FOJEM:
Little wonder the Arts and commercial students are the billionaires of today all around the world, while the science students have turned into sellers of herbal supplements because the drugs you developed are no longer effective!
Nobody is saying art students are less intelligent or sucessful. They are probable even more intelligent.
What I am saying is the combination of subjects and the chances of making a high score. There is no doubt the core science courses are more difficult to obtain high scores than art or commercial subjects combination.
This is not in anyway relegating art or commercial course combinations.
As per your first sentence. Both are sucessful, though last I checked, Bill gates, Elon mush, Jeff bezoz, mark Zuckerberg etc are still doing quite well.

Every student is great in his or her own way

The above comment is very bias and unintelligent

An intelligent art studen would have a higher IQ, EQ and sq than an intelligent science student.

Test the social survey as most intelligent science students are tagged as introverts
Oga, the fellow is very right.
That combination of physics, chemistry, biology, English/math's cannot be compared to eg, literature, English, economics, government.
If this girl had been an art student, she probably would have scored 500//400.

According to ngige, Nigerians will survive any suffering, they will adjust to hardship and poverty inflicted on them. Abi no be Nigerians we know again?
Nigerian lion is also "adjusting" to survive. It has turned to vegetarian. Give it carrots and bananas and watch it chew.
This lion is a metaphor of the majority of Nigerians.

Politics › Re: Subsidy Removal: Spending On Petrol May Jump 250% To ₦‎8 Trillion by nedekid: 2:55pm On May 08, 2023
Reference:
The price of petroleum products is determined by international market forces of which Dangote is likely to subscribe to.

Anything lower than that will require government throwing cash at him aka subsidies except if he will be sold crude at discounted rates creating another vicious cycle of corruption.
Quite incisive.
If I remember right though, I think Nnpc bought into dangote refinary when they paid about 3b usd. The idea is to create capacity for Nnpc where crude will be given to dangote to refine on their behalf. Aside that, even if dangote has to buy crude at international market price, don't you think his cost will be greatly cheaper since cost of shipping, international banking charges, insurance etc will be reduced?

Politics › Re: Subsidy Removal: Spending On Petrol May Jump 250% To ₦‎8 Trillion by nedekid: 12:21pm On May 08, 2023
Let it be removed. Nnpc should remove their filty hands from importation. Anyone that can import should be allowed to. It should be like importing biscuit. Those that will setup refinaries should. Dangote too should produce. This will create competition and crash the price
Only thing that concerns gov is to regulate quality.

Amen.
Hopefully it will ensure more fx in circulation. If it can return naira to ₦120 to $1. Automatically, 100m Nigerians will be removed from poverty.
Anyway, let's keep our fingers crossed, because we know in Nigeria unlike other countries when things go up, they never come down.

Let me use myself as an example, I earn around #200k monthly give or take, since the time of Yaradua.
Then, with 50k, I sort out food for the family and it was well off, we eat to our taste and fill. Now, same 50k is just for a bag of rice and maybe a sack of gari. We spend more on food, wit the high cost of living ie fuel, fees, rents, etc
Now, can someone tell that midget that all the monies stolen would have helped curtail a lot. Imagine, one person will carry 90bil and nothing happens. I just tire. I should have japaed then.
Bubu is the worst president we've ever had.
Simply put, your 50k then (during yar aduas) time @120=$417
Now, ₦50k @750, it is worth only $66.
Your ₦200k then =$1600
Now your salary=$266.
No be juju be that?

No wonder you go to embassy thinking you have millions in your acct. When they convert it, it is pittance.
Politics › Re: Economic Hardship: Nigerians Won’t Die, Will Adjust To Survive – Ngige by nedekid: 8:57am On May 08, 2023
As said by someone with no visible source of income for the past 20 years other than politics. A person that could pay 100m for party form.
Abeg, Nigerians, including online worriors will adjust and survive, as he said, the same thing is happening around the world. Lol.
His kids though will school in the best universities around the world while we fight over tribe, region, politicians, parties online.
One day we will have sense.

The online worriors will suffer the fate of average Nigerians.

Akpabio should be given the senate presidency easily, he is as much a crook like all the other in APC cheesy
Imagine what happened in nddc when he was supervising minister. How much will fill this kind of man's belle? Even oga about to be sworn in, despite all the trillions he has, is still collecting pension from lasg. See all the political baggage, all them gandujje, rufaii etc, hundreds or thousands of professional politicians that need to be settled.
Question is what will remain for the average Nigerian.
I think we may be in deep shit.

Hope they aren't using second hand tyres like one airline in Nigeria?

This aircraft will be grounded, what a huge loss because of some people's negligence
The aircraft is already grownded, abi did the Tyre not burst again?
Truth of the matter is that tyres can have issues. Even brand new tyres you buy for your car can fail. (Google British airways a380 Tyre failure at Heathrow from Hong Kong)
It could also be that the runway has potholes. Last time I landed at mm2, the aircraft landed on a pothole and we all felt it. Few months later the runway is currently closed for resurfacing.

Consequence of bad leadership. In the 80s, Nigeria was a choice destination for studies. There were Indians schooling in our secondary schools and universities. My dad's friend was the Head of international students who came from South Africa to study in those days at UI. He said people were turning down the idea of schooling abroad in those days. Thabo Mbeki's younger brother schooled in Unilag. What has really changed huh How are the mighty fallen
I remember those days in UI, we had lots of south African students. Heavy beer drinkers. Heard Nigeria government paid them alot of allowances. We even had Palestinians students. Lots of them. So many students from around the world.

They have been reduced to ordinary dot in a circle with self destruction atomic bomb
Oga, lf it is Hausa, Fulani, igbo, SS, or the incomming SW president, if you are not well positioned to eat from the national cake, it makes no difference personally to you and many others who rules.

You will still buy fuel, pay to enter brt, train, clear your car from ports, buy cassava, garri, beans and dodo at the same cost majority of Nigerians will pay.

Infact the ipob man (using your words) well positioned, will make money compared to unpositioned fellow from the part of the country you come from.

Nigeria is not a nation, and will NEVER form a nation. A nation is formed from a country of people who share common value systems. Nigeria is of diverse religious and ethnic groups.
Even Oyibo people don't permit country of different religious or ethnic groups in Europe. Check that out in Europe.
Are you sure about your last statement?
UK, Germany, France will probably have more foreigners than their indigenes in the next 20 years.
Already in places like London and Manchester, to find original Britishman is hard.
