Salary and upfront is huge . When they are telling you to accept it means is worth it. Is it that you want them to tell you the exact salaries and upfront allowances? I will be damned if anyone will ever wants to leave PEF for somewhere else.

Who told you the second test was a rewrite? I know someone that got 50%and was sent a regret mail. Make your findings before concluding on things you're not sure about.

I am still wondering why we find it difficult to understand that the second test was a rewrite... Point out 1 person that wrote the first test and didn't write the second one...

They didn't make use of the first test scores and so whether you scored 99% or 1% in the first test, it no longer mattered cos everyone was asked to rewrite...

Don't expect that same thing to happen a second time...

A lot of factors would likely come into play going into the next stage
1. Federal character
2. Discipline
3. Scores
4. Recommendations

Let's take a case scenario.

Premise 1: NCDMB needs 10 Engineers and 10 Accountants
Premise 2: 20 deltans scored between 70-80 for Engineering, and 15 scored between 70-80 for Accounting
Premise 3: 20 people from Bauchi scored between 50-60 for Engineering, and 10 between 45-50 for Accounting (apologies if i used your state, its not an actual representation of the intellectual strength of these states)
Premise 4: They need 5 people from each state per discipline

Conclusion: Someone from bauchi who scored 60 might be taken for Engineering leaving behind someone from Delta who scored 75, due to the fact that the last premise must be fulfilled...

Brother you've said it all even though I would have love you to let the scores mongers have their say. I realized that most of them doesn't know that the course of study plays vital role than anything else in this kind of recruitment.

There can never be a uniform cut off mark for all States, it will simply be the best candidates from each state or geopolitical zone.
There must be a fair representation for all States of the federation in the recruitment exercise.
Adopting a general cut off mark will undoubtedly bring inequality into the system.
Assuming that they would like to interview 1000 candidates, about 60-70% could come from a certain geopolitical zone, while some zones could not have even up to 5% which is against the laid down procedures for recruitments into public service.
Anyway, whatever the case maybe, i trust NCDMB to do their homework well and it could take longer than expected. Some people that scored high will be dropped and some that scored low will make it to the next level. Begin to look beyond scores please.

Definitely bro, they won't recruit all Engineers, all Scientists or all lawyers and social/management scientists, taking note of geographical or national coverage is also a mandatory requirement. They must have to find a criteria for selection that can accommodate all. And it can't be achieved by scores alone.

The cut mark is 40% because a lot of persons score less than 35% percent in the second test, the Executive Secretary, Engr. Simbi Wabote (Fnse) was very disappointed at the result and query TestMi, Management concluded no need for a Third test
Next stage is Interview

I don't think he's ready to share anything because whether 50% or 60% or 70% is peg as the cut off mark not everyone will get in. Besides he sounded rude that was why some people were attacking him. They will contact people when they are ready.

Most people working there will never tell you their actual pay. I have seen payslip for DPR and PPPRA and honestly i was shocked because all the amounts you see on APL were just peanuts compared to the actual pay. I pray we get in and enjoy money jare. Thank you!

Many salary figures quoted here are actually not correct. No agency under MPR pays unconfirmed fresh GT more than N400,000 monthly as net pay (everything inclusive). Only DPR and PPPRA are strip of hair away from that amount.

Even a diploma holder gets more than that

If it is by strength of staff, PTDF would have been the highest paying oil and gas agency given that they have lesser staff strength than the rest. Is the allowances that differ and it is the difference because some of them have other extra allowances while others do not.

That’s an exaggeration. All the agencies you’ve mentioned are under MPR.....and like I said earlier, remuneration is the same in terms of basic, only allowances differ due to staff strength. On that note, maybe PEF could have the advantage due to very few staff compared to these other popular ones......but using the word “learning” is an obvious exaggeration. And please note that I only said “maybe”.

To give you context, read up any of the agencies’ ACTS and you’d see that it’s even on paper that remuneration should be the same with any similar agency in the MPR. I’m not forcing this down your throat, please feel free to read up anyone. I can help you with one if you so ask.
