This is pure jeolousy. Envying your own family members is the height of witchcraft

It's not their fault that they live in a place where the 10 dollars you send can get them a luxury it can't afford you over there. If you look at it, you still spend the bulk of your money more than them because you send them chingum money that can't take you a week but spend thousands of what you send to them here for yourself. So how are they enjoying more than you?
Person go just dey begin calculate the small 100 dollars ( wey be like 100 naira to am) wey him dey send say e too much. Small prayers wey you for receive for sending a meager 100 dollars, you now lose it because of over calculations.

It's this wicked mentality that is making many of you to be stingy. It's very bad. If they have the opportunity to be there like you, I'm sure they won't ask you for anything.

Keep your money. Those in naija go still shine and fresh pass una because we eat real natural organic food and get natural Vit D year round.
You guys wait. It's only a matter of time, we will soon have good govt and nobody will send you and your lonely lives abroad anymore.

Very stingy people.
No mind them jare.

Your likes make criminals everywhere, for for instance nobody in NNPC salary is more than 500000 naira, which is less than 500 dallar equivalent , tell me what this money can do for you... These people are criminals stop defending them.
Even if the salary is 5m monthly, the person still cannot afford to send a child abroad to school.

This isn't true...

I didn't watch the video... But going by the headline.

False and disrespectful.

They are top management level civil servants who have worked hard and honestly for years (some upwards of 25 - 30 years) and have been able acquire modest property and send their wards to be educated in other parts of the world. Not because the money they have is in abundance but some go as far as acquiring loans.

You can't tell me a top level manager at NNPC for instance must steal before acquiring property or sending his kids to study abroad. Especially if he has worked and saved deligently for a considerable period of time.

This statement is quite a disrespect and discouragement to honest and hardworking civil servants... Especially the young and up coming ones looking to make a career out of the civil service!
Oga, will the official salary of that Nnpc oga be above 2m monthly? Even the president's official salary is not up to 2m. Even the top level Nnpc manager earning 2m monthly cannot afford to sponsor a kid abroad not to talk of kids. How much is eg pounds sterling, ₦1800, that means I session school fees of 15,000 pounds yearly for 4 years. What of accomodation, cost of living, bus pass, pocket money, clothing, flight tickets for school and holidays. A child will cost not less than 35k pounds (₦63m) yearly. No civil servant including oga at the top ordinarily can afford that unless there is magomago aka stealing involved.

And some people claim legalization of guns will make Nigeria better.

This man's encounter shows that many unarmed people aspire to become terrorist but lack weapons. Imagine villagers using the arms to fight soldiers in defense of terrorists. It means the villagers want to join terrorism.
Oga, does the story make sense to you? He says troops kill terrorist the villagers hide the weapons of the dead criminals, later dig them up and attack the troops that came to save them from the rear.
How do troops fire and kill terrorists and then leave the weapons with the dead bodies for the villagers to pick and hide. Is it that the army opens fire, the bandits die, the troops then ceasefire allow the villagers enter the killzone to collect the guns then soldiers advance over the bodies, the villagers then take the collected weapons to attack the troops? Even police when they fight armed robbers and kill them, do they leave the guns on the dead bodies then proceed to chase the remaining robbers, leaving the guns for people to pick and hide to use to chase the same police?
Abeg, you should realize this oga army just blew some "lamba".

The case of igbos supporting a particular tribe was partaining or peculiar to party not the person the party fielded as a candidate.. PDP has always be igbo party from the 2nd republic and majority of their political elites are loyal to the party and they enjoy the power and wealth formula bestowed to them by PDP as a party.. The story changed because APC used divide and rule tactics in form of religion and tribalism which really showed the true color of Igbos.. From the beginning I have always advocated for igbos presidency until last election I discovered the more I look the less I see which means igbos are also as tribalistic as hausa in fact I came to the understanding that the northerners are not that tribalistic, it was the religious bigot among that falls for that political gimmicks and which comes to play in north central where the majority of Christians in the North's voted for Obi and vice versa(majority of religion voted for muslims muslims ticket).. Though, this problem started because Buhari and APC cannot manage our diversity but the revealing part of it is that it unleashed the tribal part of igbos which was conceal under their loyalty to PDP party.. And the truth of the matter is that if PDP presented an igbo candidate like obi they will vote for PDP and if there is no alternative for igbos they would rather vote for PDP than voting APC.. They supported Atiku in 2019 because of obi not because they liked Atiku or PDP
Why will any sane person vote for APC after the first 4 years and last 4 years apc did ruining the country?
It really does not make sense.
Regarding igbos and PDP, tribal voting, I am sure igbos vote for the rather progressive party. PDP was in government for 16 years, they voted Obj, yar adua, Jonathan all against other parties that had igbo vice or presidential candidates.
On the claim of hatred for APC, kindly note that there are valid reasons, eg, PDP was in government for 16 years, met the dollar at ₦90, in the 16 years it remained stable rising to 140. It was only during the normal election period in which political activities affect exchange rates the naira fell to 180-₦200.
What did the apc do? Within just 8 years of apc, naira fell to 750 to the dollar. The next one under Tinubu ie total 9 years so far of apc, the dollar is now 1500 and rising!! In just 9 years!! There is mass migration of Nigerians. Poverty inflicted on a mass scale.

Eg, one fellow I just commented on was telling another person he will wail for the next 7 years, say 1 year just pass, the usual tirade. Great move, how can a Nigerian living in Nigeria have his or her savings in dollar?

Even dollar sent from diaspora NIGERIANs refuse to convert and spend it rather wait till the price goes up and they cash out.

Our problem is not the land or the leaders but the orientation of average Nigerian so corrupt and self centered, always money oriented above humanity.
Is dollar our currency? What concerns anyone with my dollars assuming I have any? Eg, I go abroad, earn some dollars, then fly into nigeria, what right does anyone have to make me change the money? Afterall, I did not earn it in naija, neither did I get it from cbn.
If I decide to eat it, burn, use as tissue paper, change it, dash it out etc, it is no bodies business.

I wish we could all decide to drastically reduce our taste for foreign goods.

Imported drinks, designer wear, luxurious cars, furniture, cosmetics, even toothpicks huh all require loads of forex. The truth is that if we concentrate our focus on patronising local producers more, they'll improve over time and we'll save more forex. Reno Omokri may sometimes sound like town crier, but he said as much. When given a deep thought, it's obvious that he's right.
If goverment and politicians do not do what you suggest, is it then the average struggling Nigerian that should do so? Abi is the average Nigerian able to afford to send his kids to school in Canada, us, UK at huge demand on forex? Is it the ordinary Nigerian that warehoused billions during the last elections but could not use it due to Emefieles new naira notes, and now change the cash to forex there by depleting all the dollars?
Is it the average Nigerian that imported 450 Toyota suvs at $150k each?
Is it the ordinary Nigerian drinking "40year old" imported whiskey?
Tell the people in goverment living large lifestyles to rather reduce their taste for foreign goods. Has oga at the top not gone to France on personal visit on which he will blow forex, is is son not presently in UK and France (davidos concert) on private jet levels also blowing dollars, euros and pounds?
