You see... One thing about Northerners is that, they love to be in power. That Igbo guy asked him, "what if Peter Obi picks Kwankwaso as VP" and the guy twisted it to "Kwankwaso picks Obi as VP". If truly Obi and Kwankwaso are interested in changing Nigeria and not for selfish interest, they need to come as one. Who becomes President and VP shouldn't be an issue at all but because Politicians are same, they don't want to agree who becomes the boss... meanwhile, they can both make the change happen. Even their supporters are not helping matter too. I saw lots of arguments on Twitter too.. Northerners want Kwankwaso to lead, Igbos no wan gree...

Buhari is from the Northwest and is almost rounding up 8 years, and you want Peter Obi from the south east that has never ruled this country since 1966 to step down for Kwankwaso who's from the north west to run for another 8 years?

Kwankwaso should be the one to swallow his pride and step down for Peter Obi, I don't know what he's dragging sef. He can't win any state outside Kano and Jigawa.

Banks and companies would be forced to pay daily dues to the overall tout controlling the area they're located in.

Lagos would become like Colombia and Mexico, run by a mafia boss and his goons.

If you people are not ready to read the hand writing on the wall and know that APC has no good agenda for Nigerians then get ready for poverty and suicide 2.0 cos Buhari would be a Messiah compared to tinubu.

All these can be traced to the influx of people from useless governors that have refused to develop their state, while their indigene residing in Lagos constituting nuisance with no value are making governance difficult for responsible citizens.

The population of New York is almost 5 times that of lagos, yet you can't compare both in terms of development.

Manhattan alone houses more foreign diplomats and Nationals from various parts of the world than Lagos, yet their roads and infrastructure and world class.

Lagos problem has nothing to do with non indigenes, it's a case of excessive waste of the state's resources by the ruling cabal which I believe you know.

I believe we should put the blame on parents and religious centers. Most parents today have no business raising kids, they're so wayward and respect no one. Take a stroll to big churches where wealthy people attend and see things for yourself. I once witnessed an incident where a parent publicly slapped and insulted a children department teacher for disciplining her son right there in the church. What do you expect of such child when he/she grows up, of course he can choose to become gay and since he didn't grow up with strong morals, no one would be able to stop him.

The church on the other hand aren't helping matters, pastors today spend more time preaching about prosperity than morality. No one cares.

I was at Oshodi last week, then drove to luth via mushin/idi-araba during the heavy down pour, I almost wept coming out with a car when I could have just booked an Uber.

Mushin/idi-araba roads and most interconnecting roads across Lagos are hellish.

In the 90s there use to be running water from Lagos State water cooperation supplying water to all the household in the state, today if you don't have borehole where you live, be prepared to be buying water from mallams.

Are we forgetting traffic robberies, insecurity, high crime rate, thuggery... etc.

If not for the Port that opened the door to foreign companies, lagos would have be a Shadow of itself by now. Cos the tax it receives doesn't correspond with the development and security on ground.

After 2 years of tinubu in office, when he must have taxed everything in Nigeria including the very air they breath with the excuse of generating funds to run the economy, these same people would be here lamenting how the political elites don't care about the masses.

But when they had the opportunity to change it they refused and choose to go the tribal and religious path.

I sha know I won't be here in Nigeria to partake in their suffering so whatever happens in 2023 is none of my business, the least I can do is to vote my conscience.

Can we just forget about this Kwankwaso of a man already...it would be very foolish of Peter Obi to abandon PDP where he had an almost certain spot of becoming a VP to become VP to a light weight politician like Kwankwaso.

No one knows Kwankwaso's name in the whole south (SE, SS, SW) the reason why he even trended on Twitter last week was because of Obidents who were eager to have him join the movement.

Now it seems the whole stuff isn't working have you heard anything about him on social media again, the Kano and Jigawa they're saying he controls he lost those sates to Buhari in 2019.

He lost his reelection as governor to shekaru in 2003 even though he was the incumbent governor.

His proxy/placeholder lost his senatoral seat to Shekaru in 2015. And he also lost the presidential primaries to Jonathan. That was the end of his Senatoral career.

His party PDP lost the governorship election to gandunje, if he was so popular and had a cult like followership, why couldn't his candidate whom he backed defeat ganduje?

Please let's stop over hyping this man and set our eyes towards another popular Northern Muslim that is ready to move this country forward with Peter Obi. He's not as popular as he claims to be.

Tinubu is a very talented politician no doubt. Buhari wouldn't have gotten power in 2015 if he hadn't formed an alliance with tinubu, so I believe it's safe to say that tinubu is the Oracle of Nigeria politics.

But my concern with Tinubu’s Presidency is that; he doesn't view the position as an office with serious responsibility. He wants the presidency as a divine settlement and compensation for the sacrifice he made for Buhari and others in office.

I listened to his emilokan video and I saw how he addressed the governor of Ogun state as "this one". This is where I have problem with him....Nigeria shouldn't be viewed as a settlement package, so many youths are suffering terribly. Every year, thousands of Youth coppers do their POP across the nation, but there are no jobs for them. The few that manage to get something are under paid.

This days, you can hardly chat with an old friend or classmate and disclose your working status without them begging you for money and making you feel bad if you don't succumb to their request...it's that bad. Crime is increasing everyday, people are becoming dishonest, because of hunger.

Tinubu singlehandedly presented Buhari to Nigerians. They promised to reduce fuel prices, to make the naira strong, to create jobs, even fashola you mentioned in your post that said uninterrupted electricity isn't rocket science was made minister of power yet was there any change in the country's electricity problem?

I say this with regret that in 2015, having seen the corruption that infested Jonathan's government, I believed so much in the change Tinubu and his APC were offering us. And as an Igbo person I voted for APC in 2015, and tried to correct my error in 2019 by voting Atiku, unfortunately he lost.

I'm not a tribalistic person, I want the best for my country. Cos I know that if Nigeria is progressing it would benefit each and every one of us.

Now to Peter Obi...Peter Obi isn't a saint; no politician is, I was a student of Unizik during his days as governor and I can tell you in all confidence that he did his best for the state.

The difference between the two candidates is that one has been able to identify the problems the country is currently facing and has given us a logical solution to them, while the other believes it's his right and turn and spends his time consulting powers in higher places so as to form an alliance with them and get elected.

The ball is in the court of the youths to make their choice.

Peter Obi should have an easy win over Abuja. Even Buhari lost there in 2019.
