I have a different view to this matter. I think the university is trying to making the graduation gowns available for graduands to take pictures in even when the convocation will be held virtually. There are students and parents who love to keep records as this from Matriculation gown to graduation gown. It's left for the university authorities to clarify the memo issued but in any case, N15,000 is too much. |
post=98122731:It is wrong to speak for him when he hasn't completed his tenure in office. Besides, the constitution of this country does not permit a stay beyond the 8 years tenure. So, praising him as if he is doing anything extra ordinary makes no sense at all. |
deepwater:Not completely true. Check the digital Card on the mobile app and you will see this. |
One should question the reasoning of this people that came up with this breakdown. From statistics, Lagos has the highest number of case. Is it not reasonable to based the distribution on number of cases so far in each state rather than come up with the nonsense distribution which I feel was based on population instead of COVID 19 cases? We just have a sick government. |
The new year prophecy is for their members to know. Media made this known to others outside their denominations. It shouldn't be your headache if you are not their members. It shows that you pay attention to them this is why you talk about or you are bothered about their prophecies. |
Kestolove:You saw nothing else to write about but to talk about men of God. Is the school a church or is the state ministry of education controlled by the man of God? Let's be careful of how we just attack people anyhow all in the name of pouring your anger. |
shallomtr:What if she needs the money to fight this case to the end? Have you also thought of this too? We always condemn the victims and this is why bad practices continue in the society. |
philip0906:The same way you are typing nonsense all in the name of encouraging bad practices to continue in our society. The same way you are not thinking of the future of other children in such school especially with the other children and the staff of the school. So, who is the hypocrite here? So, you know bad practices continue when the good people refuse to do something about it. |
shallomtr:Investigation that is going towards covering up the truth or what investigation are you referring to? You read a Newpaper report on this about 100 Million and believed. Did you also listen to the mother's side today where she said she never demanded for this? You say the woman has an hidden agenda, did you listen to what the boy said? If the woman has one, how about the boy and his honest response and how he didn't give response to what he wasn't sure of? Should bad practices continue in a school? Should a child be unsafe after spending so much for his education? Should we have a system where parents are scared of sending their children to boarding schools? This case is a case of the mother vs the bad practices in school and not the mother vs deeper life. Infact, it is the responsibility of the church for the fear of God to ensure justice is served. |
philip0906:See reasoning. Did you take your time to watch this video before being heartless in your comment? Must everything be about the money? Insensitive comment without a second thought on the child affected. Insensitive comment without a second thought on the need for justice. This is the reason Nigeria is the way she is today simply because we don't seek for justice but allow justice to be subverted. |
Whiteshield:If you follow up on her own side of the story and not base it on media or reports from representatives of Deeper life, you will know that she has involved a Lawyer. Should she keep quiet when they are trying to cover up this terrible act? Should she keep quiet in a society where affluence matters above justice? If you listened to the child (victim), you will know that this is not the case of falsehood but a case to be taken seriously. The boy gave honest response and never made up answers but will decline when he doesn't have an answer to the question asked by the Mum. It's high time we started seeking for justice rather than taking sides. This case isn't a case of the mother vs deeper life but a case of the mother vs bad practices in the school. The society we live in will always try to cover up justice all in the name of saving institutions or individuals involved. |
Whiteshield:Why depend on Newspaper to draw your conclusions on matters as this? Also, calling her names is not so good. Will you be happy if you experience what she is facing presently and at the same time called all sorts? Have you seen the video she released today where she denied this and also asked the child to speak on the situation? Hearing the child speak shows the whole thing happened? |
Saying Happy New year by 2pm is a sick idea from a Pastor. He should have passed his message of obeying the government on the 12 midnight curfew than spewing rubbish. If he had talked about we not placing so much importance on cross over service, I would have supported him 100% but bringing Australian time to this is absolutely sick. It's like saying I live in Nigeria but follow Australian time. It is really sick trying to speak intelligently but at the same time saying rubbish. Why can't he organise his Sunday services and other programmes in Australian time too? Just sick thought. |
I will advise you that you have great chances of winning this case. Keep all evidence and go meet a competent Lawyer. The Lawyer will probably ask you to pay for the processing fee at the court which is a small fee and then, an agreement will be reached on the percentage of money to be recovered from SOKOLOAN. This case is a case of character defamation and they need to come up with evidence of how you were an EXISTING criminal (what police station confirmed this, what crime made you an existing criminal and who you committed the crime to/with for you to be tagged an existing criminal). Also, they will need to provide evidence of how you were on the run (where you ran to, what efforts they put in place to search for you and how they arrived at this conclusion). The company in question is owned by Chinese who never trained their staff in a professional settings but keep recruiting all in the name of wanting to make profit. Don't be surprised, this company also have several loan apps in Nigeria. So, it is not just Soko but about 2 or other 3 apps with different names. These Chinese are only concerned about money they can make in Nigeria while their staff are of the slavery mindset in their own country. Their staff think and reason like slaves and slaves alone. No thought on seeing themselves as service providers for the company. In fact, it is the staff also that come up with this type of message because of their slavery mentality without any thought on the legal implications of this. Their thoughts are always that whoever borrows money from SOKO can't afford a Lawyer to take up cases when the time comes. Their staff are graduates but act like uneducated people as there are several ways of getting your money without character defamation which includes sending a message plainly that this person has defaulted in repaying loan to his guarantors (there is nothing as embarrassing as this). |
Nanaborga:At the same time used 13 billion Naira (using Cappa and D'alberto) to build church auditorium when he can empower many youths with such amount. Also, using the pulpit of God to speak words that Jesus Himself wouldn't have ultered. Using the pulpit to speak his view not God's view. |
jesusjnr2020:What truth is this that has no Biblical backup? We only get our truth from the living word of God and not personal conviction. They are two different things. If you go by the analogy given and what the Bible says the wise men were star readers. Where in the Bible did you get your truth that star readers are men of God? Your truth can be likened to the present situation of things that anybody seen doing miracles too can be called a man of God. Remember, God could use anyone to achieve his aim. So, please always draw your truth from the Bible and not impose your own truth on the Bible. |
hisexcellency34:So, your sadness is also dependent on Tinubu? Can't people be grateful for being alive and be happy for this? |
This government and lies. They just keep manufacturing lies per second. All in the name of painting repentant bandits with good image and make it seem the government knows what they are doing, they came up with the nonsense. They also claimed no ransom was paid yet we didn't hear of life lost either the soldiers, terrorist or even any of the children in the course of rescuing them. It's like this government thinks we reason like Lai Mohammed when he fabricates his lies. |
AuroraB:Here is another report - https://www.thebreakingtimes.com/telemed-ceo-describes-death-of-ucths-consultant-neurosurgeon-dr-nnadi-as-shocking/ |
mithras:Check this link since you did not do your assignment before sounding like an authority on this matter https://www.thebreakingtimes.com/telemed-ceo-describes-death-of-ucths-consultant-neurosurgeon-dr-nnadi-as-shocking/ |
I read a different report about this Neurosurgeon and it talked about the accumulation of dust and fume in the environment where he was due to traffic as the cause of his death. He was stuck in traffic for 3 hours. Being an asthmatic patient he wasn't able to survive this. Now, it has been twisted to COVID 19? Na wa o https://www.thebreakingtimes.com/telemed-ceo-describes-death-of-ucths-consultant-neurosurgeon-dr-nnadi-as-shocking/ |
seunmsg:Just the way Leah Sharibu is back. This happened under Buhari's government. Did Buhari learn so well and forgot that the security and safety any citizen no matter the number is also his priority? |
Kaduna1stson:Is this about an individual or the state of the country? I feel bad when people don't see any wrong in acts like this but bring in politics. How did I appear in Nigeria? This is one question I can't just answer. Why Nigeria of all countries? |
helinues:God will judge you for this. So stray bullet will hit several people, right? Now that the evidence is pouring in. There is a change of story again. Hmmmm..... I understand that part of the scriptures that says the heart of man is desperately wicked. |
This topic is misleading. Why on earth will someone use ENDSARS protesters when the story says hoodlums? |
[quote author=Christistruth00 post=96222210]The BBC Reporter that was there also said Soldiers shot into the Air and she saw no fatalities. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlSRq_WAdlE eye witness from BBC who spent 20mins and went for cover is more important than eye witnesses who were on ground throughout, did live coverage and gave their accounts. It's so sad how people sold their soul to wickedness and evil. Here is CNN confirming that they carried out several investigations and scientific approach to verify the incidence and you are here typing rubbish. Tell me, do you think other countries are in stone age just like Nigeria with nothing to show for it technologically? If you are backward like Nigeria, please don't drag other countries to your backwardness. |
dumodust:Just the way the Government know it all and not open to the citizens view? Is this the government you support? |
dumodust:I don't know if you are pained by my point but the truth still remains the same. The government cannot be seen as superior in knowledge when you are dealing with those who run the institution of higher learning. Simple fact. |
dumodust:There is no sentiment in this. Your thoughts have revealed the usual sentiment. No wonder the likes of Facebook and Twitter owners will come to Nigeria, pick our people to help grow their brand but the usual Nigerian thought will never make us see that we are good on our own. Besides, why sound as if Lecturers who came up with this are illiterate and not knowledgeable. You keep reasoning as if you are speaking of people who don't know what they are doing. You talked about continuity, even a learner in I.T world knows this. It is okay to be skeptical after asking ASUU to come up with a payment platform, right? Only to do a U-turn and go for IPPIS where government pay heavily for the platform. Besides, where is the place of test running and then, accept this than the hasty way of being always wasteful with the sole aim of looting in some cases. Please, stop raising dust like I stated earlier. |
Chibueze90:We cannot develop as a Nation. Rather than look inward, we depend so much on others for whatever they invent. I keep asking one question, why do we have several research institute and institutions of higher learning, yet, we are not developing science and technology wise? If we all get to the root of this, we will discover that we have a bad government always wasteful just to loot. |
dumodust:What breach? Are government platforms not breached also? So, please stop raising dust over this. This is the reason why we never value our own and also believe the other is superior. For ASUU to have developed UTAS, they also have considered and weighed all issues too. Stop sounding as if these people are illiterate and not knowledgeable while the government know so much. |
dumodust:Anti-virus is different from a payment platform. The same way they built IPPIS and government is paying for the platform is not different from the built UTAS given free. Both are built. |
