Crime › "Dallas Area Home To Huge Health Care Frauds" (nigerian Americans) by Ndipe(op): 10:37pm On Jul 28, 2016 |
Hundreds of North Texas Nigerian-Americans are caught up in the biggest home health care frauds ever uncovered by U.S. law enforcement. Federal indictments were issued in 2012 against those who allegedly profited the most from half a billion dollars in fraudulent local Medicare billings. But many other Nigerian-Americans living in the area and operating small health care businesses were also involved, federal law enforcement officials say. Those officials say most of the health care fraud in Texas is committed by Texans with no particular ethnic background. And community leaders insist most Nigerian-Americans in the health care business in the Dallas area are honest. But law enforcement officials and leaders in the Nigerian-American community describe Dallas home health care fraud as rampant and say a surprising number of the perpetrators — a third of all cases under investigation — involve Nigerian-Americans... http://www.dallasnews.com/business/health-care/20140215-dallas-area-home-to-huge-health-care-frauds.ece |

jimi4us: I've been to Ikoyi , lekki and VI. But I have never see anything like Abuja empty houses. Millions of houses are completely built but nobody to buy them or even rent them. The developers there are very greedy. Somewhere in maitama (ministers hill) a duplex for sale goes for N2.5billion. Scary world out there. Greed. |

I could remembered when they awarded Bianca Onoh (now the wife of the Late Ojukwu) the title of Miss Nigeria and later on Miss World Intercontinent when Miss Venezuela passed out from the shock of the result. That was pure ojoro
They should have thrown Nigeria out of the competition. Read it was due to the excessive heat at the National Theatre the day of the pageant that made some of the contestants faint. |

So long as she does her job well n does no harm, I don't think dts a big deal. I may be naive but I dont think it's a big deal. Growing up, we had maids who used to socialize with others in the neighborhood. The one downside is gossip is bound to occur in such a scenario. But seriously, she should be watching TV at home instead of the neighbors, dont want to inconvenience others, but some people dont really see that as a big deal. |

You can order the book from Amazon.com (It's called "The Dark Child": but in Nigeria, its called "The African Child" The 'foreign' girl you are referring to is Marie who later on became his real life wife. P/S: I stumbled upon the review of Terry McMillan's new novel, "I almost forgot about you" It is a love story and the critic of the novel says, "Everybody wants a happy ending. . . " meaning everybody wants a love story to have a happy ending. |

According to what I have read, the Queen of Sheba had a son for King Solomon named Menelik (look up the information) and Ethiopian Jews trace their ancestry through him. However, the article that I read about the Nigerian woman states that she was a childless widow. So, which one can possibly be true? |
