about in the first place.
Secondly, your overzealousness as I see it, should be channelled to better projects that will help the Muslims in our country. We are plagued by insurgency, extreme poverty, homeless children roaming the north, lack of education e.t.c. and of all these problems, it's number of holidays that is bothering you, Subhanallah. The root cause of most of these problems is overpopulation which you should use your platform to enlighten Muslims to be proactive and seek for solutions to this problems.
And stop using a free domain name for your blog, you are big enough to have a custom domain name.
In the famous words of Albert Einstein,
"We can not solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them"
I drop my pen.

Cc: Seun Lalasticalala Dominique Thank you very much. 1st For correcting that clear dubious "error" of the Prof. I was just too tired and uninterested to write yterday. 2ndly, for talking about what should really matter to the north. I have been looking for young northerners who think like this. I know they must be many |

Ojukwucriminal: STFU you slow iPod terrorist..
There are More iPod pigs in the North compared to the ones in your entire south east. Now if the east was a safe haven hundreds and thousands of you peripatetic migrants won't be escaping from the shithole you call human habitat. Go to Lagos and see the number of ipods there.. kano nko? I doubt there are as much Northerners in the south east than we have iPods in kano alone. Why will you iPods leave a human habibat to an inhabitable region?? Worsestill the externally displaced ones scattered all over the north, don't want to go back home. Empty chest beating as usual
At least we didn't go to Ghana or South Africa to commit crimes. Who are those being killed in South Africa and issued notices in Ghana? Who are the drug barons constituting nuisance in south Africa? Who are those prostituting in Libya and repatriated back to Nigeria?? Care to distinguish between Nigerians suffering in Nigeria and those using innocent ghanian kids for rituals, those doing cyber crime, populating the streets of Ghana and doing practically nothing and end up being incarcerated in ghanian prisons next time you see them on Twitter. Not all Igbos are IPOBs you know!! Anyways, you and the fellow you quoted are both madd, loz....... |

This is a clear case of Nepotism in appointing someone who has veey little experience in the power sector as a Chief Executive only because his dad is the Presidents friend.

You that is not a slave, what did you benefit from all the southerners that has held public offices before? I appreciate that rail line because it is very important to the development of my region. This is my opinion, you can have yours as well, it's a free world!!! So the "development" is the 2 unfinished projects like I thought? Ok. I will pass Bye |

Politics › Re: Buhari: Mr. President, What Is Happening? By Gabriel Ogunjobi by nameo: 12:42pm On Dec 15, 2019 |
Sirjamo: Absolute nonsense! Obasanjo was there for 8 years, he did not bring any development worth 1 million dollars to the whole of southern Nigeria. GEJ was there for 6 years, what did he do for us aside the paper sketch of the second Niger bridge?
Buhari might be nepotistic but he has done far more for the south than all the three Presidents that preceded him.
He can pick all his appointees from Daura, I don't care, so long they don't take all developments to the north. This has gat to be one of the most stupidd rebutals I have ever read on NL? So you are OK with been a slave as long as your masters are kind enough to give you some of the crumbs right? You do know that that is exactly how slavery works right? And this is even conceding that the south has got better "developments" under Buhari. A blatant LIE. I know you are going to call Ibadan-Lagos Exp Road and the Lagos-Ibadan Railway, two unfinished projcets by the way. Some of you are so far gone and SHAMELESS to boot |

I have never believed in Buhari Govt cos I know history, and am smart enough to understand precedence.
I have even grown to totally find his Govt disgusting. And the unimaginable failures in terms of Governance is not even amongst the top 2 reasons.
That belongs to the competence of people appointed under this admin and especially to the mind blowing nepotism been actively and deliberately pushed by this President.
Buhari is Nigeria's worst President/Leader. And may God judge those persons that supported and who still support him. |
